“I highly recommend this Greek restaurant. Both meals were very flavorful, filling, and well priced. Everything was fresh and well prepared. We got the Gyro, which came with an excellent Greek salad. We also got a corned beef Reuben, which came with fries. An adaption was made to the sauce on the Reuben and substituted with something preferred. Hummus and pita bread was also served as a part of the meal. Kyma, dessert place across the street, just opened a few few weeks ago. That is also affiliated with this restaurant. They had samples while we were waiting, and those items were excellent too. Location is a very cute area of town on Asbury Avenue.“

I reached out to the Churn House asking if they could accommodate our K students and they did not hesitate at all. They opened their ice cream shop early just for our school to enjoy. They made the students huge homemade ice cream sandwiches that were absolutely delicious! Communication was beyond superb and we will be using them again!! “I have eaten here twice. Once was in the fall, and now today, right before Christmas. The ambiance is the most charming! I loved it as soon as I walked in. Some places that are adorned aren’t kept very tidy. Jon & Patty’s is VERY clean! Never do you worry about dust or debris. The coffee and apple cider are AMAZING! You will miss out if you don’t treat yourself to one of them. I personally suggest the cider. I normally NEVER get cider anywhere… but this cider is next level! The food is fantastic… definitely try the nutty chicken salad and the sweet potato fries. Jon and Patty’s is sure to please!“

We wish this location was open all year but at this time they are open during the summer only. The reason we love ANEW is because everything is real, whole food ingredients, with no added preservatives, chemicals, etc., and is top quality all hand made daily by their incredible chefs in-house. They have the most amazing variety of proprietary recipes from breakfast, to lunch, to dinner items. The salads are out of this world and not available anywhere else, only at ANEU. You can even choose from pre-cooked, uncooked, or frozen for many of the lunch and dinner items depending on your schedule. Also available fresh daily are custom pastries and desserts to die for. They even have breakfast sandwiches! The staff is amazing. Somehow the ANEW culture of friendly, professional, customer service still exists at its finest throughout the entire staff. A special shout-out to Deanna in the Ocean City location for her contribution to the top-notch service that you are guaranteed to experience. I could go on and on, but to make a long story short let me close by simply saying that ANEW is by far the "BEST IN CLASS" in South Jersey and we are customers for life. Since many of the local steakhouses were closed, we decided to give Sax a try — and we’re so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming. Our server, Patrick, was absolutely outstanding. He was attentive, incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and wine list, and even made something as simple as choosing a steak knife a fun and memorable experience. He explained where the knives came from, what they were made of, and offered his favorite — such a unique touch! The food was just as impressive. I went with a mix of apps and a salad — the shrimp cocktail (huge shrimp!), perfectly seared local scallops (I was expecting three and got closer to eight!), and the truffle cheese burrata salad, which was loaded with heirloom tomatoes, arugula, basil, balsamic reduction, sea salt, and basil oil. Everything was fresh and delicious. My husband had the New York Strip with truffle fries and grilled asparagus — a perfectly cooked, hearty steak that left him very satisfied. We left completely full and so happy with our experience. Sax exceeded our expectations in every way, and we’ll definitely be back soon. Located directly on Shelter Haven Basin, this is much more than a traditional pizza restaurant. The atmosphere combines waterfront views, outdoor seating, specialty cocktails, craft beer, and a menu built around pizza, shareable plates, and a relaxed Jersey Shore vibe.

One of the highlights of our visit was the cocktail program. We sampled the cocktail flight and had the opportunity to try several of their signature drinks. The Watermelon Mojito was especially refreshing and perfect for a warm summer afternoon overlooking the basin. The drinks were fresh, balanced, and beautifully presented.

Of course, pizza is the star of the show. The specialty pizza we ordered arrived loaded with toppings, baked with a crisp crust, quality ingredients, and plenty of flavor. Every bite tasted fresh, and it’s easy to see why this has become a popular destination for both locals and visitors.

Another feature worth mentioning is The Crew Room, a separate event space upstairs that offers its own unique atmosphere. The nautical décor, dedicated bar, and waterfront-inspired design create a private-club feel that would be perfect for parties, celebrations, private events, and group gatherings.
