“This review is solely based on pizza as it is the only thing we ordered. Mine was the chicken and broccoli alfredo. It was excellent. My husband had a cheese steak pizza and he said it was only okay but feels the issue was that lettuce wilts in heat, so they use too much cheese to create a buffer. With less cheese and no lettuce he would have liked it better. He'd try a different slice but certainly still go back. Mine was excellent, so I'd still give it an A+ for pizza and I'd certainly come back again. Is it particularly fancy? No. Lighting could be better. But I'm just here for a quick slice so it doesn't matter very much. The young employees were very nice as well.“

“this is definitely the best pizza shop in swedesboro! i've been coming here forever and they have the highest quality pizza in the town. the wings & mega fries are also great. i also love that they play music and they're always having fun :) only issue i have is wait time, which sometimes ends up being 10-15 minutes longer than said, but they handle it well. they also don't deliver, so we always just pick up instead. but love ray's! :)“

“We have been driving to Cape May from Quakertown for decades, 20+ years ago and about halfway was Vesuvio Ristorante, so we stopped in to grab a bite. I was greeted by Robert the owner. The guy truly appreciates your business and understands you have choices! Robert knew we were either opening or closing our summer home and he was always easy to have a conversation with. They are the definition of a hard-working American family and business owners.“

“Back in 2020 my husband and I moved from Deptford to Swedesboro so we had to find a new local pizza spot. We have tried every pizza spot around the area and nothing lives up to Mama Francesca Pizza's. The customer service has always been top tier and friendly. We're all human so there's been times where once in a blue moon they might forget our cup of cheese with the cheese fries. They are always happy to solve the issue and apologize, never an attitude. The food overall is absolutely amazing, not once in the last 2 and half years have we ever been disappointed.We bring a lot of friends over from out of town and Mama Francesca's is our go to for parties and hang outs. All our friends always compliment the pizza.Also to add on, they always super timely. We go to pick up and the order is always done quicker than the pizza shops we used to frequent.“

“Finally stopped in after hearing good things about the pizza. It is a good pizza. Tight, thin crust with a good crisp. Flavor is on point. I would rate this pie a 7.7. I consider that to be a reputable score, as most DelCo pizza is in the 6's. I also got a cheesesteak. Also very good! Flavor of this steak is superb. Balanced amount of meat, cheese, onion. It's not huge, but this steak, an order of fries, and a drink, you will leave full. The staff are friendly, and everything looks clean. I mean, it is a shed basically. But a very clean shed. Lol. Prices are also very, very reasonable. Definitely worth a try!“

Today, it's Joe's, and they did not disappoint!!! Highly recommend to any visitor and other locals. The test of good pizza is the point folds off the plate and it leaves a nice red oily stain on the paper plate...both were spot perfect...the crust was perfect, the cheese was gooey and flavor top notch. if I work in the area tomorrow, it's calzone or stromboli!!“

“Another trucker review here. If you’re staying at the TA across the street for the day or resetting this is definitely a nice place to hit up. Food was good and so was the beer (and I’m not a huge beer person honestly). Prices are pretty average compared to larger establishments like BJ’s Brewhouse. Bartender was friendly and did a good job keeping up with checking on everyone at the bar regularly. If I ever wind up back at the TA across the street for a reset I’m definitely coming back.“

“Absolutely delicious plain cheese pizza tonight.

I cannot tell you how dull and tasteless and swamped with greese so many of the "New York style" pies there are in this part of Delco, but Apetidos is definitely the exception. Very good pizza. For whatever reason I haven't ordered often from here, but that's going to change!

The sauce and cheese actually have distinct flavor! Who knew??!? Love the hint of garlic and the appropriate amount of cheese/sauce on a plain large. Thank you and keep up the good work!“

“We moved to the area 2 years ago and couldn't really find a stand out pizza place. We didn't know about this place at first because they don't deliver but we got recommended by some friends. “Sooo, I don’t leave reviews for most businesses, good or bad, BUT I have to make an exception for Emilio’s! Who doesn’t like a good pie!? I’m a southern transplant to the area due to my job and I have left behind many (delicious) southern food staples. Trying to find replacements in the area has been hard, to say the least. But when in doubt, there is always pizza! I accidentally stumbled across Emilio’s while searching for a place in DelCo to find a realllllly good pizza without having to travel across the Delaware into NJ. Emilio’s fits the bill. It’s not too thin, it’s not too thick, the sauce amount is just right and it’s crunchy and just tastes plain good. The plus to the pizza is that, the customer service is always top notch, but that may also be because I have had the pleasure to interact with Emilio himself each time? What a swell guy, and for a southerner living (sort of up north) here, finding a warm inviting smile and personable service seems to be a rarity (no offense to the locals, of course!).
