“I am a Kindergarten teacher in Millville and we decided to take the whole grade level to the beach for a field trip. I reached out to the Churn House asking if they could accommodate our K students and they did not hesitate at all. They opened their ice cream shop early just for our school to enjoy. They made the students huge homemade ice cream sandwiches that were absolutely delicious! Communication was beyond superb and we will be using them again!! Thank you so much for making our kiddos beach day special!!“

“I have eaten here twice. Once was in the fall, and now today, right before Christmas. The ambiance is the most charming! I loved it as soon as I walked in. Some places that are adorned aren’t kept very tidy. Jon & Patty’s is VERY clean! Never do you worry about dust or debris. The coffee and apple cider are AMAZING! You will miss out if you don’t treat yourself to one of them. I personally suggest the cider. I normally NEVER get cider anywhere… but this cider is next level! The food is fantastic… definitely try the nutty chicken salad and the sweet potato fries. Jon and Patty’s is sure to please!“

“We had a reservation for 7:15 on Valentine’s Day, arrived and checked in around 7:10, the hostess was so friendly and calm considering how packed the little vestibule area was, she said there was a little wait but we were still seated by 7:25, which was perfect. Our waitress, Kimmie was amazing! Obviously it was a very very busy night, kitchen was a little backed up, and they were out of most steaks but we were just enjoying our time together. Kimmie made sure we had a drink or food in front of us the entire time and checked in often. The bussers did a great job making rounds and clearing dishes within minutes of us being finished. “⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We’re locals and chose Sax at the Reeds to celebrate our anniversary on a Tuesday night in September. Since many of the local steakhouses were closed, we decided to give Sax a try — and we’re so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming. Our server, Patrick, was absolutely outstanding. He was attentive, incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and wine list, and even made something as simple as choosing a steak knife a fun and memorable experience. He explained where the knives came from, what they were made of, and offered his favorite — such a unique touch! The food was just as impressive. I went with a mix of apps and a salad — the shrimp cocktail (huge shrimp!), perfectly seared local scallops (I was expecting three and got closer to eight!), and the truffle cheese burrata salad, which was loaded with heirloom tomatoes, arugula, basil, balsamic reduction, sea salt, and basil oil. Everything was fresh and delicious. My husband had the New York Strip with truffle fries and grilled asparagus — a perfectly cooked, hearty steak that left him very satisfied. We left completely full and so happy with our experience. Sax exceeded our expectations in every way, and we’ll definitely be back soon. Highly recommend for both locals and visitors looking for a special dinner spot!“

“I have been going to stone harbor pizza for years. When the Reeds took over, the pizza got considerably worse, but I was pleasantly surprised this year when they must have changed a recipe and everything tasted amazing. The restaurant has a wonderful view from the outside and the service was fantastic.“

“We went twice. All the food was pretty good. I recommend the chicken quesadillas. They're a bit pricey ($15) but they were really good and everything is more on the boardwalk so not really out of the norm there. Pizza is good ($9 for the cheese combo- 2 slices and a small drink)- guys there were pretty great-one upgraded our drink for free and that little bit of kindness brought us back for more food. Burgers, chicken wings were good. Not the best ever but pretty good overall. I do love the variety so it's a great place to bring a family.“
