“Five’s all around for this amazing pizza! We have ordered whole pies and sometimes simply a whole mess of slices. Each time it’s delish! The owner & staff are so friendly & helpful. It’s a cozy seating area….which would earn a “5” if there were a few more booths! Give it a try….you won’t be disappointed ❤️🍕“

“Definitely a hidden gem. Came in on a whim because I saw good reviews and was on the hunt for a good slice to go. There were several pizza options in the display and ready to order which I love about a pizza spot. I ordered a Sicilian sausage/red pepper, pepperoni hot honey and a white slice. I would have stayed to eat at one of the few small tables but the baby was in the car. The pizza looked so amazing I ate some right in the parking lot it did not disappoint. The crust on the Sicilians was perfect and flavor was delicious. White pie was also simple and perfect. Can’t wait to try the cheese!

It was great to meet and interact directly with the owner, Paul. He explained how he bought the business from his parents and has been in his family for decades with roots in Brooklyn and Italy. He even threw in a free cheese slice because he knew I was a new customer! Nice guy and love to see the passion for a small family business. In my short time there, Monday afternoon, several people came in to order to sit and for takeout which said to me they have a good customer base which is a good sign.

Moving to Roxbury from Bergen County a few years ago we still haven’t quite settled on our favorite pizza spot yet. I’d say this is in the running for our favorites and we will be back!!

Excellent pasta fagioli soup, huge slices of pizza, and overstuffed, cheesesteak. Great service and reasonable prices. We were informed there is an extra charge if you're not paying cash. This is becoming a common practice and we were informed of it. Server was excellent and made us feel welcome. “Best pizza in the area. Hands down. The staff is not so friendly. The owner and her staff/daughter always park in the best parking spots in the parking lot. I would think/hope for a restaurant that makes lots of money on take out orders, they would consider the convenience of their customers and not park in the 2 prime spots (next to the walkway and next to the handicapped spot). It seems lazy and a bit rude/odd. Besides the staff not being super nice.. the plain pizza does not get better than Antimos in Randolph. Best in NJ. Make sure you ask them not to overcook it. Tastes best when lightly cooked then heated up at home.

“Really great slice. I started visiting Chester 25 years ago as a young kid. The thinner than average crust at Bella's stood out to me even then, but still feels true to NJ Style pizza which I strictly classify and golden brown and crispy crust/bottom which achieves those wonderful golden brown micro bubbles. I'm normally skeptical of pizza joints which use a mesh tray to cook, however this place is quite the exception. The mesh tray might be their secret to that really awesome bake on their crust.“
