“All the chefs are skilled. Chef Adil however seemed a cut above the rest. Steak was cooked to perfection and the spicy chicken fell apart in the mouth. Lots of birthdays so if your looking for quite then not the place. If however you your goal is an exciting family dinner this is your pace. Chef Adil and the short handed staff were amazing. 10/10 for everything.“

“We usually go to a place in Hackensack but there was and issue today that the manager/owner would not rectify. We opted to go more locally to Arirang instead. Best decision EVER!!! From our talented and witty chef Sando to our excellent server Elisa, we had the time of our lives. The show and food was plentiful and DELICIOUS! Our server was not only pleasant, but efficient also. She made sure that we were good on multiple occasions. My daughter who did not attend collects chopsticks so I grabbed a few stained ones from our table, she immediately replaced those with not only new ones but two different types of chopsticks without us asking. “I always say to people that I bring here that they serve flavor bombs that explode in your mouth. This place is a true experience. Atmosphere and service are always top notch and the food never disappoints. They serve non-vegan and vegan items so it is a great place to go with a mixed dietary restriction group. We then shared the pan seared pork wontons and pork skewers from the char grill. Also delicious! My mouth is watering writing this. It's a BYOB but we had their pineapple spritzer mocktails which is pineapple juice with club soda and mint leaves. They come in a plastic pouch that somehow lights up. The place had a cool vibe. “Tokyo Sushi is a solid sushi spot in the neighborhood! We ordered two party platters here for a family gathering and I was impressed with how fresh and well-prepared the rolls were. Placing our order over the phone was a breeze - the woman on the line guided us to select a number of rolls and sashimi and even gave us a few recommendations that ended up being solid picks. There was a wait of around forty minutes for our platters, but the resulting dishes were gorgeous, and most importantly, tasty.The folks here are as nice as can be and while we placed a to-go order, it seems like a postprandial froyo might be a great perk of dining in. Tap water also wasn't my favorite but don't let that prevent you from getting this great sushi. Although we couldn't have any of the sauces that came with the rolls since they had gluten, they did have GF soy sauce which was great. The server didn't have much personality and we did have to reconfirm what sauces had gluten and which didn't and had to ask for a second GF soy sauce as well even though in the beginning we did say there are two of us. “I love sushi and have gone to a number of restaurants in the NY/ NJ area. Some big name places in NYC and northern NJ. My search ended when a dear friend suggested we go to Wabi Sabi. Since that suggestion , our family and invited friends go on a regular basis and we have never been disappointed. The sushi is the freshest and Tommy offers fish you are never see at other restaurants. They offer different specials every week based on the season. It is not just the fish but the presentation and experience. Alice and her staff are extremely attentive and add to the experience. The final treat are the desserts which alone are worth the trip ! They added just the right amount of dressing/sauce. I ate half for lunch and half for dinner. “It is a friendly family business. We ordered hibachi, tom yum soup, and agedashi tofu. The hibachi was okay but a bit greasy. The agedashi tofu was very greasy. The tom yum soup used celery and carrots instead of the expected ingredients (i.e. no galangal, lemongrass, or lime leaves were detected). Thankfully, the soup was not greasy. Overall, though, most of the food tasted like greasy Chinese food (with some MSG and without douchi or shitake), and I would give it fewer stars, but it was a good amount for the price, and still edible after rubbing some grease away. I suspect the sushi is better but don't like raw fish. It came within 10 minutes despite other patrons being there, including pickup orders. I wouldn't return here, mostly because we almost ran someone over while driving there, who suddenly exited his car while he was driving in the middle of the street, and the food was not my type.“
