“Small place ran by a lovely couple with all the signature classic Romanian dishes! This place is a complete hidden gem! The eggplant salad starter is just like my grandmother and mother make, the meats are excellent - portion sizes are huge and everything tastes like a solid Romanian place on my visits to Romania. The star today was the Papanasi - a classic Romanian cheese donut! One of the best I had ever! Highly recommended! Will definitely come again!“

“Mother and daughter day trip to the area. We took a chance and decided to try The Pitt for a late lunch. Wonderful and surprising exoerience. Small place with a big heart!

The gentleman there was obviously a neighborhood treasure. Customer after customer came in and engaged in short but thoughtful banter. He was friendly and made us feel welcomed.

The food was very good! The service was kind, thoughtful and genuine. The atmosphere was warm and homey. Definitely more of a take out or dine and go quick spot with limited seating.

We had the pulled pork sandwich and brisket on a biscuit. You pay for the sides. Coleslaw was included. We got chocolate chip cookies to share. Pricey but delish!

Parking was free and right in front. I have a feeling that parking may vary at different times of day.“

“I had such a great experience at Columbia BBQ Restaurant & Bar! I stopped in during my lunch break and everything was absolutely delicious.

I ordered the shrimp in garlic sauce, which was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. It came with yellow rice, pinto beans, and fresh avocado, and the whole plate was seasoned just right — comforting, filling, and fresh. I also had a passion fruit margarita with sugar on the rim, and it was AMAZING — sweet, tropical, and super refreshing.

My friend had the beef steak with onions, also served with yellow rice, pinto beans, and avocado, and he loved it. The steak was tender and well-seasoned. He paired it with a gin and tonic, which was made perfectly.

What really made the visit special was the owner, who personally served us. She was so friendly and attentive, and you could tell she really cares about her customers and the food.

Taking advantage of the people and technically 3 times the fee of a larking ticket you’ll get from the Montclair police dept. Robbery for sure and taking advantage of the state to charge high fees. “Went there today for the first time with my wife, I had the 10 West burger, so delicious, cooked perfectly and the burger was huge, just the right number of toppings and the bacon jam hit it out of the park. The sweet potato fries were excellent and enough for two people. The chips that come with the burger were also good. My wife had the regular burger with no cheese and an order of regular fries. She really enjoyed it and said it was cooked perfectly. The staff was friendly, the owner, Mel, greeted us, took our order and chatted with us while our order was being prepared. We were given a little disc that lit up and vibrated when the order was ready to be picked up at the counter. One of the best burgers around! A little pricy, but definitely worth it! We'll be going back for another delicious mouthwatering experience!“

“They have Little boba and Cupbob on the same location. Recently discovered the place and started coming here for the milk tea mostly. Good food options too.

There are two self ordering kiosks inside. One by the entrance which has the full menu of Little boba and a few options of Cupbob. As you walk in, you will see the other ordering kiosk which has the complete Cupbob menu and a few milt tea and other drink options. Both kiosks are card only. If you prefer to pay with cash or need assistance ordering, you can walk up to the ordering counter upfront.

Should definitely try the honeydew milk tea. They have different milk alternatives for folks with dietary restrictions. They also have wide varieties of jellies and bobas to go with the drink. I personally like the mango jelly and coffee jelly. Staff are always polite and helpful. Service is always top notch and quick for the drinks. Might face a delay with the food if you don’t order ahead though since there always seems to be a continuous influx of online orders coming in.

They have limited indoor seating and limited parking. You can try parking across the street if in a pinch.“

“By far my fave kbbq spot. The meats are high quality and the servers are always very friendly. Their marinated short ribs and house special spicy pork are my absolute faves. Love how the charcoal flavor gets into the meat. Their mool nengmyun (buckwheat noodles in a cold broth) compliments their bbq meats really well, and their broth is the real deal. The Korean-style beef tartare (over seasoned sushi rice) is phenomenal and my must-eat every time I go.“

“Haven’t come here in a while. I ordered fried meat dumplings and soup dumplings to start my dinner. The dried dumplings came suspiciously fast, and I was right. They were precooked and kept heated. The dumpling itself was nice. The flavor was nice. It was the texture that was a bit off. The bottom was burnt but not crispy enough. A few of them were broken and the filling was visible.

The soup dumplings were okay. It was steaming hot. The wrapping was nicely done, but just a bit too thick to my liking. The flavors inside were a little bland. I didn’t like it with soy sauce, so I asked for vinegar, and it immediately made it better.

For main course, I got an orange beef. It was cooked very nicely. The beef was cut into bite size, and fried until they were golden and crispy. However, a few pieces were quite tough and hard to chew. The steamed broccoli was cooked perfectly! It was green and crunchy. It paired well with the dish. The rice was okay.

Overall, it was a nice meal. A little more expensive than I remembered, and the food quality was a little not as good as I remembered.“

I ordered the jerk pork, rice and peas, cabbage/carrot dinner, along with a large goat soup, festival and a Soursop drink. The pork is divine, well seasoned, juicy, tender and succulent, the rice and peas were flavorful and moist, the cabbage/carrots were very tasty too.
