“We have been coming to Sals for long long time. The food especially the Cheese Steak sandwich and fries are the best. When it’s cold outside Sal makes a pasta fagioli that’s out of this world. “The food here is outstanding & delicious! You must try the Sicilian Grandma's Pizza. The crust was amazing as is how they make a Sicilian slice of pizza. It's the right balance of crust and fresh ingredients without it being overpowered with dough. The salad we had was delicious too. ABSOLUTELY, so far, one of the best around.... This hole in a wall will surprise the s#$& out of you. Next time I will go for a full size pie and tell you how that goes....It will be interesting... I have been in places where I love there personal size and didn't like there full size....and let me add..... It was so good that I ate the personal Mushroom before I got home and I love down the road in Morristown... That's how good this wasI AM TELLING YOU if you like a crunch to your pizza, and you eat the whole slice.... This places personal pie is just for you....The two guys behind the counter was extremely nice... One had to be the owner, a bigger guy great personality and knew his stuff.... “Absolutely amazing experience there, went with my friends and overall everything was amazing. We ordered the garlic knots and there was 6 of us and only 6 garlic knots in the portion, our server who was the kindest ever gave us extra 🥺. Literally had the BEST service there I am not sure what the workers name is but whoever served us today I love you your the best!! He even took photos of us and the music there was so good. I really liked this one song that played and I said it out loud, im not sure if someone heard me but it played again and i was so happy!! “Carmine's is our go to place whenever we crave Italian or a cheesesteak. Husband and I were there yesterday for late lunch. Excellent pasta fagioli soup, huge slices of pizza, and overstuffed, cheesesteak. Great service and reasonable prices. We were informed there is an extra charge if you're not paying cash. This is becoming a common practice and we were informed of it. Server was excellent and made us feel welcome. I was asked if I knew of any pizza parlors served gluten free and of course I recommended Carmine's.“

It seems lazy and a bit rude/odd. Besides the staff not being super nice.. the plain pizza does not get better than Antimos in Randolph. Best in NJ. Make sure you ask them not to overcook it. Tastes best when lightly cooked then heated up at home.

The thinner than average crust at Bella's stood out to me even then, but still feels true to NJ Style pizza which I strictly classify and golden brown and crispy crust/bottom which achieves those wonderful golden brown micro bubbles.
