“I liked the ordering with kiosk option where you could view pictures and customize your orders easily. I chose the Koba bowl. The portion size shocked me! My bowl looked like a mountain. It was satisfying to have that much food and a variety of stuff in only one bowl. Both food and service were amazing! With any order it also comes with a Korean snack of your choice.“

The price per person is relatively fair compared to other places but I feel like you get fewer options for the Lunch menu. Normally, I would prefer more options but this time I liked having fewer options since I ordered more of the same meats. Rice, side dishes, dipping sauces, and fresh lettuce are all included in the AYCE. Drinks are not.“

“My wife's German grandma loves this place, and often treats us to the family style special. The food is good (certainly the best BBQ you can get in NYC) and the service is always excellent. It does tend to get busy and loud, sometimes louder than is comfortable, but it's always a good time. We went once for lunch, and since it wasn't as busy, that was the best experience we had there. Prices are pretty good, especially for Manhattan. Always have a great time here and love to get good BBQ even this far north!Kid-friendliness: A bit loud for kids, but they put out a coloring page with crayons. Step into this place and it’s as you’re transported to a restaurant at a fancy Seoul neighborhood. Dinner for 3 cost us $150 which was great value given the quality, atmosphere and service provided. For example, one of our dish was grilled clams and we were blown away by their size. They were gigantic, abundant and FRESH! The patrons were all locals and some families. Will definitely return.Parking: The restaurant has a free parking lot. There's also paid/unpaid (depending on the day/time) street parking, right in front of the restaurant.“

My favorite may have been the seafood pancake and the side of squash though. The bottle's of soju just added to the whole experience. I have no reservation recommending this place. Staff is super attentive and friendly as well.If it's your first time, definitely try out the dry age pork tasting. I've also eaten at a handful of KBBQ joints at NJ and although this isn't all you can eat, I left Don Don feeling just as full and satisfied. “A little earlier like an hour and a half ago I went to dinosaur bbq and got their 2 meat combo with 2 sides... I got the prime brisket and pork belly plus sides of mac n cheese and BBQ beans with pork... all of it was delicious. The brisket and pork belly had a great smoky taste to it plus rich savory taste. The beans was also good too and the Mac n cheese wasn't bad. I actually got full eating half the stuff.“

“After visiting the Museum of Moving Image in Astoria we walked up the block and had a nice lunch at Pig Beach BBQ. My husband and I split the sampler platter which we both enjoyed. My favorite was the pulled pork and my husband’s favorite was the ribs.We were both surprised that it was more of a cafeteria style set up instead of sit down. To me that was probably the only drawback. But it was a very laid back casual atmosphere which a lot of people may find appealing.“

The transportation is very convenient in Manhattan's Chinatown, and you can also choose to order hot pot or barbecue a la carte. There are many varieties and the service is very attentive. “My son said "Blue Smoke has the best brisket in NYC and maybe even TX too" I agree with him. The seasoning is perfect, the meat is super tender and moist, it just melts in your mouth, and we loved their homemade tortilla chips. It was our first time trying it. We started making bites with layers of mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, a piece of brisket w/their delicious sauce on top of their homemade tortilla chip, and to top it off, we would add a calbee hokkaido butter chip so both sides would be crunchy with savory gooey perfection in between. It's difficult to find a better bite and now we want to order it again now.“

“We ate here for a late lunch. We had the hotpot and bbq. The restaurant was clean and modern. We had a language barrier with our waitress but that didn’t make the experience bad and we were able to get all we wanted by the photos on the menu. We got 4 different individual hotpot’s to try. They were good but the vegetable one I was not a fan of but would be perfect for a vegetarian. The food was delicious and I would eat here again when we come back to visit again. This is a must try place.“

“It was a really nice experience with all of my friends last night. We went out as a group of six and made a reservation ahead of time. I like that the menu was on the phone and so that we could continuously see the menu so that we could keep ordering food when we wanted to. I love the all you can eat, and some of the little special items on the menu or a great addition as well. It was really busy but the ambience was nice. I’ve been to the one in Brooklyn and now I’ve been to the one in Chinatown Manhattan and both experiences were really great and I enjoyed both times out.“
“This is a restaurant that I rushed into after seeing a picture of fried rice and dried tofu on the way to the soft tofu restaurant! I ordered braised ribs and shrimp and it was so delicious! The braised ribs were seasoned, the meat was very soft and the portions were plentiful, and the fried rice and corn cheese were delicious, but the dried shrimp were too hard and the shrimp were not whole, so I didn't like it. The side dishes at this place are so delicious! Salted squid, kimchi, fish cake, and salad. It’s been a while since I enjoyed Korean food so much! I think the price is just right. “I couldn't take a picture because I was busy eating. The best raw ribs I've had since coming to the US! It's extremely delicious. People who like meat will like thicker meat. The meat is thick and soft, has a good chew and is full of juice. Not a single flaw. It's not a soju restaurant, it's a rib restaurant. Lastly, I enjoyed the clam sauna and ate kalguksu (noodle soup) in cool clam soup. It's been 7-8 years since I stopped eating kalguksu, cold noodles, and japchae to cut out carbohydrates, but this soup isn't one I can tolerate because it's low in carbohydrates. The Arroz Chaufa, Grilled Chicken, and Fries that my family ordered were the best of the best. If I could give this Restaurant more than 5 stars, I would.
