“I saw this place while driving . I wanted to try authentic Yemeni coffee. I tried Sana’ani coffee which is medium roast coffee with cardamom. I enjoyed this exotic taste. Store is clean and comfortable. Staff is knowledgeable about coffee. They offer authentic Yemeni desserts and America and desserts. They also nice selection of exotic teas.“

“Great coffee, We stopped at Roast’d coffee shop before heading to NYC, great experience; the pour over coffee was fantastic. Johan was quite friendly explaining different coffee beans as he roasted them and brews the coffee. I tried the espresso as well brewed from 3 different beans, very tasty. Now this is our favorite place to have coffee when traveling to NYC. We talked with local customers, so good vibes and recommendations. Awesome place if you love good coffee.“

“This is a pleasant addition to town, and obviously quite popular. I only gave 2 stars for food because despite having a collection of 3 nondairy milks (75 cent upcharge not appreciated!) there is not a single food item a vegan or person with dairy issues can eat. Also, the only place you can sit and work on a device is the big table, which is usually full. Every other sitting area has tables that are the same height or lower than the chairs/stools so really not back friendly. Service is good and nice minimalist vibe-- will be back!

Response to owner: Regarding vegan pastries, if they are indeed vegan (dairy, egg, butter honey free) then why not label them as such or at least put up a little sign that says ask us about our vegan options?“

“Went for the first time yesterday to do homework and I was pleasantly surprised! The turmeric latte was exactly what I wanted on a chilly morning and the eggo sando on a croissant was delicious ? there’s lot of cute seating areas inside and out, and the decor is super cute. I also tried the matcha cucumber and loved it so much I went back today to get another and pick up some croissants. Yesterday they were pretty busy and the person working, Carlos (who was alone at the time) had really great customer service and my drink and food came out so quick every time. Today, way more busy and more people working and still my drink came out really quick! Been telling my friends and family about this place!“

“I am a local from New Jersey now living in Germany, came back to visit and was in the mood for a Poke Bowl. I have to say I have been to many poke places and this is THE BEST ONE. Everything tastes fresh. I love that you have many options on creating your bowl. I also had a taro bubble tea and it was delicious! Employees are very friendly and welcoming. The drinks are great , with no complaints.
The snacks are lovely and The vibe is a lil funky, weird colors (purple and green). But i do enjoy the fact that once i walk in I dont hear much of the outside.
The business is new and has potential.

“deans is a fantastic little coffee shop in Pearl River. It’s beautiful and DELICIOUS and is one of my favorite (new) things about my old hometown. It feels perfectly modern for a small town and the vibes are perfection for a coffee shop. The guy barista doesnt love to talk or smile lol, but he makes BEAUTIFUL lattes and they taste like heaven. For a small space its not impossible to find a table (dont know about peak times though). Prices are average for fancy coffees, but they taste amazing. Pastry selection is far above average- lots of great choices and MANY gluten free, which surprises me and makes me happy for people with celiac out there who can never indulge at coffee shops. I love the vast array of options for different coffees and teas too, a lot for such a small space. Lastly, I like the little display of local goods they have for sale; it’s fun and feels like it also supports the local community which is nice.

Dietary restrictions: there’s lots of gluten free pastries!!!!!

Parking: go park near the library and enjoy a little walk across the field; it’s free for 2-4 hours and you got a walk (5 min) to enjoy your pastry 😁

Kid-friendliness: they seem to not mind when a table of kids comes in to gossip and play at being grown ups without ordering and just sitting and talking, which is kind of sweet?

Wheelchair accessibility: i think there is a step up inside so not wheelchair accessible. if you can get in that step, the bathroom is large and roll-in-able.“

“Just like there is no place like home, there isn't a restaurant quite like the Soup Maison. Delicious food, cozy atmosphere, and phenomenal workers (both in and out of the kitchen) -- what more could be asked for? The tomato tortellini soup, buffalo chicken empanadas, and Nelly's Delight can't be found the same anywhere else! Fair Lawn locals are lucky to have such a spot nearby. Can't stop recommending this place!“

“I dont usually leave reviews, but Haus is an EASY exception. In short, from the atmosphere to some of the most incredible and kind hearted staff you’ll meet to one of the best coffees you’ll ever have, this place truly feels like a home. Every time I go, whether it’s at the Fairlawn or Ridgewood location, the staff never fails to make me smile and their coffee is really to die for. I’m a coffee fanatic and have tried countless places in the Bergen County area, Boston (where I live/go to school), and across the Bay Area/NorCal (where I was born and raised) and when I say Haus is one of my favorite coffee shops ever, you have to believe how insanely good it is. You really cannot go wrong with any single coffee you get (though I do personally LOVE the love affair and the matcha). They’re also very considerate about any coffee accommodations and/or specific modifications you might want. I could go on and on, but there are very few places I would recommend this highly. “WOW! Best Dunkin ever! Orders are consistently correct. Employees are so friendly they make your day. So sweet!

Parking: Be careful parking as it gets busy at times. Gas station shares the lot with them. I would order ahead on app then use drive-tnru.

“My only complaint is that the lone worker today, when I was paying with a credit card (without tap) took my card and tried to use tap. Before she took my card I was going to put it into the card processor. When I pointed out that it doesn’t have tap, she (2x’s) typed my card information into the register screen and it was declined (plenty of credit was available because I got gas with it shortly after). I then used my debit card which she just took from me and again tried to use tap (again not a feature on that card either). She was finally able to put my card information for the debit card and it went through. If she had let me put my card in in the first place there would have been no problem with the original transaction attempt. I feel some of the staff might need better/more training on using the register.“

My nine year old daughter loves the mango fruit tea with mango popping bubbles. The owners are super nice and very hospitable and the place is very cozy. “This place is pretty great. It's owned by a small family, Everytime I've come I always see the mom working, and sometimes the daughter. They have a wide selection of snacks to grab, whether it be cake or one of their made goods like a croquet or the boba. Would definitely recommend, my one negative aspect would be the music taste. It's a bit tacky and old, but not bad enough to not come.“
