“For my wife she thinks this is the best tuna ever. She has traveled much of the world and this country and she still holds tastee’s tuna at number 1. I am a turkey guy or the buffalo chicken. Always outstanding perfect balance of toppings and condiments (sometimes could lay off the mayo haha).

“Gave a 5 for the atmosphere although I haven’t been there. I imagine it’s top notch based off of the customer service experience I had with a young gentleman on the phone today. I made an Uber Eats order and called to make an adjustment to my sandwiches. The young man on the phone was professional and did not hesitate to make sure that my accommodations would be granted. I wish I caught his name but the call took place at approximately 3:36PM on 1OCT25. He was exactly what I expect when calling an eatery. Prompt, direct, and accommodating. No questions asked, no back and forth. As someone who works in the industry it was greatly appreciated.“

“If you want a great, "old school" alternative to Tastees, this is the spot! I don't think they've changed the menu board since the 80s, maybe earlier. Handmade with care and attention to detail, the sandwiches are delicious and fresh. There are very few healthy beverage options, but Bai water is one and a good selection of flavors available. Friendly service and vintage interior decor make this sandwich shop a great stop along Woodbridge Avenue. Pictured is the tuna with pickles on the side.“

I had reviewed the menu and had come up with a figure of $300.00, which by my calculations would provide enough subs, salads and sides for all involved. Probably with some left over. Joe the owner and his employee Desire questioned me about the number of people I wished to serve, and at that point told me that I was ordering too much food! Upon Joe's advice, I ordered a menu which came to a final total of $215.00! Everything was delicious, and there was some left over, just as Joe supposed there would be. It was a nice, professional gesture on his part, and a good way to treat a customer.“

“Makes a great sandwich hot or cold. busy lunch place. This place changed my mind about porkroll and cheese. He slices the porkroll really thin(paper)and puts lots of slices on the sandwich. Not like the others putting only 4-6 slices of 1/8" thick (should be 8-10 with no egg). Really thin tastes better just like at the deli. A first for me with the porkroll. Good idea. “This was my first time trying this location and it wasn't a bad experience. Although I did enjoy my good, there were a few small errors that won't allow me to go above 4 stars. I specifically asked for the sauce on the cheese fries to be on the side. However the cheese was on top and it was a bit messier than I would've liked. This wasn't a deal breaker since the fries were soggy and still had a good amount of cheese. However she they were unnecessarily messy.
Similarly with the sandwich. The flavor was there. The roll was soft. Lettuce was crisp, as was the tomato juicy.
Buuuut, the sandwich wasn't evenly sliced. Almost as if they started to cut it and then stopped. Which made a port fall out when I picked it up. So, although minor errors, they were big enough to affect how much I enjoyed the meal.
Will I return? I would say Yes!!“

“I don’t know the employees name, but occasionally I run in with a last minute craving on my way to work @8:30pm. I know it’s towards the end of the night, but she is still always so pleasant and my food always made perfect and quickly. Tonight’s turkey sandwich was no exception. Too many times people just complain or take good service for granted, and I’d love to see see them get the recognition deserved. Some of us do appreciate it, especially when we’re running to work. “Ordered 50 veggie patty subs for volunteers at a local Health Fair. Maulika was very pleasant and friendly, and still gave me a good price even though there was a misunderstanding between whether I ordered all veggie sub or veggie patty sub. She was so accommodating and even gave us a free sub to “taste”. Customer service was excellent. Place was clean. Subs were ready on time, and delicious. We got extra condiments. Maulika’s co worker was also very friendly. A good experience. We were happy to spend our money here!
