The place is perfect. “I only drink regular ol' coffee, which is very very good here! Tastes great black or with a touch of milk, no sugar needed! I came right at 7am when they opened, everyone was pleasant and they were moving quick! Smelled divine. The ambiance was also super chill.“

“All my coffee beans come from Rook! Some of my coffee mugs, too. I have the kind of machine that grinds whole beans before pouring. Rook's Nicaragua and Guatemala are favorites. The staff are all so friendly. Lots of locations, too.“

“Forget the rest, AP is the best.
Don’t be fooled by new comer coffee shops in Asbury Park. If you want good fresh roasted coffee, look no further. Take the walk to 2nd Ave. The folks working are always kind and there is comfy seating if you want I stay. The iced coffee is god tier, probably the best I’ve ever had. Rich and flavorful but no bitterness. I’ve been coming here for years and have started bringing the beans home for when I’m not in town. I’ve ordered also from their website and deliver was fast and easy. Now when I have visitors at my home they remark at how good my coffee is, the best they say. I say yes, yes it is.“
