While many restaurants do just a lip service to Indian cuisine, Samudhra goes all nine yards to serve you sumptuous Gongura meat (you chose the type).While they still try serving North Indian dishes (Murg Dilliwala, Chicken Tikka), I wouldn’t be so enthusiastic with those. But those are small things and I would just suggest giving them a call to make sure they are open. Ambiance of his place is what you would expect. You are not going there for a 5 star luxury experience. This is a local family owned Indian spot with great food. It is very clean but it is not going to be on the cover of Restaurant Interiors anytime soon. Service was great. The gentleman apologized for the information being incorrect, was very polite and my food was ready on time. Now the Food. As my cohorts opened their containers every dish looked correct. Not too creamy, just enough Ghee floating on top. The consistency of each meal was what you would expect. Flavor was excellent, rice was fresh, we couldn't have asked for anything more. This will become our new Indian lunch spot moving forward.“

“We had a party in our backyard which included around 80 guests. Rottu kadai has a very good variety of dosas and each one of them tastes amazing. All our guests throughly enjoyed the experience of live dosa and the food. Kids especially had a lot of fun watching the making of and pizza and ice cream dosas and eating them. The event was put together very nicely by the owner Suggy and the decor and ambiance of the room was very special. The appetizers and dinner were very well made, fresh and tasty. “Previously the Hot Breads in Monroe, Currys & Cakes is under new ownership but remains an Indian bakery. The owners are very nice and helpful. One day I called asking if they had pav bhaji buns available and they didn't, but they asked me how many I needed and told me to come at a certain time because they had begun baking the bread. When I picked them up, the buns were still steaming hot and they remained hot once I arrived home. They were fluffy, soft, and delicious.
