“This is my town diner and every time we go there, the experience is great.2024.01: I just came here for an omelet, but decided to get the Jersey eggs Benedict. Essentially the Canadian bacon is swapped out for Pork roll.It was fantastic: salty, tangy and creamy. It was cooked perfectly, and at my table less than 5 minutes.I was impressed.“

“I went to Henry’s Diner during the lunch rush and waited outside on the line. While the line looks intimidating, it goes by pretty fast and we were seated after a 20 minute wait. The ambience here is great because the windows bring in so much light and they have customers put their bags towards the wall. The music choice gave off a retro American vibe without being distracting and the service was fast and friendly.I ordered the nutella crepe and added bananas (which costs extra) and my partner got a sandwich. The sandwich was larger and more filling but about the same price. The crepe is really thin (which is expected of a crepe but not enough to be filling). My tip would be for you to share two dishes, one more filling and another more for dessert, as we did.One meal swipe covers $12 and that comes with a drink of coffee or tea. They had a sign that says meal swipes are guaranteed till 5pm.Overall, I think the food was pretty good but ambience was the best part.“

“On April 14th, at 1:47 PM, I made a trip with my family to The Edison Diner, adjacent to Route 1, for a late lunch. Even though the lot was packed with patrons, we managed to find a spot to park. Though the place called itself a diner, there was little to no trace of a dining car; the Mediterranean architecture stood prominent. Shortly after we entered the busy restaurant, the din loud and blaring, the host guided us to a table for four in the middle of the hall. Despite its crowd, the tables at the restaurant looked clean and prepped, ready for another party. A minute later, as we browsed the menus, our waiter arrived, asking for our drink orders: Three Cokes---plus one extra---and a milkshake followed soon afterwards. With ample time to order (and a load of bread buns on the side) we arrived at our collective decision: One macaroni and cheese, nachos supreme, a honey glazed chicken sandwich, and a flounder filet, full course included.Soon after, our waiter arrived with all orders in tow. Not including the pre-meal sides, the portions of each meal looked intimidating! I can attest to the size and strength of the chicken sandwich, my consumption of which perturbed my family. As a par-for-the-course chicken sandwich, nothing too stand-out, it was absolutely filling. My father had high praise for the flounder; my mother and sister were similarly satisfied with their meals. With the occasional check in, our waiter kept attentive to our pace, preparedly asking if we needed to-go bags right when we felt most stuffed and taking the used dishes not too long after (though he may have taken my plate back a little early). In the end, the bill came to a pricey $106 for four, with $20 in tip. Yet from this positive experience, I can wholeheartedly recommend a visit to The Edison Diner for a delicious meal.“

“I had an overall wonderful experience at Colonial Diner. The food was better than your average diner and the atmosphere was very notable. I spoke to who I believe to be the manager there about the place and he pointed out the original floors and tiles in the building. The diner had a long bar stretched across the building with multiple TVs playing movies. The staff was very friendly and my order was taken and came very quickly. I showed up about a little over an hour before closing and the restaurant did not have many people in there. The parking lot was large and had many spots. I came on a Thursday night and the staff was very quick everything was done almost immediately after sitting down.“

“We arrived around 5:00 PM on a Thursday. We were the only customers so there was parking on the street and plenty of parking in the back lot. Looking from the outside, this diner has a very nostalgic feel to it.The cook greeted us when we walked in and took our orders immediately. We each ordered the lunch special that consisted of 2 Texas weiners (with everything on it), fries, and a can of soda at a decent price of $12. The food was ready in about 5 minutes and the texas weiners were great! The atmosphere was quiet during the time we went, making it slightly awkward while we were eating, but the experience was great nonetheless. We will definitely come here again!“

“Bring an extra pair of socks to the Manville diner, because your socks will be knocked off! When we arrived we were told to sit anywhere we liked, I chose the last available booth next to the window. Our waitress came quickly and we shared a name, immediately I felt a sense of kinship. I ordered cranberry juice and a breakfast burrito with hash browns and the guy sitting in the booth with me ordered coffee, chocolate chip pancakes, toast (rye and dry), eggs and bacon with a side of hash browns. They had a tv in the corner of the diner so I was able to keep an eye on the Iran situation while enjoying my meal. On the wall above us hung a portrait of the old diner that sat on the site, as well as the asbestos factory. This got personal/emotional for me because my grandma is from Manville and many of her relatives worked there and later died from asbestos-related diseases. Price wise, it could’ve been more affordable. My final tab was $42.94 and this was for two people. But to be fair the guy I came with ordered a lot. The diner looks new from the outside but old in the inside, when I called to ask about the history of the diner they hung up on me. All in all, my food was alright and the service was good.“

“We arrived around 9:00 PM on a Thursday. We were able to park in the smaller parking lot right in front instead of the large lot next to it and were seated within a minute of walking inside. This diner has a modern feel and includes a bar but retains the booths that are indicative of diners. The hostess told us to choose any booth to sit in but did not walk to our booth to set our menus down. After taking our time looking at the extensive menu, we were ready to order but had to wait a couple of minutes before our server came to take our order. Our server was kind enough to apologize for the wait since they were occupied with a larger party then quickly took our drink and food orders. Our drink and food did not take long to be served to us (around 10 minutes) and were impressed by the quality of the items we had ordered. Order the South Central Mexican Skillet if you’re looking for perfectly seasoned home fries and fried eggs!“

“I came to Omega Diner for a Saturday Men's Fellowship with my church. It was 13 of us and we had the back room to ourselves. Our waiter was attentive throughout our duration there, especially for a large group. I ordered the mozzarella and sausage omlette, which was a pretty generous size. I loved how cheesy it was, and the sausage was cooked well. It came with home fries and toast, and I ordered a side of crispy bacon as well. For dessert, I ordered the cannoli cheesecake, and I was blown away by how generous they were with their slices. It tasted as good as it looked, and it wasn't overly rich.“

“This place is definitely worth a visit. The decor is vintage, but not antique... like 80s era. The service is fast and friendly and was also vintage :-)We went for breakfast on New Year's Day, so maybe it wasn't the best representation of the place, but I'll definitely be going back (and will update my review accordingly)The food was exactly what you expect from diner food: very good, not amazing. The one strong negative for me was the TV blasting Fox News at the bar area, and all the TVs tuned to the news. Can everyone please stop supporting News Channels that actively lie to the public?I forgave it as part of the "vintage" vibe, but not everyone wants to have news (or "nooz" in this case) blaring at them while they eat, regardless of the source.Parking: There is a large lot with many spots. People seem to park on the lawn as well, which was surprising!Kid-friendliness: It's a diner, so they like kids. However, all the TVs had news on them, which isn't exactly kid-friendly. Especially Fox News, which lies, fear-mongers, exaggerates, sensationalizes, and pushes a Republican agenda.“
