“I’ve been driving by this place for over 1 month and finally decided to order takeout Saturday night for my family. Let’s just say they did not disappoint! When you walk in the mood is instantly set by the R&B they have playing and the smell captivates you! I had the grilled shrimp, baked Mac and Cheese, Collards, Sweet Potatoes (MY FAV) and Fried chicken wings. The wings were seasoned to perfection but I prefer smaller wings. Just my preference but they were still delicious! The boys had cheeseburgers and fries. The menu is HUGE! I can’t wait to go back this weekend and this time we will eat in to enjoy the vibe!“
“First time visiting this location in Delaware and it was a busy holiday night right before closing. There was no rush, no attitudes and my order was correct. The food was tasty and not over seasoned. I really enjoyed the Mac and cheese. I would definitely revisit when I’m craving soul food or too lazy to cook it myself ?.“
“JR bbq is a very nice place to get some good food it’s very clean and the workers are very friendly the ribs are to die for and there always have very good special deals the fried fish is always fresh just how I like it keep up the great work“
