“I called my order of loaded fries no chipotle mayo. Came in paid and left. I got to my destination ready to eat and there’s chipotle mayo all over. I went back and spoke to the young lady at the counter with the cooper hair. I told her I wanted a refund because I called in my order and it was wrong she did offer to make me another but I refused due to the fact that if my order was messed up to begin with instead of letting me leave with it, the young man and young lady with the braids knew it was wrong but still bagged it as if everything was correct. They didn’t even offer an apology for their mistakes. I understand that mistakes happen but it should’ve been corrected before I even got there. Time and gas wasted because of laziness.

Update. I would like to make an update to my pervious review. First I would like to say the manager Alejandro is the only reason I’m updating my review. He was very attentive with resolving the issue and making sure I had a better experience than better. His attentiveness and care for the customer is something that isn’t found with a lot of businesses. His customer service was excellent.“

“It's a very simple place to get a simple sandwich or something a little bit more. Concocted or even without any bread and turn it into a type of platter. Whatever you're looking for they have it here. Roast beef turkey oven roasted smoked swiss cheese provolone white. They got it all here and on. Good half 7 in or 16-in subs.“

I made an Uber Eats order and called to make an adjustment to my sandwiches. The young man on the phone was professional and did not hesitate to make sure that my accommodations would be granted. I wish I caught his name but the call took place at approximately 3:36PM on 1OCT25. He was exactly what I expect when calling an eatery. Prompt, direct, and accommodating. No questions asked, no back and forth. As someone who works in the industry it was greatly appreciated.“

I tried the 6 inch veggie sandwich. It came fully loaded with fresh veggies and special sauces. Each bite was filled with surprising flavours.
I highly recommend these sandwiches sealed with freshness!

Can you also tell people to keep their hands from off the glass because it’s a sanitary issue. Nobody knows what is on anybody’s hands. Anything can fall off their hands and arms. Please let your employees be more on a watch out with this and this is not the first time.“

“If you want a great, "old school" alternative to Tastees, this is the spot! I don't think they've changed the menu board since the 80s, maybe earlier. Handmade with care and attention to detail, the sandwiches are delicious and fresh. There are very few healthy beverage options, but Bai water is one and a good selection of flavors available. “Ive been staying here in Edison for like a month and have been trying to find a good cheesesteak like back home in Delaware. This place hands down has the best cheesesteaks in the area that I've found. Sesame seed roll, Cooper cheese, and of course Ribeye meat! I paired it with some fries whichwere good a good crunch but soft.“

“I went to Just Subs to place an order for a gathering involving a large number of people. I had reviewed the menu and had come up with a figure of $300.00, which by my calculations would provide enough subs, salads and sides for all involved. Probably with some left over. Joe the owner and his employee Desire questioned me about the number of people I wished to serve, and at that point told me that I was ordering too much food! Upon Joe's advice, I ordered a menu which came to a final total of $215.00! Everything was delicious, and there was some left over, just as Joe supposed there would be. It was a nice, professional gesture on his part, and a good way to treat a customer.“

“I came in on Saturday for a quick meal and was completely satisfied with everything. The girl working there was attentive to my requests and made the sandwich just how I wanted. “I have finally had a sub from a SUBWAY® that is worth 4 stars. It is The Monster with double meat and whatever toppings you prefer. I went with Garlic Aoli, Red Wine Vinegar, Lettuce, Tomato, Spinach, Black Olive, Jalapeño, Banana Peppers, Black Pepper and Oregano. Not toasted. The question is, is it worth $17? Nah. I honestly cannot tell the difference between their presliced meat to their newly sliced fresh meat. For chains, Jersey Mike’s is much higher quality for $1 - $2 more. Jersey Mike’s is actually less expensive had I went to the Avenel Subway location. The same sub there was $20! If you are in Central/North Central NJ, do yourself a favor and just go to Tastee Subs in Metuchen.

“First time here and it gave me old school Jersey Shore boardwalk vibes. Got cheesesteak and fries and mozzarella sticks, everything was clean , seasoned well and the cheese was cheesing! It’d be cool if the plaza would put in a handicap accessible curb in one of the two parking spots in front of the doors. A lot of customers come up that way and kinda struggle with stepping on and off the sidewalk there, older folks and people with strollers. There’s one a few suites down but it’s not as busy.“

“I don’t know the employees name, but occasionally I run in with a last minute craving on my way to work @8:30pm. I know it’s towards the end of the night, but she is still always so pleasant and my food always made perfect and quickly. Tonight’s turkey sandwich was no exception. Too many times people just complain or take good service for granted, and I’d love to see see them get the recognition deserved. Some of us do appreciate it, especially when we’re running to work. “We order subs form here at least twice a month. Subs are always pretty good BUT today I ordered a meatball sub.. All I can say is it was the nastiest meatball sub I ever ate! I’m sure the meatball sub from WaWa is much better. The sub contained a crap load of sauce and mushed meat not even meatballs. The meat tasted like the cheap meat from a can. Every time I think of it I want to vomit 🤮!!!! I normally place online orders but today I went in. They don’t even put paper down while making your sandwich they place the bread on the counter and slide it from one side to the other. I didn’t complain since it looked clean BUT I will Not be ordering from there again. What a waste of $15. I tried giving the rest to my dog but he didn’t even eat it. He put it in his mouth then spit it back out. If a dog won’t eat what does that tell you???! I would really like a refund but reality I know I ain’t going to get one. So I will WARN all those who like meatball subs DO NOT go to Jersey Mikes in Matawan. They truly suck. I can’t get the nasty meat flavor out of my mouth. Smh I hope the cheese steak I picked up for my husband is good......“
