Ordered a philly, but it was the huge one you find youtube reviews on. It had pastrami, mushroom, cheese, onions, and brisket on a warm toasted loaf. Sandwich was huge! Split it with my husband and we didnt even finish half of our half.
Cant wait to go back and try more the next time I'm in NJ.

“Memphis Market is a great place to grab a quick inexpensive breakfast sandwich, cheese steak, pizza pretzels, and most other corner store needs. 95%of the staff is absolutely amazing. I've only had an issue with 1 person there on 3 occasions(out of maybe 500 trips there) and it wasn't a personal issue, just a matter of a woman smoking 2x while too close to the food, inside the store, and 1 other time when she was talking about a some pretty gross subject to another worker,(not much grosses me out, but this absolutely did) which made me cancel my order. She normally works (worked) early AM. Not sure if she is even still employed, but I usually go after lunch these days.“

Very economical, too with a price point that beat out the other shops in town!

My small negative critique is that the place needs a good scrubbing! That can easily turn a 4 star review into a 5 star!

I also imagine the continual use of cell phones takes away from the professionalism of what could have been a 5 star across the board.“

Amazing selection of snacks and candies, including items imported from Europe and Asia. And the deli food is soo good. Large selection of sandwiches, including a bunch of vegetarian/vegan options. Comes with a free pickle! Very filling, and the ingredients are always fresh, even when ordering late at night. (Attaching a picture of the Garden Delight sandwich and a bag of Austrian wafer treats.)

The guys working there are great people. They remember their regular customers - Arab hospitality!

I agree with others that service can be slow sometimes. I think this is because they are getting so many new customers. I try to order online to avoid the wait. Hopefully they hire one or two more employees for their busy times (especially at night, when other places are closed).

In case the owner reads this: Please add a loyalty program, like some places do through Toast or other sites! I am sure you will gain many more regulars if you do.“

Most of the things are reasonably priced, although if something is clearly priced too expensively, you can just avoid purchasing it. It’s quite handy, and has a bodega/corner store vibe to it, which is cool since it’s located in Center City, Philadelphia, and often you only find stores like it in other parts of the city like Spanish bodegas. Sometimes you have samples laid out and staff ready to chat with you and explain things. Other days, no samples laid off and staff not really interested in engaging with you unless you come right up to them with a buying signal.

Great selection: they could be absolutely slammed if they consistently overdelivered. They have RTM to themselves really, given their selection.“
