“I just left and I already need more. This place doesn't doesn't just remind you that you love bacon... It It makes you want to love it more. Not to mention, the BBQ. Whoa. The bartenders are friendly and the vibe is right. I'll be back too often.“
“Great food, even better service. Our server, Nicole was the epitome of professionalism. She was extremely welcoming and the service was awesome. This was the second time she has been our server and she made our dining experience a great one! Thank you again!“
“Literally if you live anywhere near fish town Come here !!! My fiancé and I got the meatballs and ricotta for an app AMAZING tasted like moms meatballs .. we ordered and spilt the tagliatelle with filet and truffles OH MY GOD ! My taste buds are SCREAMING I am 100% Italian and know flavors but this right here MANNNNN best thing I’ve eaten in a long long time ! Bartenders are so attentive and the atmosphere is awesome !!! Check this place out yalllll amazing“
“The employees working that night were VERY friendly! Each of the employees that I encountered had a little conversation with me, made me smile and overall made a bad day end with a good night Just because of their friendliness and conversations! Awesome place due to your employees on the night shift!“
“Definitely a very nice establishment they treat you like family and are very accommodating for football season I’m a giants fan and they have always welcomed me to watch games there not to many establishments in Philadelphia do that for there customers“
“The facility is clean. The staff is friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. With 12 simulators using the TrackMan technology, you can get your reps.A full bar and innumerable TVs throughout paired with fantastic food makes for an encompassing experience. To save money look at a membership or packages (seriously I frequent the spot 2-5x a week).“
“Parking: This is located in Chinatown, so mainly street parking. Be prepared to drive around and look for a spot. There are parking garage around the block because Bar-Ly is located right across from the convention center and diagonal from Reading terminal. This is definitely a to-go place if you and your group would like to find a place to chill or gather to watch a sport game. Not only do they have their own bar, but also have a wide variety of food on their menu! Running from Viet cuisine to sushi to pizza and wings! The vibe is just energetic once you step your foot in, especially during a sport game like the Superbowl! But I would suggest make early reservations during those big game nights. There is also a party room available for guests to book for a party.Food & Drinks: I tried their wings with mango habanero sauce, salmon pizza, and one of their drink with lychee and ginger beer that I can’t recall right off my head. The drink was pretty good. Salmon pizza was wonderful. The wings, on the other hand, I feel are a bit too dry and not enough sauce. Everything else was definitely not bad at all.“
“There wasn't much room and we were just about to leave, but the waitress Azra immediately accompanied us. We drank Watermelon mint, she did her job quickly and was very friendly. We didn't expect to encounter a Turk. I guess he was the only Turk. Thank you for the nice conversation and the nice drinks. The place was very nice in terms of decoration, there are not many hookah places like this around here. Thanks again to Azra, see you again??“
“We were in town for a concert on Friday night and stayed up on 4th near Arch. We found ourselves walking down to South Street, and did no pre-visit research on where to go. A lot of places are shut down, probably victims of the pandemic. We walked along the street and found Wooly Mammoth, figured it was time to stop. We'd already had dinner, so I can't speak to the menu but stuff being brought out to other patrons at the bar looked good. If you like wings and fries and tots and stuff to go with your beer, you're at the right spot. I'm a fan of craft beer so I like to try the locals. I don't need bud light or sam adams when I'm visiting a city with actual local brewing. We'd been to Yards the day before and I found that the only draught beer they had which I'd never had was Stacy's Mom from Evil Genius. Then I fell back on an old favorite of Magic Hat #9 (classic). We switched to the cider they had (can't recall what it was named) and enjoyed the Islanders vs. Flyers, and the 90s mix the bartender had running on Spotify. Good vibe for us, we're 90s music kids. the vibe felt honest and local, like actual people from this actual neighborhood actually come into this spot. That's always a good sign. Left around midnight to walk back to the hotel. Really good time here at Wooly Mammoth!“
“As someone with celiac, it's really comforting how great our waitress was with listening to my concerns about gluten free food. The food was great, the waitress was absolutely a sweetheart and our drinks were so good! Definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants good pub food, especially if they have dietary restrictionsDietary restrictions: Gluten free food is labeled and a completely different prep area. Also clearly labeled on menu what can be made gluten free“
“My wife and I went here Saturday night and had a good time. Happen to sit next to the owner at the bar. Nice guy, making sure everybody was enjoying themselves. Food and drinks were good. Going to check out R&B night tonight. D’s Save Vince and Bianca a table.“
“Fun little dive bar with a huge beer list, ski ball, and pool. I usually come for the food though. They have a built in food truck. The vibes here are super fun and they always have some form of a sports game on too.Vegetarian options: The pesto grilled cheese is to die for!Wheelchair accessibility: No steps, and a handicap accessible bathroom“
“Great food try the roast beef sandwiches they're killer and Friday and Saturday night free pool and you get to go right into play instead of having to wait an hour The only problem is they need to have more people go there so whoever reaches go there it has the The potential to be a really great place just need the crowd now“
“Great Bar very friendly people great place to hangout after work or weekend very great owners,if you are looking for a new place to relax or watch a sports event you won't be dissappoint been there alot a very nice bar n food with friendly people...“
“This place is amazing. I lived in Philadelphia for a few years and would come here fairly regularly. I’ve never had an issue with staff. They’re all very professional, respectful, and kind including the security guards. The owner, Kyle, is such a breath of fresh air. I had an issue at a bar in center city and I remember saying, “Kyle would never!” and walking out. He genuinely cares about his guests which would explain why he hires such professional staff. The food’s really good and I’d never encourage anyone to drink but they do make really good drinks too. They have karaoke on Wednesdays and happy hour’s at the perfect time (6-9). 10/10 would highly recommend. It is more of a college bar so keep that in mind but they welcome all with open arms.“
“Went here with some friends from Delaware out of town. Great atmosphere and plenty of tables. We went up to the second floor to visit a friend and more of mine. My friends even STILL got a pool game and I was catching up with the homies for a long long minute. Definitely popular and busy but in the best way possible. Hug/tip the bartenders. Solid 9.5/10“
“visited Saturday to try the cheesesteak and chicken sandwiches I'd read about. Great bar, neighborhood spot. Mario the bartender could not have been more friendly and welcoming. The cook, Shorty, made awesome cheesesteaks and chicken sandwiches. Good beer selection, too. All around a great stop, I will definitely be back!“
“Overall a decent bar. It's averagely popular and usually has something going on. They have a nice outdoor bar and all when the weather permits. Inside has a good amout of seating around the bar and some booths and tables. Nice little stage area for djs and bands.“
“Recently ate at this PJs, and had Dan as the server. His personable attitude and genuine demeanor made it a great experience. The cheesesteak egg rolls were delicious as usual, and wicked chicken nachos were incredibly delicious. 10 out of 10 would recommend.“
“Been here twice on a Friday night and food has always been fantastic. Only complaint is that they sat us in the non-dining room area side where a live band was playing. Very loud to the point it's hard to communicate at your table. We also had a child with us. I noticed there were more children on this side, so not sure why they decided to seat parties with kids on this side with the live band. My wife and daughter were also cold since it's more of an enclosed outdoor dining area with ceiling fans running in January and February. Will continue to come here, but next time I'll request the main dining room.Parking: Two parking areas. The smaller one closest to NJ-38 is a one way.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu available with Crayons.“
“Came for the wings and this place did not disappoint! A typical sports bar and really good food! For the wings, we got the fat daddy sauce and man did they definitely NOT skimp on the size of these jumbo wings! Nice and crispy, lots of meat and great flavors with the sauce. I already know I wanna come back to try more of their sauces. Got some loaded tots and some pierogis as well. Delicious! Sat at the bar, service was great. Will definitely be back!“
“This place is my preferable place. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this place. when I want to go to a good meal, this restaurant comes straight to my head. Great and food and a large menu.well mannered staff members, and great vibes. Also, the price is affordable. I recommend this place with pleasure.“
“Treat yourself to this place, it's a mixed crowd with young and old alike. The best thing about this place is the food and the Margerita towers. The service can be slow at times but well worth the wait. I can't stress enough how good the sautéed spinach is, and I never even liked spinach. The salmon egg rolls are to die for and just wow. Go here and enjoy, the food the food the food. And did I say the food ????“
“First time ever being there and was nothing but good vibes!!!! I only got a chicken Ceasars salad but it was delicious (I ate off of my friends plate) I can't wait to go back and explore more!!! Oh and to the group of guys that I interrupted with my dance my apologies but you loved it!!!!“
“Exceptional service! From Our waiter at Top Golf - Christian who went above and beyond, creating a a great atmosphere for a great night with my son! Despite having a lot tables, he maintained unwavering attentiveness, ensuring every detail was perfect. His genuine enthusiasm for ensuring our satisfaction made the evening truly delightful. Kudos to top golf for finding and hiring a great employee! I hope he’s acknowledged! We will back ! And Chris- thanks again for the great customer service! - Mia and James“
“It's a great bar and grill. Family friendly for a meal enough but adult enough to go and watch the game at. 2 good sized bars, 3 outdoor patios/seating areas. They do a lot for the small spot they have. Good food, decent drinks, yeah a good towny bar.“
“A non-pretentious local gem that serves well- prepared casual and comfort foods. Items are reasonably priced and a are a good serving size, so you get your money's worth. Staff is friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. The drinks are good and there is a good beer selection. It's the ideal spot to get food before or after going across the street to Tonewood Brewery.Vegetarian options: There is a veggie sandwich, the nachos can be made without chicken/beef, salads, can be modified.“
“My first time here with a few friends. I have been in search of a place for my birthday next month and I am pretty sure I have found it. Good food, the margaritas were perfect (thanks Ray) and our server, Alison was very sweet and attentive. Thanks and see you next month!“
“We continued our Christmas-themed Tuesday afternoon bar crawl at Finn McCool's Ale House in downtown Philadelphia. The Christmas theme and decorations were excellent, but the drinks were rather pricy, and they didn't serve any food. Make sure you stop in for some great pictures and maybe a boozy hot chocolate, and you can keep the mug, but move on quickly to Philly's other Christmas-themed bars!“
“Small little Irish bar downtown. It's narrow, but there is a second floor with a pool table and dart board for your enjoyment. The service is efficient and friendly. If you're looking for a laid back place to grab a pint, stop by.“
“A brilliant concept, which fuses a few everyday spots into one unique experience. The liquor store, the convenience store, the sports bar. Selection on alcohol and NA options is top notch. They’ve got Dewey smoothies. Never a bad beer from them. Also some unique sake I’m excited to give a try. I’ll definitely be back - if not for the good selection, for the vibes.“
“Depending on how packed and who's tending bar, the wait time for a drink varies- gotta be patient. The frozen "Henny" (lmmfao) colda--.. that's not Henny.. that's whiskey, trust me, I have my certification. Long story. But TuuuuMmmmm... Other than that- it's definitely a great place to go and have a blast. The Brazilian fiery haired bartender is a must see. She's cool ? Great place to chill out and play pool, if it's not crowded. Highly recommend“
“Cap'N Cats was a Favorite of our family, especially my Dad and mines, when I was a kid in the 70s. I hadn't been there in years. So, on My Dad's birthday I brought my Mom there for Clams on the Half shell, and a Fried Oyster platter. The platters were large in portion. So much so, we had platters for the next day. }“
“A typical sports bar, more bar seats than tables. Loud Live music and plenty of televisions. House of Brews has a wide variety of burgers with more toppings than you can imagine and a huge selection of beers, just don't ask for a proper pour on a Guinness, it doesn't happen. Service is good and cleanliness isn't bad. Not a place I would take children, it is an adult place to go.“
“Good food, good service even when busy and a good selection of craft beers, now the outdoors is open, and inside is getting upgrade! Unique wing sauce each month and new specials just make it better!Kid-friendliness: Very family oriented place, with great options for kids!Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps, parking and restrooms are all complete and easy to use“
“We stopped in for a quick bite and drink at Fireside Tavern. It felt like a local bar but had very welcoming staff that greeted us as soon as we entered. For the table, we ordered crabby fries, mozzarella sticks, and buffalo wings. The chef even came out to make sure there were no adjustments prior to firing up the food. Everything tasted pretty good. The wings were fried well and the mozzarella sticks were massive. If I knew the crabby fries were only just a regular order of fries with Old Bay I may have gone a different direction but the rest of the group didn’t mind them. Two things to be aware of are that they are cash only, but do have an ATM in the bar. There also was a pretty strong smell of smoke in the bar in case you are sensitive to that.“
“Food is really good as was the service, Prices are kinda rough, Myself and my son went for dinner and some games, got a steak, fish and chips 2 apps , 1 soda and 1 water, bill was $114 and then got 2 $40 with a $5 booster play cards, so that came to $96 after activation. So it came to $210 for 2 people. Pricing is really my only gripe and its a small one, I would definately go again and have fun.“
“Came here a few nights ago and while i love the vibe and atmosphere of the place, I really felt sorry for the staff in having to deal with a bunch of childish assholes that dont know how to behave like adults. I coukd feel the lovely red headed bartenders pain as she had to pretty much babysit a group of entitled morons who cant follow simple rules as well as a very miserable woman who admitted she was just there to "binge drink". God bless this little south philly Gem and its amazing staff. They are trying to make the world better for those of us who know how to commune, imbibe, and have a good time.“
“The diner was outstanding, as the waiters were very friendly and are frequently around so you can order more food. The food and drinks were great, and I enjoyed it with the comfy environment of the diner. Definitely an awesome experience, would come again when I visit the area again!“
“This review is to complement the number 1 server at HollywoodCafe Michele. It would be an understatement to call Michele just our server on weekends, Michele has now become our family. She has introduced us to so many wonderful people This review is to compliment the number 1 server at Hollywood Cafe MicheleIt would be an understatement to call Michele just our server on weekends, Michele has now become our family. She has introduced us to so many wonderful people at the Cafe (its like our own little weekend 7am family reunion) The service is A plus, attitude is amazing and Michele always makes sure our food comes out fast and hot ( and my two waters with Lemon). We are always greeting with a " hey lovers" or good morning" sweet hearts" and the most officious smile. We love and thank Michele for all her hard work.We hope this review finds Hollywood Diner and Michele.Only issue I would say is the fact that the new owner is cutting back. Now you get 2 pancakes instead of 3 for the same price. And three sausages instead of 4 also for the same price, I understand inflation but we miss the good ole days when you would get a good portion of food and the server was aloud to butter your toast. We also seen the poster board inside the diner of the Reno looks amazing, but there are concerns, after speaking to everyone about it we are all just owner is cutting back. “I love to order from apple bees on my lunch break, and EVERY single time the food is nice and warm/hot, the staff is very friendly during the hand off of my order and I’m waiting very little time for my food. The service here is phenomenal.“
“Me having a craving for crab legs my husband chose this restaurant. Not overly crowded for a Friday night we were seated immediately. Portions are well worth the money so don't trip over the prices, it took me 3 days to finish mine and we all left with food! Their garlic butter is the best I've had so far. It's very flavorful with chunks of fresh garlic cloves lightly seasoned in a butter sauce (I opted for no old bay)! All of the muscles had meat inside and weren't just empty shells like at other places. 2 of our orders were the same but with different sauces so when the food was brought to our table, the owner came over to double check the right person, got the right order. First time ever seeing plum wine on the drink menu which had a very pleasant taste. The food and service was outstanding, it turned out to be the best birthday dinner I never wanted.“
“Very very courteous and friendly , old school from the good days ,when a business put the customer 1st .when you go to favorites you will not ask yourself the question , what happened to the service in the world today .prices were right and even won some money“
“Came for the AUCE snow crab legs, which were good but barely ate the corn and potatoes. Also had the garlic shrimp which was very good. The place is kinda small but it has tables in the back and a pool table. Sat at the bar and the bartender (who was also our server) was a doll…loved her. This place can be a bit loud though.“
“Had their Hamburger Casidia one of my favorite ❣️the waitress needs to be friendly this was the third time we had a late lunch there she always confused my order with my wifes order everytime time I think there's would be no problem to let their employees know "It's nice to be important but it's just important to be nice!“
