“Met the new owners and had a nice conversation about people and food. Got a whole Cheesteak sandwich for two of us. I got mine with everything. I tried my best to eat a quarter of the sandwich. I was not successful. It was a great treat on a blustery day. Going back to give everything else a try.”

“I was referred to Willows Wisp bakery by a friend of mine to bake my daughter’s wedding cake. I was in a panic because I waited too long to order this cake but Ashley provided a very calm and positive assurance that she had it covered! I sent her a picture of the cake my daughter requested and she came through for us. Not only was the cake exactly what we wanted but this cake was exquisite. Everyone LOVED this cake. I was asked over and over who we ordered the cake from. If you are looking for baked goods please do yourself a favor and call Willows Wisp….you will not be disappointed!!”

“So I’ve lived in Salem most of my adult life, and I can confidently tell anyone reading this the food IS very good. Compared to other Chinese restaurants in Salem county Supior. Now the plexiglas can’t have customers feeling this is normal, and bc it’s not! This is the hood and better safe than sorry, so no judgment there. My MY ONLY issue, is they are way overpriced. $7.50 for 4 wings! But I know every restaurant is overpriced these days, so not exclusive to Welcomes. However, I’ve been a customer since the mid-90s, they were ALWAYS known for affordable good food… Still good food, but high priced in a sketchy neighborhood.”

“Sabatina's knocked it out of the park for my husband's birthday. we ordered a couple of sandwich trays and chicken tenders and everything was fresh and outstanding! the ladies in the shop even helped my daughter and I carry our food down the street since it was DE City Day and Clinton Street was blocked off. We can't wait to order again!”

“Italian kitchen is a great one stop shop for all your catering orders. I showed up to pick up the sandwiches for our church lunch and I had put the wrong date on the order!!! They were able to accommodate me and worked like crazy to get it done. The cake I ordered was superb!!! If it had not been for the kindness of this store today, I don’t know what I would have done. The cashier, God Bless you. You went above and beyond to fix my mistake. Love you all!!!”

“Salem Seniors met for Lunch Bunch today on 10/17 at Dirty Jersey's in Alloway. We had a group of 13 people attend and the food and service was excellent as usual. As we were finishing our meal, we were all totally surprised and shocked when our Bartender/Waitress/Christina told us that a couple sitting in the bar had already paid for all of our meals. They had already left, so we couldn't even thank them. What a nice thing for them to do. We will have to pay it forward in the future as they did for us. God bless them and Dirty Jersey's Tavern. “My first time at Gus's Crab Shack was back in December of 2021 when a band that i represent was hired by Gus to entertain his guests. Since that time, we have been a regular part of his entertainment lineup. What started as a spot at the back wall turned into a stage being built for all bands to play on and then with a new huge stage outside under a tent and then again, he added yet another stage outside under another tent. He started with just two bands a weekend and now has up to 5 bands a weekend. he has pulled out all stops in providing the best entertainment that he can for his patrons. As far as the food and service are concerned, we have no complaints. We always get what we ordered in a timely manner. The food is served hot, and beverages are ice cold. If we had any problem with an order, the staff makes it right very quickly. Gus, the owner makes it a habit to go around to meet his guest to see how they are doing and if everything is all right. We highly recommend Gus's Crab Shack. The staff is very courteous and friendly.”
