“The employees know their customers. They start pouring your coffee, knowing what size you order, as you are getting out of the car. This location, is extremely spotless. The person in charge of keeping it clean, is constantly cleaning the floor, wiping the windows and doors clean, picking up any litter outside and around the building.“

“I saw this place while driving . I wanted to try authentic Yemeni coffee. I tried Sana’ani coffee which is medium roast coffee with cardamom. I enjoyed this exotic taste. Store is clean and comfortable. Staff is knowledgeable about coffee. They offer authentic Yemeni desserts and America and desserts. They also nice selection of exotic teas.“

“This is a pleasant addition to town, and obviously quite popular. I only gave 2 stars for food because despite having a collection of 3 nondairy milks (75 cent upcharge not appreciated!) there is not a single food item a vegan or person with dairy issues can eat. Also, the only place you can sit and work on a device is the big table, which is usually full. Every other sitting area has tables that are the same height or lower than the chairs/stools so really not back friendly. Service is good and nice minimalist vibe-- will be back!

Response to owner: Regarding vegan pastries, if they are indeed vegan (dairy, egg, butter honey free) then why not label them as such or at least put up a little sign that says ask us about our vegan options?“

“Went for the first time yesterday to do homework and I was pleasantly surprised! The turmeric latte was exactly what I wanted on a chilly morning and the eggo sando on a croissant was delicious ? there’s lot of cute seating areas inside and out, and the decor is super cute. I also tried the matcha cucumber and loved it so much I went back today to get another and pick up some croissants. Yesterday they were pretty busy and the person working, Carlos (who was alone at the time) had really great customer service and my drink and food came out so quick every time. Today, way more busy and more people working and still my drink came out really quick! Been telling my friends and family about this place!“

“I dont usually leave reviews, but Haus is an EASY exception. In short, from the atmosphere to some of the most incredible and kind hearted staff you’ll meet to one of the best coffees you’ll ever have, this place truly feels like a home. Every time I go, whether it’s at the Fairlawn or Ridgewood location, the staff never fails to make me smile and their coffee is really to die for. I’m a coffee fanatic and have tried countless places in the Bergen County area, Boston (where I live/go to school), and across the Bay Area/NorCal (where I was born and raised) and when I say Haus is one of my favorite coffee shops ever, you have to believe how insanely good it is. You really cannot go wrong with any single coffee you get (though I do personally LOVE the love affair and the matcha). They’re also very considerate about any coffee accommodations and/or specific modifications you might want. I could go on and on, but there are very few places I would recommend this highly. Regular spot for me. I love their iced coffee, whether it’s winter or summer that’s the go-to drink. Their gluten-free lemon blueberry loaf is SUPERB. And so are their fig power energy balls. They have a delicious raspberry iced tea during warmer days, try it!

The service..
The guy behind the counter is very nice and cool. Always great conversations and service.

The place..
It’s a small spot but it’s nice. Bathroom is always clean. Bench outside, thumbs up.

Parking..
Have to pay for it but that has nothing to do with them. Just thought I’d put it out there.

“My only complaint is that the lone worker today, when I was paying with a credit card (without tap) took my card and tried to use tap. Before she took my card I was going to put it into the card processor. When I pointed out that it doesn’t have tap, she (2x’s) typed my card information into the register screen and it was declined (plenty of credit was available because I got gas with it shortly after). I then used my debit card which she just took from me and again tried to use tap (again not a feature on that card either). She was finally able to put my card information for the debit card and it went through. If she had let me put my card in in the first place there would have been no problem with the original transaction attempt. I feel some of the staff might need better/more training on using the register.“

Parking: Be careful parking as it gets busy at times. Gas station shares the lot with them. I would order ahead on app then use drive-tnru.

My nine year old daughter loves the mango fruit tea with mango popping bubbles. The owners are super nice and very hospitable and the place is very cozy.
