“I highly recommend this Greek restaurant. Both meals were very flavorful, filling, and well priced. Everything was fresh and well prepared. We got the Gyro, which came with an excellent Greek salad. We also got a corned beef Reuben, which came with fries. An adaption was made to the sauce on the Reuben and substituted with something preferred. Hummus and pita bread was also served as a part of the meal. Kyma, dessert place across the street, just opened a few few weeks ago. That is also affiliated with this restaurant. They had samples while we were waiting, and those items were excellent too. Location is a very cute area of town on Asbury Avenue.“

I reached out to the Churn House asking if they could accommodate our K students and they did not hesitate at all. They opened their ice cream shop early just for our school to enjoy. They made the students huge homemade ice cream sandwiches that were absolutely delicious! Communication was beyond superb and we will be using them again!! Some places that are adorned aren’t kept very tidy. Jon & Patty’s is VERY clean! Never do you worry about dust or debris. The coffee and apple cider are AMAZING! You will miss out if you don’t treat yourself to one of them. I personally suggest the cider. I normally NEVER get cider anywhere… but this cider is next level! The food is fantastic… definitely try the nutty chicken salad and the sweet potato fries. Jon and Patty’s is sure to please!“

Since many of the local steakhouses were closed, we decided to give Sax a try — and we’re so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming. Our server, Patrick, was absolutely outstanding. He was attentive, incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and wine list, and even made something as simple as choosing a steak knife a fun and memorable experience. He explained where the knives came from, what they were made of, and offered his favorite — such a unique touch! The food was just as impressive. I went with a mix of apps and a salad — the shrimp cocktail (huge shrimp!), perfectly seared local scallops (I was expecting three and got closer to eight!), and the truffle cheese burrata salad, which was loaded with heirloom tomatoes, arugula, basil, balsamic reduction, sea salt, and basil oil. Everything was fresh and delicious. My husband had the New York Strip with truffle fries and grilled asparagus — a perfectly cooked, hearty steak that left him very satisfied. We left completely full and so happy with our experience. Sax exceeded our expectations in every way, and we’ll definitely be back soon. Highly recommend for both locals and visitors looking for a special dinner spot!“

The Watermelon Mojito was especially refreshing and perfect for a warm summer afternoon overlooking the basin. The drinks were fresh, balanced, and beautifully presented.

Of course, pizza is the star of the show. The specialty pizza we ordered arrived loaded with toppings, baked with a crisp crust, quality ingredients, and plenty of flavor. Every bite tasted fresh, and it’s easy to see why this has become a popular destination for both locals and visitors.

Another feature worth mentioning is The Crew Room, a separate event space upstairs that offers its own unique atmosphere. The nautical décor, dedicated bar, and waterfront-inspired design create a private-club feel that would be perfect for parties, celebrations, private events, and group gatherings.

“We went twice. All the food was pretty good. I recommend the chicken quesadillas. They're a bit pricey ($15) but they were really good and everything is more on the boardwalk so not really out of the norm there. Pizza is good ($9 for the cheese combo- 2 slices and a small drink)- guys there were pretty great-one upgraded our drink for free and that little bit of kindness brought us back for more food. Burgers, chicken wings were good. Not the best ever but pretty good overall. I do love the variety so it's a great place to bring a family.“
