“Pietramala is an excellent restaurant deserves the accolades that it has achieved. The menu is curated well to share a variety of small plates and entrees and the recent addition of cocktails, wines, and local beers is certainly welcome! “We ate here for the first time and I think this is the best place I’ve ever eaten. The staff was super friendly, they were very accommodating to my gluten allergy, and the food portions were huge. I really enjoyed everything. I wish they would open a restaurant on the Florida Panhandle or honestly anywhere within 8 hours drive of us.“

“Philly's got some solid vegan restaurants but in my experience, this is the only one where Dr. Michael Greger may drop in to see Chef Alice and crash your lunch party. But that's not even my favorite part about this place — it's a cafe really devoted to the mission of nourishing health through good food. A lot of the meat-free restaurants in town serve tasty food but aren't exactly in the ballpark of WFPB — whereas Joy is looking to add years to your healthspan... without selling short on flavor! Alice is a quintessential crusader restaurateur. I also appreciate the gluten-free options, and I congratulate myself for the dignity I exhibited last visit when I abstained from eating the paper wrapper of my blueberry muffin in desperation to get every crumb down.“

“I've had two different meals here so far, and both were very good. I guess my only semi-gripe would be wanting more sauce. The staff that was present at both visits have been amazing, as well. Vegan and gluten-free, friendly to the max.
Vegetarian options: Vegan kitchen with no meat or animal products used.
Dietary restrictions: Everything is clearly labeled, and substitutions are available in any item.
Parking: Both times I went, there was plenty of available parking close by the entrances.“

“Everything's vegan, keep that in mind when ordering.
Got the plant protein bowl and thought it was just okay. Feels like all the bits of it were muted, or just oniony. Wished there was a little more green or something fresh feeling.
Soups were good. Buffalo wrap felt like it had better flavor, brighter? Bolder? than the protein bowl.
Clean and bright indoors. Came for pickup, so didn't stick around to enjoy the ambiance.“

“Everything was perfect from the moment I entered. The front host greeted me with a welcoming smile. I dined at the bar. My bartender was incredibly knowledgeable and walked me through a beautiful meal. Service was top notch. The team work was beautiful to watch. Great attention to detail. “4th Street Delicatessen is a one of a kind city deli with tons of history and character. We ordered the Zaftig pastrami sandwich on rye, and it was absolutely worth it — the pastrami was piled high, tender, and full of flavor, and the rye bread held everything together perfectly. The portions are generous, so definitely come hungry. The service was great. Keira was friendly, attentive, and welcoming, and they even gave complimentary cookies at the end, which was such a nice touch. Parking is tough, but that’s expected in the city. It is on the expensive side, but honestly, with the location and portion sizes, what can you expect? Overall, great food and great service.“

Whether I need a quick fresh-juiced drink or a midday superfoods boost, I know I can run right over to the Naked Lunch spot. With seasonal mixes, there’s always something new to try. I love getting the build your own bowl.

“My husband is a lifelong Texan and we recently moved to Philly from Austin and have been searching for good breakfast tacos to no avail, until we found Taco Heart. He loves the Troubadour and the Carrine’s Fave. They have excellent options for me as a vegetarian, too. The migas…chefs kiss! And we love the brrrchata.
But the real thing that makes them taste like home is the green jalepeno sauce. It’s impossible to find. But they make it perfectly!!“

“We didn’t get to eat at Zahav - but got the next big thing and ordered the Lamb Meal from gold belly with salatim. It was DELICIOUS!! Best lamb we have ever had, so delicious. Salads were yummy, hummus well done and could easily feed 6 adults. So. Much. Food. If you can’t make it to the restaurant- order the kit from Goldbelly and treat yourself!“

“We randomly found this place while visiting Philly and it was SO good! I got guacamole (it was GOOD and FRESH and NOT brown) I also got a steak tostada and a steak taco - the salsas are sooooo good the red one is spicy but me likely spicy so thumbs up. My friend got a veggie burrito and it was so good for her she threw it down in pure excitement! Also super support their lack of coke products <3.“
