“Really excellent food.Pao de queijo was solidPasteis were flavorful and had a great texture, beef was the favorite there.I've had feijoada a few times and honestly never liked it, but I tried it here since our server said it was one of the best things on the menu - she was not lying. Meaty, really well seasoned, and the beef was super tender. The one thing i will say is that the tables are pretty small. I wanted to eat family style with my friend but it was made very difficult by the fact that the two plates take up a solid 70% of the table.Great experience though, best Brazilian food I've had“

“This place is amazing, the first thing you notice when you enter is the neatness and the cleanliness of the place, we were welcomed by the waiters and got seated right away.We ordered the platers that bring steak, rice, beans, salad etc, just amazing. We also tried the steak sandwich which was delicious, and finished with dessert brigadeiro unbelievable, you could taste the freshness of them just the perfect texture and not too sweet. We finished with digestivos and after all that food and desserts you dont feel bloated or heavy at all. They also serve beer.Service was great very attentive and friendly.“

“My curiosity led me to Sabor Unido in the Ferry Street area after reading all the rave reviews. Wanting to see if it lived up to the hype, I convinced my brothers and their families to join me for a dinner outing.I started with the Grilled Octopus, and it was fantastic! The Calamari appetizer was delicious as well. My wife and I both ordered the Hanger Steak – a nice change of pace for this Rib Eye enthusiast – and it was incredibly flavorful and tender. My side of sweet plantains and fried Yucca was a delightful surprise. We skipped dessert since my brother brought a cake for the celebration, so I can't speak to those. Overall, the service was great, the food was excellent, and I'd highly recommend Sabor Unido.“

“My wife and I have been there twice already 2 Sundays in the row.For me, being Brazilian, we get the Brazilian roots flavors.I've been living in Bay Ridge and have never had before about this place.I was amazed with fried sausage with fried yuca, Brazilian chicken balls, Brazilian bread cheese felling with cream cheese, and Brazilian beef empanadas for apps then for main course I had the picanha as know as top sirloin and my wife had bobo de camarao as know shrimp in coconut sauce on pumpkin“

“I saw this place listed on a website for best cheap eats and I can see why. This is an inexpensive Brazilian buffet that charges by the pound. I have been to several of these types of places in Astoria. Like those ones, in addition to the regular buffet offerings, they have a churrascaria option where you can choose cuts of grilled meat that raises the price. However, I found the regular buffet to be excellent as it is.Some of the items being offered were: maduros, fried chicken, beef brisket, rice and beans, seafood rice, fried fish, stewed fish, farofa, oxtail, spaghetti, salads, and much more. I though the brisket and fried chicken meat were especially moist and juicy.“

“This was a very neat cafe that focused on Brazilian flavors. I will say I thought the food may have over shadowed the beverages but I also don't drink coffee so don't hang on my word there. I got a matcha latte I've had better but obviously I don't think that's what this place specializes in so I think it can be forgiven. I had the a croissant sandwich and my lady had these prosciutto sandwiches (sorry I don't know the exact names) they we're both outstanding albiet maybe on the pricey side but you're in the seaport district so it's to be expected.“

“Food is delicious, staff is very nice and the service was excellent. The pastéis, especially the heart of palm ones. were a hit as an appetizer. We enjoyed the Moqueca and the picanha a cavalo. If you’re Brazilian like me and miss food that tastes like home, come here. The waiter Dino was so friendly!“

“This place get packed easily due to the good and tasty food they provide.Amazing to see the big selection they have for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I believe they are the only one that offers a self service buffet breakfast. If you have been there for breakfast yet you missing out.A family business that have been in Astoria for years serving the community and making us Brazilian happy.“

“Solid array of classic Brazilian meats. I got the rodizio- Was told there was 14 meats by the waiter but did not get to experience this full array since many of the same cuts were brought out 2-3x. Salad bar is small but decent- definitely not as expansive as larger chains but that’s not why you’re here anyway!Steak was well cooked with good flavor though- some cuts more well done than others. Picanha is definitely the best ? overall for the price compared to larger chains- definitely a solid choice“

“Recently had the pleasure of dining at this Brazilian buffet where you pay by the weight, a concept that truly sets it apart. The standout dish for me was the five-flower pork, which was absolutely delicious, succulent, and seasoned to perfection. What caught my attention the most was the extremely fair pricing, making it an excellent value for money, especially given the quality of food on offer. The authenticity of the flavors is unquestionable, and knowing that the owner hails from Brazil adds that touch of genuineness to the whole experience.I left the restaurant with a mental note to return soon, especially to delve into their dessert offerings. This is a must-visit for anyone looking for bona fide Brazilian flavors without breaking the bank. Highly recommended!“

“I had a good time visiting this place. I really got a taste of Brazil having dinner there, I was with my friends, and it was a great party. The waiter Junior is very friendly and attentive, he is very nice and made our group feel at home. If you go there, ask to be attended by him, although everyone is very friendly. My only complaint is that the place was a little hot.“

“This place is on the intimate side, which I didn’t like completely. The food was good here! I recommend the French toast and the fried chicken. My friend ordered a medium steak and it was way too chewy but it was good she said. Cocktails were also good. The waiter was very helpful and friendly. I would go back again!“

“Came here for Valentines Day with my family- 2 adults and 3 kids. Great atmosphere and loved the decor. The staff was very friendly and very attentive. The food was the best, we started with some appetizers and for our main dish we had the churrasco and the rib dish. My kids devoured their plates. We will definitely be coming back and I definitely recommend this place. Very kid friendly as well.“

“The main part of the restaurant was extremely loud. We sat in the outer patio area that was totally closed in and heated. We were the only ones out there was extremely quiet the ambiance was fantastic. The waiter was great. And we can't say enough good about the food. Strongly recommend this place! Now if you want to sit in the main restaurant it's a small bistro feel and it's very energetic“

“We love to go out. Yesterday we came to this magnificent restaurant which we didn’t know before. We had a lovely time there with high-qulity food and a nice crew and a professional chief cook. We put this venue in our phone list and we shall definitely return soon. We highly recommend.“

“This is a no frills but authentic Brazilian restaurant. There is a self serve buffet where you help yourself and you are charged based on the weight. The buffet includes selections such as feijoada, farofa, chicken, spaghetti, rice and beans, hard boiled eggs, and many more. There is a large salad bar area too with a good mix of vegetables. The feijoada is a must try.And for a little extra money, you can get grilled churrascaria meats such as steak, sausage and chicken. I thought the sausage was especially tasty. I have been to other Brazilian places in Queens that are similar such as Aroma and Villa Brazil. Like some of the other places, some of the buffet selections here seemed a little old and dry but it's to be expected from a buffet. Overall, you still get good value for your money.“

“Came around opening on a Thursday and there was nobody at the restaurant, but it got much busier as the night progressed. The restaurant accommodates both small and large groups and seems to be a great date spot. They have happy hour with some drinks and small appetizers – we got the chicken wings (tastes OK) but felt like we could have skipped it. They have a large menu selection but we opted for the pork belly ssam (available Thu-Sun), kimichi fried rice and the picanha fatiada (steak). All of the food was decent, but nothing great enough for me to want to come back. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful though, so if you want a place with great service and vibes, this would be the spot.“

“Excellent food, but terrible service. I was mistreated and humiliated. People management is essential in building and maintaining a company's brand. Regarding this unit, the guidance is that the team be analyzed. But please don't forget to try the delicious sandwiches, they are of excellent quality!“

“I tried this place at the Bryant Park Winter Village. I had the chicken coxinha, it was so good! It brought a sauce that took the dish to another level. Now that I’ve seen there are multiple locations here in Brooklyn definitely visiting. The starts for atmosphere were because the winter village was crowded insanely! I’ve tried this dish before from an authentic Brazilian home, and the ones I tried here lived up to it. You should give it a try!“

“First time going to Beija Flor and you have to go! This cute and lively restaurant left the best impressions! All the meals ordered were to die for and melted in our mouths. From the grilled salmon with vegetables, to the burger, to the mixed green salad with grilled shrimp, to the shrimp with garlic sauce, and the yuca fries, everything was *chef's kiss* mouth-watering!Service was excellent! The servers were efficient and polite. Cícero was hands-down such a hospitable, welcoming, accommodating, and friendly host! Our party went to celebrate a birthday and he came out with a candle sparkler on the most delicious and creamiest flan while the band sang "Happy Birthday" in Portuguese!Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Long Island City. It was such a short and easy walk from the E Queens Plaza train station. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience. I recommend it to everyone!“

“Took the family out to eat for my father-in-law's birthday . We sat down and were taken care of quite quickly. They brought over some bread with a olive oil, red pepper flake, salt and pepper combo to dip the bread that was delicious. Everyone ordered their food and were surprised how big the portions were. Me on the other hand had the rodizio which was excellent all the meats were delicious best money spent. The staff was super friendly and attentive to all our needs and it's a place i recommend to anyone who want to have a great dining experience. “I’ve been to Villa Brazil a couple of times, and I’m always surprised by how good it is. Not often would I say I’ve enjoyed buffets, but they do something different here. You might not always know what it is exactly that you’re getting as you dish yourself a plate a food, but you’ll always enjoy it.Also, DO NOT sleep on their cakes. Somehow this place not only has good buffet food, but they also have a huge selection of unique cakes that are delicious and surprisingly moist. Make sure you get a slice or two for at the end of your meal, or just to take home for later.“

“Very interesting place. We came here for late lunch early dinner. We tried to read the menu online, but it was in Portuguese. Apparently, they dont have a menu in English. Also, they only have a menu online. But later we saw that other guests, probably those who speak Portuguese, they have paper with a menu where they mark what they will eat. I find it very interesting not to have a menu in English in New Jersey. But this was not the only surprise that we experienced. We ordered two different platters, and apparently, everything was with salmon, just differently prepared salmon. Raw salmon, coocked salmon, salmon wrapped in rice, rice wrapped in salmon, salmon on top of rice, rice with cream cheese, and salmon on top. Well. It is a very weirs sushi to be honest, where mainly everything is salmon. We also had kani salad and chicken dumplings..it was the only different dish that did not have a salmon. Of course, since we dont speak Portuguese, we could not understand the menu, but i did see in there octopus and shrimp, but it was a separate dish, not sushi. Also, from the drinks, they only serve sodas. But despite all that, food was good, but it was the most expensive sushi, that we ever had without a very big variety.“

“Got delivery for a Portuguese sandwich with fries and a potato empanada. Food was excellent. Sandwich was a bit smaller than I was expecting but the flavor train was real. I thought I was getting 2 empanadas per order (from menu pic) but it's only 1. Was very good but a bit pricier than I'd like. Fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly. I'm looking forward to trying more of the menu and dining inside.“

“Great food, good people but the other reviews about watch your check are accurate. Would be much better if they just told you they were adding 18% to your check (it was a 2 person table, automatic gratuity not assumed). Quick to resolve but still, why be shady?“
