“The reason for 4 stars is that the person who took the order did not even ask whether I wanted spicy or normal or tell me that there was a spicy version. Usually I have seen them ask in other places. So I got the regular and then regretted as it was a bit bland for my taste. When I came home my husband reminded me that I should have asked for the spicy version.“

“First time trying Dave’s and it was delicious! Brought my son for a quick bite and order just plain Dave’s bites and my son was obsessed! Hes super picky but the chicken was really juicy and fresh. “I have wanted to try this for a while. I do not live in Edison, was visiting and decided to try. I always see many people leaving with their bags looking happy. OMG! This chicken is fabulous. Crunchy, juicy, the garlic honey sauce is a great combo of sweet and savory. It was too much food for me at one meal, but it was just as good as a leftover. A few minutes in the toaster oven to recrisp and it was still great. People are friendly and efficient. I will definately be back when I am in town next.“

“Delicious fried chicken! So angry with myself for not being trying Barn Bird earlier. My husband and I got Barn Bird Kitchen for the first time 3 weeks ago - and we’ve now ordered from them twice more and ate there once. They only do like 6 things, but they do them soooo well! First time here, and we absolutely loved it! The restaurant is beautifully and modernly decorated, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. We were greeted right away, and the service was wonderful.

The food was delicious, especially the Bola Soup and Guatita, which tasted very authentic to Ecuador’s La Sierra region. Everything was served quickly and tasted homemade and fresh.

Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. I will definitely be returning to try more dishes. A must-visit for anyone looking for authentic, homemade Ecuadorian food!“

“If I’m hosting at my house or attending an event elsewhere where I need to bring a dish. I will order a tray of chicken from here. It’s very good fried chicken and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend giving them a try. This is not a sit down place. Take out only. I cannot comment on any of their meals. I only order their chicken for events, but they do offer a full menu. Street parking only.“

“Dave’s Hot Chicken was absolutely amazing. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor, and the spice level was perfect. The fries were fresh, the sauce was incredible, and the portions were definitely worth it. The staff was also super friendly and everything came out quickly. “I ordered Chicken Biryani and Chicken Kabab through Uber Eats. After I ordered , I realized that I forgot to order Nan. So I called the restaurant and ask them that what can I do now. The person(probably the owner) replied , I will add Nan and whenever you visit, give me 2 Dollars. That was really a nice gesture which I will remember and must appreciate(along with the debt on me).

“Basic takeout experience. I wish they had better vegetable options; my kids and I hate coleslaw, so we have to make a veggie side in order to have a well rounded meal.

There's no seating inside, which is fine because we were bringing it to family, but I wish they had a drive-thru window so I wouldn't have to unbuckle my kids every time I pick up food there.“

“Uber Eats order withe special instructions followed them to the dot and T wings are really good and REAL what I mean by that is not those over large uncooked wings I mean regular sized crunchy flavorful wings with no hairs which also means they clean it well adding hot sauce just elevates the flavor I took a chance you should too“

“I went here to try a fresh poultry and it was what I expected and liked that I had my choice of country hen. The service was good and I didn't have to wait long before receiving my hen they even give you the gizzardsand feet. It costs a little higher than I expected. But for fresh poultry it's worth it. My only realy complaint is parking is terrible. The chickens aren't jammed together and have some space to roam which is good. I will go again.“

“Great hot wings, that's pretty much the only thing I ever get here, but I have had other things, and it was pretty good. All the employees are really friendly and extremely patient. Just to be perfectly honest, this place is located in a rather tough area, so keep that in mind when going here. Also there's no seating, it's strictly take out, the prices are very fair, and it offers a decent amount of other products similar to a small bodega. All in all, the wings keep me going back almost weekly for a number of years now and I've never had any problems with other customers. Enjoy!“

“I have been going to KFCs since they started and they have been around for at least 20 years +. And I love the menus. The chicken is outstanding and I love the biskits and the chocolate chip cookies. Prices are reasonable to. I’m disabled now so I’m going to have to get someone to go and use the drive in to pick up my food. I live right down the street at the Senior Tower West building at Plainfield Avenue and W. 7th Street. We are right here at the corner. It’s so easy to get there. It’s the best spot for that KFC cause it’s right on the corner and it’s right in a busy section in that area.“

“i usually order jezifs through doordash since i got a deal on dashpass and they're on there. every single time ive ordered from here, the food has been incredibly well made and packed, and my current order was very carefully thought for. i had ordered a red velvet cake, oreo cheesecake, and chocolate cake. since they didn't have chocolate, they compensated by sending a tres leches and their apple cake as well, which was so lovely to see. overall amazing place to get food from, all my love to the staff!“
