“Don't underestimate this place. I've been to 5 star restaurants and in my opinion this eatery shares some of the same qualities that I admire in upscale restaurants: consistency and deliciousness.

The people behind the register are friendly but quiet. I go here during week when I want something that is fresh and high in protein. They provide you with generous portions so if you workout and need a solid amount of protein and carbs this is my favorite in the area. I enjoy eating here more than Chipotle, higher quality meat with bolder flavors and they serve uniform portions of chicken. They don't cut corners here.

The chicken platter is my favorite and I highly recommend it to people wanting to try something new. With the chicken platter I enjoy the fresh zesty flavors of onions, tomatoes, crisp lettuce, and tzatziki sauce on the side. I recommend ordering an extra sauce with your order. WIth the colder months I'd also recommend the their lentil soup. It was really tasty!

Side note: I don't recommend the cheese burger. It's not their specialty. Stick with the chicken platter.“

I got the original chicken with rice platters and one chicken mix gyro wrap. Excellent and momma is really hard to please. We’re transplants from NYC and with NYC being at the top of the dining out / take home capital it is tough for many States and counties to compete with the flavor and cooking styles easily found in NYC just around every corner.

OMGRYRO easily hits all the marks with the exception of the Jerk Chicken. Jerk Chicken flavor profile is no bueno in my humble opinion and that is because it doesn’t come close to tasting like jerk seasoning and can’t compare to true jerk style flavor.

Everything else is we ordered and devoured tasted great, high on flavor with decent portion sizes.

Hope they put the Jerk Season flavor to the chicken NYC style.“

“The food was really good! I tried one of the gyros and I liked that you could customize it by chosing your choice of protein. My friend had tried the shrimp quesadilla and loved it as well. The day I went they had an event so I got a henna done :)“

Honestly it has been a long time since Ive gotten this kind of service in a food establishment. Coming from New York I’ve been wary about buying halal food from Rahway (where I live for 5 years) because a lot of food places have disappointed me in this very area. So I’ve bypassed this place for a long time. But today I’ve decided to stop in after reading its reviews and I have to say. I am pleasantly surprised the food is good and fresh the spice was perfect and the falafels were very good. I am so happy this place is close to home I will be in here often. “I ordered Chicken Biryani and Chicken Kabab through Uber Eats. After I ordered , I realized that I forgot to order Nan. So I called the restaurant and ask them that what can I do now. The person(probably the owner) replied , I will add Nan and whenever you visit, give me 2 Dollars. That was really a nice gesture which I will remember and must appreciate(along with the debt on me).
Talking about food, I had eaten many Biryanis in USA but it is one of the best real Pakistani biryani. Kababs were also fresh and tasty. I highly recommend those who want to have Halal and real Pakistani taste, must visit.“

“Food: A quality is great and generous portions for the price. The kathi rolls are loaded with tons of chicken tikka and still held together well after takeout. Their chicken seekh kebabs are flavorful and you can see them cooking inside the tandoor to get that nice char.

Staff/Service: A+ The owner and staff are great and very nice. We made edits and asked for some sides and they were so generous. Its easy to see the owner still has a passion for what he does and is happy to interact and see repeat customers.

Ambience: It’s meant for a takeout restaurant really so i dont think many ppl dine in.

“Humble seems to be the best word to summarize this restaurant. The men who run it seem to have a great rapport with their customers; they’ve been there for 20+ years and it shows. They were kind and accomodating. The food was plated carefully and was pretty taste. My only complaints were putting margarine on my pancakes without asking and the tiny plastic utensils, which left my hands covered in syrup. However both of those go to the restaurant being unpretentious. There’s no atmoshere to speak of but it was clean. I’d eat here again but probably wouldn’t go out of my way.“

“Bombay Paratha is an excellent spot for Pakistani brunch. The halwa poori is delicious, and both the mooli and keema parathas are top-notch, flavorful, and taste homemade. Everything we tried had that authentic, home-cooked feel. My only gripe is the name; calling it "Bombay Paratha" doesn’t quite fit, as something like "Lahori Paratha" or "Punjabi Paratha" would be more accurate. That aside, the food speaks for itself. “My first time customer experience: I only had the fried chicken wings (ordered for a Super Bowl party) and they were delicious! Everyone loved them. I would have liked them fried just a little harder so you'll have to make that request, if you're like me. My only issue was I called a few days in advance to understand the procedure when ordering a large quantity of wings. On the day to order, they completely switched up on me and made me come in to pick them up immediately and when I got there, they didn't have my order ready at the time they insisted I be there. Although, I dropped everything (cooking for the party) to get there at the time they told me. Upon arriving, I received attitude because I didn't leave a name, even though they never asked me. I ended up waiting another 30 mins for my order. It cost me 1.5 hours total and I was really late for my party. I will try not to hold this against them because it was really busy for them. “Food: Food was very good. It was me and my groups first time trying Mediterranean food. We loved it. The portions were amazing and surely made us all very full for the rest of the day. The spices and portions were all served greatly. 10/10
Service: Mohammad served us, he is a very funny guy. Knew how to keep a conversation while also keeping things professional and making us laugh. 10/10.
Atmosphere: Pretty simple inside. Just chairs and tables and the food serving bar. Still a very nice place.

“I am from Montclair but travel to Newark often for their chicken, mac and cheese, onion rings, pizza and shrimp. Yum. Their employees are wonderful. The restaurant is busy because their food is worth it. It is inappropriate for anyone to suggest that their location means they should sell their good food for cheap.“

There was no one in there when I first went in, but boy did that change quickly. About 5 minutes later, it was like a family gathering full of people who did not know one another, but we had one thing in common. WE LOVE THAT CHICKEN 😂!! Y'all, we talked about the chicken and how good it is. We even stayed until a fresh batch came out. We laughed and brought up memories of the 2 staff that were still there since our younger aging, me now 50. The point is to get there and get THAT CHICKEN!! “This place is a gem!! a must eat!! We found it through Uber Eats and ordered 1x. It was so good. The portions were amazing. Portions are like something grandma would serve her hungry kids. We visited and now I frequent it almost daily! Homefries platter is not for the faint of heart. You've got to have a hearty appetite or share it out. Grits platter...well...something of a southern treasure! Beef bacon egg and cheese sandwich is always a perfect on the run, goodie! We tried the shrimp over rice and that was nice. Chicken over rice was even better as it had a slight kick to it. And again, no matter what you order, bring a healthy appetite cause you're gonna need it and a long nap, after! These guys are amazing!! Truly! They're sweet! They're efficient! They can throw down on that gril!! Yummmmm Oh...and if you've never had it, their lemon ginger drink is amazeballs!! This place really is a gem in the middle of a jungle 😆 Visit them and be kind! Far too many ppl are not kind or feel entitled to speak to them ill mannered. Please don't! “After a tasty round of appetizers including tangy baked Fava beans, creamy smooth hummus, baba ghanoush and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside falafel, we feasted on two lamb dishes, one of which was perfectly grilled, and an order of couscous with vegetables. I still remember today how great everything tasted. Service was friendly and efficient and the decor included lamps and accessories imported from Morocco. Portions were generous and they provide containers for the leftovers. You can only eat so much! Highly recommended.“
