“I have always loved it here however, like many other restaurants, every single aspect of dining here has gone way, way down in just about every category since COVID. A real shame. Food is now mediocre, service is rushed after the 20 minute wait to get a server to come to your table for the 1st time. So unfortunate. This place used to be THEE BEST SUSHI around.“

“I've always loved this place. I have been coming here since I went to high school (and I graduated in 2014). Such delicious food, and such a great price point. I know things were cheap back then but this is still pretty cheap! About $5.50 for a teriyaki chicken bowl? They fill the container and give plenty of rice. I used to come here everyday for lunch or to bring a bunch back home. My friends and their families get this too! Truly a hole in the wall and rare place that serves great food at completely reasonable prices. High recommended.“

“I went on a weekend trip to the shore and needed to go to Walmart to grab a few things. I decided to get some sushi from the nearest location and was met with one of the best experiences I’ve had at a sushi restaurant.

The service itself was quick, taking only 5~ minutes to complete my entire order. The food was fresh, generously portioned, and it only cost us $20 for two rolls, an appetizer, salad and soup. The meal ended up being so good that I drove 25 minutes that same day to taste it again. All the employees had a big smile on their faces when we walked back in, and I left with a 10% coupon if we decided to go again.

Fantastic sushi, rapid service, hard to beat prices, and a bunch of welcoming smiles. Next time I visit Jersey, this will be my first stop.“

“Idk how I’ve never been here until today. We had the lunch special, spicy crab rolls, a spicy salmon & a philly. All delicious & good portion. Gyoza was really good too, although we prefer steamed & these were fried. We didn’t ask or check for options so nbd. The staff was friendly & service was great too. All around great little spot :)

Edit; I am convinced this is Bay Ave sushi. If it’s not, it’s a great comparison. Miss them & love it here!“

“This wasn’t just a dinner, this was an experience. Epic time. Hibachi chef was fun and entertaining. Food was absolutely incredible. The hibachi chicken and steak was packed with so much flavor and the sushi was fresh, packed with flavor and rolled to perfection, I cannot wait to go back!“

“We ordered the shrimp and filet mignon hibachi dinner to go! It was the best hibachi I’ve had in a long time. So delish! The sauce was perfect and there was plenty of food. The salad was fresh and dressing was so good. I had asked for no onions for one of the orders and there was none in the rice or the rest of that meal. They were very accommodating and my husband appreciated that very much. When I went to pick up the food everyone working was so friendly and nice. We will be going back!!“

“Always good food. We get take out mostly. The steak is always tender. Best fried rice in the area. Yum yum sauce always really good. And sushi is very good. We get the Sweet potato roll a lot. Consistently get great meals here. Definitely recommend!“

“We were Greeted as soon as we walked in the door and we’re able to sit at the sushi bar right away.staff is extremely friendly and helpful with any questions about the menu or the sake’s or beers they serve. I was finally able to find a sushi restaurant that served Uni, definitely a must try! The wife and I have eaten here numerous times and we will always go back. “Not much seating inside and all other food is decent, but Fuji has the best sushi around hands down. I’ve been to dozens of sushi restaurants and the fish here is always fresh/ rice is consistently good. We usually order miso soup, salmon, yellowtail, and white tuna sushi. The million roll is tasty and I always love a nice futo maki roll.

I understand you are busy but the guy in the front wasn’t even answering the calls, why does the ringer have to be on SO LOUD?? “I was running around all afternoon and landed here for a quick lunch. I got the chicken and broccoli with spicy chicken and fried rice combo. The bourbon chicken is miles ahead of the chicken and broccoli. The spicy chicken was very very spicy but I really like it. I was glad I decided to get a coke to wash it down with.“

“The food was amazing, and the service was fabulous. The restaurant was a little noisy with all the hibachi tables being used.

Parking: Parking was hard to find on the surrounding streets, so make sure you factor in time to find a spot.“
