I’m glad I finally did.The melanzane pie brings me back to Italy, and it’s become a craving on meatless Fridays. The ingredients — eggplant, ricotta, marinara, basil — are fresh and tasty. The Capri wrap (tender grilled chicken, broccoli rabe, & fresh mozzarella) is also another must have — pure garlic goodness.Dario, one of the owners, efficiently runs the front of the house. “My husband and I we went to I hop yesterday it was a late night run and it was a good experience. When we got there the hostess she was nice and welcoming.. she sat us down waited for a couple of minutes came back got order and drinks.. she should have wrote down the order. I got the turkey sausages, eggs whites, pankes and grits.. and he got the bacon burger with eggs and fries and french toast.. the burger was great the egg add a nice touch to it.. the fries wasn't bad and the French toast was ok.. the grits was good but it was a tad bit too watery.. the egg whites and the pankes were great.. the turkey sausages was alright. We got something to drink also orange juice and raspberry iced tea and the waitress came by twice and asked us how was the food... so over all is was good. We got the bill.. the bill was $41 and some change and she scratched out the price and charged us $51 and some change.. I didn't know they can do that.“

Don't know if it's the cleaning of the lines, the beer that not being ordered often and hence a keg that been on too long? Most of the tap offering were fine, but they seem to, like many places too many IPA's and not enough porters, stouts etc.. our visit was right before St. Patrick's day so we tried the Irish offering, a Shepherd's pie and a Seafood Pot pie both were yummy, the right taste, our only criticism was the were only lukewarm. The parking lot had only a couple cars: If I had driven here then would have been ample space. From the outside, the place looked considerably plain, for a Manno-produced dining car (it was likely bricked with stucco)---the interior, in which clean stools and countertops lined the walls, was not much different, though there was a plethora of mid-late 1900s memorabilia for decoration. As soon I walked in, the two staff manning the counter and grill asked what I wanted; there were many regulars who already knew, though I wasn't one of them.I ordered a large coffee, Cali cheeseburger, and fries, which cost ~$15. I took a seat at the main counter (only 2 seats there), and only a couple minutes afterward was my meal ready. The coffee was standard, but the burger and fries are to die for---this burger is the type that melts beautifully. The meat synthesizes with the rest of the ingredients to create a harmonious sensation of flavor with each bite, equally juicy and savory in tandem with sour sweetness. The fries were especially crispy, with an audible crunch in each bite; their only downside was the amount of salt I put on them. Though pricy, it is impossible to go wrong with burger and fries at White Rose.“

Basically you have to plan to go there, rather than wander in aimlessly. The restaurant was not crowded, so we had a seat and were able to place our orders right away. The restaurant is clean with plenty of room to move about. I had an angus burger baha style and a side of Spanish rice and my wife got the angus burger as protein on top of a salad. The server brought our orders promptly to our table and commented that he had never seen someone order a burger baha style. Frankly, the flavors blended very well, in my opinion. The Spanish rice was delicious and came with little bits of chouriço. My wife enjoyed the freshness of the salad as well as the portion. Enough left over for a lunch. We will definitely be back.“
