Just wanted to say thank you for the excellent food for our recent party. The guests were all commenting how delicious and well prepared the food was. It was also more food than we expected, and was very well packed for transport. We’ve enjoyed the experience of dining at Sofia’s, and now also the catered g experience.
My husband and I took my son for the first time. He enjoyed the atmosphere and lived his steak fajitas. I had my usual blackened chicken tacos and my husband got the enchiladas with the mole sauce. Everything was fresh.
Very happy with the service. The atmosphere is very friendly. All employees treated us well. Kenneth our waiter was especially attentive. He is very friendly and eager to serve us. Will be returning here often

Sofia's Taqueria in Toms River is a popular restaurant with a great atmosphere. The place is nicely decorated both inside and out. Service is friendly and attentive, and the staff is talented. Guests say the food and drinks are terrific, with the tacos being flavorful and fresh, the birria juicy and packed with flavor, and the margaritas dangerous in the best way. The prices are in range, not cheap but not crazy either. The 4 to 6pm food and drinks specials are great. Overall, it's an absolute gem, perfect for a chill night out or a casual date spot, and highly recommended for those in the Toms River area.
