Omg the staff was friendly and attentive to me and my order, the young lady Shantel definitely deserves a bonus!!! She was kind, engaging, knowledgeable about her sandwich’s and the toppings and her recommendations were on point. She was engaging with her coworkers and she cleans up a lot and you can see she’s clean, and her parents raised a beautiful young lady with her mannerisms. She recommended a sandwich each to my friends and I and we all loved it!!! Can’t wait to came back and support this clean and delicious sandwiches. Now whoever is this young lady boss she deserves a bonus because she loves her job, the people and runs a clean and wonderful establishment!!! “There were 3 young men working when I arrived on Thursday to pick up lunch for my co-workers and I. They were all very nice and helpful as it was my first time there. One cooked our food, one rang me up and gave me menues for home and work, and one invited me back over the weekend for a charity event they were sponsoring. Kudos to all of you! I brought the sandwiches back to work, and everyone absolutely loved it! All of the food was so fresh and delicious! We even ordered again the next day! Joe the owner and his employee Desire questioned me about the number of people I wished to serve, and at that point told me that I was ordering too much food! Upon Joe's advice, I ordered a menu which came to a final total of $215.00! Everything was delicious, and there was some left over, just as Joe supposed there would be. Handmade with care and attention to detail, the sandwiches are delicious and fresh. There are very few healthy beverage options, but Bai water is one and a good selection of flavors available. I tried the Buffalo Chicken sub, and it was so tasty! The bread was fresh and crispy, and the meats and veggies were really good. Everything was balanced perfectly, and they didn’t hold back on the ingredients.

Not like the others putting only 4-6 slices of 1/8" thick (should be 8-10 with no egg). Really thin tastes better just like at the deli. A first for me with the porkroll. Good idea. “We order subs form here at least twice a month. Subs are always pretty good BUT today I ordered a meatball sub.. All I can say is it was the nastiest meatball sub I ever ate! I’m sure the meatball sub from WaWa is much better. The sub contained a crap load of sauce and mushed meat not even meatballs. The meat tasted like the cheap meat from a can. Every time I think of it I want to vomit 🤮!!!! I normally place online orders but today I went in. They don’t even put paper down while making your sandwich they place the bread on the counter and slide it from one side to the other. I didn’t complain since it looked clean BUT I will Not be ordering from there again. What a waste of $15. I tried giving the rest to my dog but he didn’t even eat it. He put it in his mouth then spit it back out. If a dog won’t eat what does that tell you???! I would really like a refund but reality I know I ain’t going to get one. So I will WARN all those who like meatball subs DO NOT go to Jersey Mikes in Matawan. They truly suck. I can’t get the nasty meat flavor out of my mouth.
