“We had an amazing time at Pop’s night. It’s a real NJ mainstay and the new renovations made it even more welcoming and fun. We went there for an open mic night and the musicians were top-notch and friendly. It was such a privilege to play on such a well-known Jersey shore stage. We ordered some food and it was really delicious (especially the grilled shrimp appetizer) and our waitress was a ton of fun. Congrats to the new owners for keeping the vibe alive on LBI 🎶❤️👏”

The food was honestly out of this world delicious. The sourdough toast with ricotta and pistachio might be the best bite I’ve ever had in my life. I had the golden tilefish for dinner and it was cooked beautifully. My wife had the Pork Katsu and it is was also delicious.
Dessert course was awesome. Sticky toffee pudding and an orange cake that will ruin you for all other orange cakes!

“Had the pleasure of staying at the The Gables this past week. I do a good deal of travel and get to see plenty of hotels and inns. This one is right there at the top of the list. Just down the block from the beach, it drips charm, warmth and history yet has all of the modern stuff (AC, TV, WiFi, EV charger etc). Dinner was amazing and the hosts, my friends Steve Beninati and Sondra Beninati as well as the staff really know how to make you feel at home. If you want a place at the Jersey shore for just yourself or for a larger party, this is the place you are looking for.”

“We have been going to Black Eyed Susan's since their prior location across the street when it was BYOB and I can't believe it's actually gotten better in terms of menu and the cocktail menu is amazing too. With the addition of Marigold this summer they've reached the next level. We hope to rent it out next year for a private event. Could not recommend it enough if you're on Long Beach Island (or even if you have to drive the bridge)”
