“Love the location in Townsend Inlet and close to the beach. Spacious and clean condo with room to spread out with our group. Can catch the jitney to the bars and other restaurants.“

“Come here often. Food is exactly what you’d expect for a spot by the beach, definitely get the fish tacos. There is a tall blonde who works as host but she has also brought me my food before. She always has a smile and exceptional service. Thank you“

“Chanterelle BYOB. is definitely a up and coming fine dining experience. if you have followed Chef Jeremy Palumbo from PSI to Swine Bar to Provence and now to Chanterelle. you know that his culinary excellence will leave the colors plated to perfection on your plate and the taste of his culinary excellence exploding on your palet. the restaurant Is beautifully decorated with a calm and soothing atmosphere. the staff was excellent at their jobs and showed pride in their work . I would highly recommend this new establishment on 96th St in Stone Harbor. I have to give it 5 stars .“

“WoW WoW WoW ! Today was my first time dining here and it certainly won’t be my last. Everything was incredible. Shrimp tempura for a starter and it was outstanding. The salmon dish was out of this world and like no other salmon entrée I have ever had. You will not be disappointed and the service was top notch! Well Done jays on third“

“We had a reservation for 7:15 on Valentine’s Day, arrived and checked in around 7:10, the hostess was so friendly and calm considering how packed the little vestibule area was, she said there was a little wait but we were still seated by 7:25, which was perfect. Our waitress, Kimmie was amazing! Obviously it was a very very busy night, kitchen was a little backed up, and they were out of most steaks but we were just enjoying our time together. Kimmie made sure we had a drink or food in front of us the entire time and checked in often. The bussers did a great job making rounds and clearing dishes within minutes of us being finished. We had a great experience and will be back to dine here again.“

“My friends and I had been wanting to try Provence, and it surpassed our expectations. Upon arrival, we were taken in by the stunning decor and historical architecture and character. LOVE the exquisite wallpaper throughout!
We decided on the 3 course meal and were in awe of the presentation, immersed in the delectable flavors, and impressed with the portion sizes. Many of us took home leftovers. All 6 of us were very pleased with our meals. I highly recommend Provence!“

“The Water Star Grille is the outdoor restaurant on the bay at the Reeds in stone Harbor. The food is expensive, but that comes with the territory. Our server was very pleasant and the quality of all the food we ordered was great. I was disappointed that you only get 6 oyster half shells for $28.....but I should have asked about quantity before ordering. I am pretty sure that I have never only received 6 oysters when ordering an iced tray of oysters before. The reason to go here for dinner is the view of the sunset over the bay for dinner outside on a beautiful summer day.“

“I liked the fries which were gluten and dairy free. The location was crowded by seagulls who are only worthy of extermination. This ruines the atmosphere of the place. They were quick and helpful though.

Vegetarian options: Potatoes is vegan

Dietary restrictions: Dairy and gluten free minus the cheese

Parking: So its on a boardwalk and parking on the boardwalk is illegal

Kid-friendliness: The seagulls would eat your kids if they were small enough

Wheelchair accessibility: There is ramps onto the boardwalk but i would not advice they come here as they will not be able to out run the seagull“

“We were there yesterday (Friday 28th)….,,, game day of course it was busy that’s expected .,,. Put our name on the list for a seat weighted and watch the game of course for three hours to find out our name was taken off the list somehow….. we are not a complaining type. I understand it’s game day things happen. It gets crazy completely understandable. Still had a fun time watching the game. !!!!! …….. but I like shout out a big thank you to Mike one of the managers there forgetting us a table and being so kind to us….. “⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We’re locals and chose Sax at the Reeds to celebrate our anniversary on a Tuesday night in September. Since many of the local steakhouses were closed, we decided to give Sax a try — and we’re so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming. Our server, Patrick, was absolutely outstanding. He was attentive, incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and wine list, and even made something as simple as choosing a steak knife a fun and memorable experience. He explained where the knives came from, what they were made of, and offered his favorite — such a unique touch! The food was just as impressive. I went with a mix of apps and a salad — the shrimp cocktail (huge shrimp!), perfectly seared local scallops (I was expecting three and got closer to eight!), and the truffle cheese burrata salad, which was loaded with heirloom tomatoes, arugula, basil, balsamic reduction, sea salt, and basil oil. Everything was fresh and delicious. My husband had the New York Strip with truffle fries and grilled asparagus — a perfectly cooked, hearty steak that left him very satisfied. We left completely full and so happy with our experience. Sax exceeded our expectations in every way, and we’ll definitely be back soon. Highly recommend for both locals and visitors looking for a special dinner spot!“
