“This is hands down my favorite soul food spot in the tristate area! I come here often, and the food never misses — it’s always hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The staff treats you like family, and the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. If I could eat here every day, I absolutely would!
Just look at my picture — the proof is in the plate! The portion sizes are generous (I always leave with leftovers), and the way everything is plated shows real care. You can truly feel the love in every bite.

“I just left Ila Mae’s and was very pleased with the food and service. I am a foodie so I got shrimp and grits with cheese, chicken and waffles, spinach omelet with bacon…my tummy was happy! Of course I have food left to take home to enjoy later. I found this restaurant online and was a little skeptical because I am not from the area.I will be returning❤️“

“Hole in the wall. Not about service. Its cheap fish fry. Not English style but Soul Food style. Sometimes can be a little too fishy, but overall 8/10 times its OK. $10 gets you a huge portion. Recommend: flounder and fry's. If you ask for any variations they can be touchy unless you make it clear you're willing to pay for any difference. Absolutely no diet drinks here.“

“I ordered a PB&J French toast. It comes with wings and sauce of your choice. I chose the honey buffalo sauce. The perfect combo of sweet and savory. Then my sweet tooth decided to kick in when I heard about their cupcakes. I bought a strawberry crunch cake cupcake. 10/10 would recommend!“

“We found this place through a youtube video and we were not disappointed the lady at the counter was super sweet. The mac and cheese was really good. The oxtails omg!! So tender the corn bread was the best I've gotten from any restaurant. They even gave me corn bread for my son's to try and they were not disappointed we will definitely be back again. Worth the 45min drive!“
