“Fantastic meal and fantastic overall experience sitting at the chefs counter. Highly recommend the Wagyu and uni supplements as well as the abalone extra course. For some reason they gave us our check well before we finished eating our final course. There wasn't another party waiting for our seats so it was a bit strange to be rushed“

“I’ve never done a review before, but me and my partner had an amazing time here tonight. Just stopped by to have a couple drinks and a snack before heading home. The server, I’m not sure of his name but he was a server in the front section by the bar Wednesday around 8pm. He was incredibly knowledgeable of the wine list and knew all the details about the food we were served. The food runner ran thru each item on the food. Just incredible service. The server picked a fantastic wine I wouldn’t usually go for. The atmosphere was fire. Food 10/10. Recently moved to the area and we’ll be regulars now. Couldn’t rate this place higher. Oh and I also want to mention my partner called ahead and didn’t catch the host, but they called her back in like 1 minute and managed to squeeze us in. You’re running a tight ship!“

“I came here for my birthday and had the absolute BEST experience! From the second I walked through the door, I knew it was going to be a special night. Every single person working there was so friendly and really rounded out the experience. Since they knew it was my birthday thanks to Resy, they all signed a happy birthday card, and included a candle on my red bean baked Alaska! Now onto the food: every single dish was a perfectly balanced experience. My one recommendation - don't skip the caviar hand roll. It was so good and I am still thinking about it weeks later! The shrimp toast also had no business being as tasty as it was! The fun thing about this place is that the menu is regularly changing and I cannot wait to see what the menu is next time I visit. Thank you 63 for such a great evening!“

“I wasn’t sure what to expect-but I’mExtremely happy I dined at The Four HorsemanEntering the small establishment you are greeted with a nice doorman/host, who takes you into a small but romantic space. Details were perfect when decorating-from the original floor to the walls and art-mood lighting and light jazz on the speakers, the restaurant is very charming and romantic. The staff is meh-waitress seemed uninterested-some staff were wearing baggy long shirts/jackets that don’t work well in tight spots. As we were a table of two sitting in the middle-every time they walked by their tails of the shirt would hit us and our table. If you’re going to wear a very baggy loose shirt-tuck it in-to prevent this annoyance. No one seemed to be pressed for time-taking orders-fresh drinks-etc. the doorman stated when the next reservation was-as a warning not to linger more than 1.30 hours, but the waitstaff seemed clueless to this as it was she and her absence that kept us there almost 2 hours. Mind you-we were enjoying the wine, food, and conversation so we didn’t mind, except we had show tickets and were almost late. The waitress had an air of royalty attitude- better than us-as we are lucky she would visit our table and take our order. This is how she made me feel.Food is as delicious as beautifully plated. The atmosphere and food stole the show-the staff needs training-I’m not going to remove a star from the review for the staffing issues as the restaurant as a whole-and their food-is stellar. However, staff review is 2 stars.Came back for lunch when I was back in town-;lunch service was much better and the food was delicious, again.Kid-friendliness: Not at all-this is a different caliber restaurant where children should not be.Wheelchair accessibility: None. Not ADA compliant at all“

“Outstanding! Great service (friendly, efficient and great recommendations!) and great food. Shared some plates: patron peppers, octopus (superb), piquillo peppers stuffed with cod (wow!), black rice/squid (among the best I've had, including in Spain)... We were having such a great time, we decided to order another bottle of wine (great selections of Albariños) and share the Chuletón (fabulous!). We've been to Galicia several times and eating here brought back all the best memories! Thanks for a wonderful experience. We'll be back!“

“Divine food!! Such a cute space too and the chef and waiter were so lovely to us. We got the whole room to ourselves as we were eating at 5pm on a Monday but some of the best food we have had in New York. The sashimi was a knock out and cannot wait to go back. The best dish was by FAR the lamb kofta and the waiter was so good to tell us to only get one ie not add another lamb kofta ball so we had one each“

“I hated Lima beans, until I ate them at Contento. In fact, everything I ate there was perfection. My husband and I sat at the bar, which is exactly where I’d sit again. It’s cozy, comfortable and you can see some of the kitchen action as well as chat with fellow diners. The chef came out and helped us pick out a great bottle of wine. I use a wheelchair, which is what first attracted me to going to Contento. I appreciate feeling included. But I have recommended the place to friends and the next time I’m in New York I look forward to going back.“

“I heard that Tonchin is difficult to get walk-ins for, so I was really excited to get a reservation here. There was a long line of walk-ins when we arrived for our 12pm reservation. The restaurant has a cool modern vibe and good service. Overall there were some things I liked, but nothing was particularly memorable. The kimchi mushroom ($8) was meh and not worth the cost. It was very small, cold, and sour -- just hard strips of oyster mushroom in a chili oil/vinegar flavor. I didn't taste the kimchi flavor. The original maguro ($27) was very good. Lots of great flavors and textures, and everything was cut to the same size. I enjoyed the crunchy bits. The tebasaki ($18 for 6 pieces) had quite big and tender wings. The drumettes had more flavor and sauciness. This wasn't a must-get, but it was decent. The smoked dashi ramen ($22) definitely lived up to its name. It was a rich but not overly heavy pork broth with smoked dashi liquid on top. It was good but not amazing. I didn't love that the bamboo was in a big chunk, which made it hard to eat. The noodles are nothing special. I felt similarly about the tonkotsu ramen.I got the aka drink ($18) which was pretty good -- very floral and good sweetness. It wasn't that big, though -- it had a giant ice block in it.Overall the restaurant has a nice vibe and the food is quick to come out, but nothing would make me come back. The maguro was definitely the highlight.“

“Amazing Indian food in a relaxing and chic setting. Great price for a Michelin star restaurant and service is fantastic. My favorites were the dosa and the mung beans. The squash kurma was a bit bland compared to the other dishes. The cocktails were also incredible.“

“My husband, parents and I came here for dinner as they were visiting and my dad is a pescatarian. It was an absolute lovely evening. The ambience of this restaurant is smartly appointed, the service impeccable and the food absolutely delicious. My parents especially got a kick out of being able to choose their fish for the grill. Overall we had wonderful meal from start to finish. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!“

“What a gem we just found! I made a reservation at Stake Frites last minute on a whim, and am so glad I did. At first we sat at a high table but the place is tight, even for NY standards, so I asked the hostess if we could sit at the bar, that was perfect. Juan, the bartender, was the best! He makes the best cocktails and was really nice. The whole staff is great! Food was good, though my husband’s steak chateaubriand wasn’t served rare as he requested. We’ll definitely be back and try other things on the menu. My only complaint would be the very tight space but I heard they may be expanding so that might change.“

“What a unique and special experience. The chef considers every aspect of fine dining at his Michelin rated restaurant. Service is impeccable, quiet upscale dining with a variety of exquisite tasting food , beautiful dishes and a variety of wine to choose from with a sommelier. We wanted our children to experience a top French restaurant with a tasting menu. We enjoyed the seven course "essential menu." Dined on so many tasty dishes. Absolutely my favorite was the wagyu. Best thing I have ever tasted. It's extremely pricey so save this for something very special if cost is a factor.“

“OMG! I love this place. I am craving it right now as I write this review.Food:If I could live off of Adjaruli Khachapuri I would. A traditional dish that is open-faced khachapuri with a blended cheese, topped with raw egg. The egg is mixed into the cheese tableside. SOOOO GOOOOD!!!! It was so good that I had one as an appetizer and one for dinner. I also enjoyed Mushroom Khinkali (Georgian Dumplings) - another delicious dish. Lastly, I had one of their spreads - Spinach Pkhali: Spinach, walnut paste, onion, garlic, coriander and topped with Pomegranate Seeds. Super fresh and delicious.Drinks:For cocktails, we had a Sassy Tangarine: Cachaca, Cointreau, fresh lime juice, tangerine, and orange bitters and an Espresso Mama: A rich and indulgent chilled espresso cocktail with Georgian Brandy, Mr. Black, fresh espresso and simple syrup. And then with dinner, I had a flight of their famous wines - I had the Amber Wine Flight - Three different amber wine styles from different grape varieties.Service:The service was super friendly, helpful, and attentive. We sat at the bar and had a great time.Vibe:I loved sitting at the bar. I took a tour around the restaurant and if I sat at a table, I would probably want to sit in the front room or at the bar. This was a great find and I would highly recommend a visit.Date of Visit: 16 March 2024“

“We had an amazing experience at Claud last night. The service couldn't have been better, and the food was amazing. We ordered the squash fritters, foie gras terrine, red shrimp, chicken liver agnolotti and rice pudding for dessert. We were also able to try the kampachi with kumquat and yuzu which was so fresh bright and delicious. The squash fritters had such a light and delicious batter and covered with pecorino. They were amazing. We loved the foie gras terrine with the most delicious sourdough bread. The red shrimp was one of my favorites. So simple and full of flavor. The agnolotti were fantastic. The pork chop was cooked perfectly and were covered in delicious smoked onion jus. The glazed carrots were so unique and delectable. The rice pudding was one of the best we've ever had. This was one of the best meals we've had in NYC. It would be hard to find anything better.“

“I was up and down about buying this pizza because of the cost...HOWEVER, I thought I'd give it a try. It arrived today...Man. REAL PIZZA after 20 years of being GF. It was delicious! I've order online frozen items (cookies, pizza, apps etc) before and this was, by far, the best delivery result. Frozen solid, minimal waste and even the GF taramisu I was nervous about experienced no thawing. It was supposed to be for someone else but oops, so good my taste testing went a bit too far. What taramisu?? :) I ordered 3 GF pizzas and have only tried the sausage and mushroom so far. The crust edge was crispy on the outside and soft in the middle while the pizza itself cooked up nicely. I like mine a bit well done and even doing so, the toppings didn't burn. My ONLY complaint was it needed a bit more sauce for my personally liking and because it was fresh and tasty, I wanted more. Maybe a side to dip my crust in?? What? Yes. Great job Kreste!“

“Everything was perfection - from their service, to their drinks, to their food. We got the escargot to start, followed by the steak frites, pappardelle, and scallops. Everything was very yummy but the scallops were my favorite, and I will be ordering them again the next time I come!“

“This is a restaurant run by a lobster shop in Chelsea Market. There are many types of oysters, so it might be a good idea to use it as an oyster bar. It's a small shop, but the food is fresh and delicious. Also, the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is good.“

“TLDR: Replacing what was The Breslin is now Koloman. This is a very European restaurant. I've only been for lunch but for this level of dining, probably one of the better prefixe menus. I think the focaccia is worth it and for my selections, tartare, schnitzel and strudel.I went through a week of just eating a lot of fancy lunches solo. This day I hit up Koloman as I was curious about their prefixe for awhile.I added the warm pumpkin focaccia and yeah - that was tasty. Definitely rubbed in plenty of oil but it was nicely crispy on the outside but oh so fluffy on the inside. That butter was something else too.For the selections I started with the tartare. Typical french preparation, not too eggy or rich. Adequate acidity and very flavorful.Schnitzel. I wanted to like this a bit more but it was still good. The schnitzel coating was quite thin but maybe the way it was plated on top of each other - it kind of steamed out the coating and it just fell off. I liked the warm potato salad that accompanied it. I still am not a fan of lingonberry but I can appreciate it.Strudle. Very thin layers, tasty but maybe too much powdered sugar for my preference.Overall - I liked the food enough that Id' be back and maybe try some other things on the menu. Standout for me on this meal though? Focaccia, tartare.“

“Ate at Chama Mama in the Upper West side last January at a friend's recommendation, and it was my first time tasting Georgian Cuisine. It was great! I got the basic Khachapuri and the Khinkali (Georgian dumplings), and both came in big servings. “Dining at WEST10WEST was an absolute TREAT!! They’ve really nailed the curation of a cozy, inviting atmosphere, coupled with staff who are passionate about the food & drink (and will kindly provide detailed descriptions to all our questions)! And of course, the dishes were not only beautiful to look at, but also delicious and had such dynamic flavors. The spring ceviche’s red snapper tasted so fresh, and our table could not stop drinking up the citrusy « soup ». The eggplant was super hearty, with the gochujang flavor perfectly balancing out the bite. Also, the beet gnocchi was a 10/10. Chef Barbara coming out to greet us with the food was the extra cherry on top.I went with a group of girlfriends but this restaurant would be perfect for so many other occasions — date night, family dinner, bringing in out of town guests, intimate birthday celebrations, or simply catching up with friends over a glass of Metamorphika (which was divineee).I’m excited to return to try several other dishes — based on the pictures of the food & how I’ve described the space to friends, they’ll need little convincing. ?Huge shoutout to this team that has managed to inject so much life & personality into a small space within the West Village!“

“Had a girls night here. 5 of us, outside table, drinks and dinner before going out on Saturday. Definitely make a reservation. Drinks were average price for WV - 18. They were all excellent tasting (see note below though). Service was great - sirloin sandwich was delicious and well priced. We were not rushed out and vibes were great. We had a great time and I will be back. Note to the restaurant -- the espresso martini was great BUT please change the design, the coffee grounds on the top were cute but they ruin the drink halfway through and get in your teeth.“

“I start this review at the end: We will be returning to L'accolade for dinner again. I made our reservations on the same night as catching a show after dinner and so, we did not get a bottle from the wine list. The next time we go back, my husband and I have agreed to schedule dinner on it's own so that we may spend a bit more time and have a bottle from the wine list. The wine list is intriguing and electric, with many selections that my husband did not recognize, but is excited to try.I reserved at L'accolade because it was close to the venue where our show was scheduled that night and the restaurant that I first booked had removed duck (my favourite) from their menu. I wasn't sure what to expect exactly, from the online menu I was expecting something quite French, but I thought it would a bit more traditional? We were blown away and so happy I found L'accolade!Entering the restaurant we were greeted in a very professional and knowledgeable staff member, who had a great smile :)The place was hopping - lively music, lots of people having lively conversation and the interior felt like a very like we were about to dine in someone's beloved wine cave.We were seated at one of the best tables in the restaurant, I'm not sure how we got so lucky, this table was perfect for us.The gentleman was taking care of us primarily let us know we arrived at Happy Hour and that the drink specials were still on, so we began with a cocktail. I rarely have gin so opted for the Lavande, which features one of my fav flavour combinations, lavender and lemon and it was the perfect start to my meal. My husband requested a vodka martini on ice with three olives and our gentleman asked he if wanted it dirty - always the sign that someone knows their martinis! My husband answered "A little" and our gentleman knew exactly what was what :DWe greatly enjoyed our cocktails while we made our decisions about our meals. My husband looked over the wine list and was surprised to see many selections he was unfamiliar with, it was decided that if the food was good, we would be back to try a bottle from the wine list.At the perfect moment, the gentleman taking care of us returned to take our food orders and wine for our mains. We were very happy to be informed how each of our mains would be served - both medium rare, which is our preferred cook. I am not sure how others feel about this, but for my husband and I, we were reminded of our recent trip to Paris and take as a sign that the chef is well-trained in the French style. This was a touch that really made us smile, thank you.I had the Hamachi Tartare, it was beautifully presented, balanced, tasted of freshness and just a touch of acidity. I was worried it wouldn't taste right with my cocktail, but it was quite complimentary. My husband opted for the Seared Scallops which looked dramatic and perfect on his plate. He greatly enjoyed them and, of course, loved his martini. The staff is attentive without being overbearing, it reminded us greatly of French service with a friendly American twist. One of the things that stood out to us about the staff is that they genuinely seem to like working here and to also like each other, it's a really great environment to spend time in.Our table was clear and our mains presented in perfect timing and our dinner wine were brought over at exactly the right moment. My husband had the Beef Strip Loin, which included a serving of bone marrow. His plate was dramatic and he loved it. My husband that although he doesn't usually enjoy bone marrow, it was delicious and he finished it all off. We really appreciate the staff member who was attentive enough to realize that my husband needed a spoon without us asking, thank you, thank was very kind.I had the duck. It was the reason that we booked here and it was wonderful - perfectly cooked, the sides were tasty and balanced. It was the kind of duck that I will think about for a long time.We are so happy that we had dinner here and have been talking about it since we visited.“

“We were staying in Midtown recently and wanted to find an Italian place that didn't feel touristy, and offered "real" Italian food vs. the typical Italian-American fare of spaghetti & meatballs and chicken parm. Il Corso fit the bill perfectly - wonderful food; cozy, elegant environment; and excellent service. We were especially impressed by the creative seafood specials that were available the evening we were there. Prices were surprisingly affordable for NYC, as well - the bill for our dinner of shared app, 2 entrees, shared dessert, 2 espressos, and 2 glasses of wine was only around $160, without tip. Truly EXCELLENT value for the quality of food and the level of service we experienced! We will be back!“

“I will actually get all hoity toity food reviewer with this place. It was sublime. The thing I won't be able to stress enough is how well every thing I tried had the most perfect balance of flavors. You tasted everything, nothing was overpowering. For starters we had the seminola bread with oil, the broccoli rabe, the tuna and red pepper corsitini and the ricotta and honey crostini. The ricotta and honey crostini is a really strong recommend. For the main dish I had the maltagliati with pork sugo Bianco. The pork was excellent. My kid though, they hit the jackpot. They ordered the cavatelli with hot sausage and brown sage butter and it's literally their favorite pasta dish they've ever had. Which is saying a lot because they've been a fiend for spaghetti and meatballs the majority of their life. Our server Nicholas was an absolute pro. Very attentive and quick. The atmosphere is great. As always though, that star rating is affected by size. It's a tight fit between some of the tables, but the ambiance is wonderful.“

I should also mention I am a vegetarian and really appreciate the new vegan options - the gheimeh (vegetable stew) is a must.
