“We went to Capital Grille for the first time and had an amazing meal. Our server J was on top of everything and did a wonderful job and took very good care of us as well as many other tables. We tried an array of foods and there was not 1 item that wasnt absolutely delicious. Everything was cooled perfectly. If you have ever questioned if you should try this place here is your sign to stop questioning and go enjoy one of best meals you will ever have! “This restaurant was new to this area, and it did not miss. We really enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and the staff. We booked a reservation last minute and they were able to accommodate us on a pretty busy night. We hung out at the bar until our table was ready, and it was in a semi-private room, which I liked. We will be returning.“

“Went for a multi celebration of birthdays, fathers days, and a graduation. There 11 of us and everything was perfect. The service, food, atmosphere timing etc. Every detail was tended do by our attentive waiters. They never missed a beat and could not have been more authentic or accomodating. “My husband and I came to Abma's, and stopped into the Tomasello tasting room to pick up a few bottles, but decided to stay for a wine tasting. I'm so glad we did! Lauren and Pamela were friendly and knowledgeable hosts who made our afternoon into a very enjoyable experience. They told us about our different wine options, what foods they would pair well with, about various seasonal varieties not currently available that we could return and try, and were just fun in general to chat with. “I don’t know how I’ve managed to go this Long without writing a review for the Oak House but better late than never! I can’t say enough good things about this place! I’ve been coming to the Oak House regularly, pretty much since the day they opened! It immediately became my favorite spot, for several reasons, first and foremost of the food is phenomenal, literally every bite of every menu item is delicious. They have a beautiful and unique cocktail menu, and their bartenders are spectacular. On top of all of that, the vibes are immaculate. All of the staff is great, super friendly, and accommodating. Oak house is the perfect spot for a girls night out, date night, happy hour… or a solo date! Honestly all the things!!“

“Place is a hidden treasure. Food is outstanding! The waiters were very welcoming, funny and very attentive without rushing us before we could ask for anything they were right there. The owner is super sweet with a beautiful personality. He makes you feel welcomed from the moment you walk in. The food was phenomenal every dish was seasoned perfectly and portions were plentiful. The prices very reasonable for the service and food quality they provide. This is so far our favorite Italian cuisine restaurant I'm so glad we live close by we will be back. Some of my favorites are the Caprese Salad Frito Misto Tartufo pizza. Yesterday,we went for cocktails and shared a Frito Misto.As usual , they were excellent. It was early but the place was pretty full. The bartender was very professional and efficient. Overall very good experience.“

“Very good place for Neapolitan-style pizza. We started off with grilled artichoke hearts with lemon vinaigrette & shaved pecorino toscano - a nice antipasto - and then shared two pizzas: the spicy Picca (tomato sauce, fontina, hot sausage, red onions, chillies) and the Norma (tomato sauce, fried eggplant, ricotta, pecorino, garlic & basil).

Both were really good - with soft, pillowy, lightly-charred Neapolitan-style crust - but the zesty Picca had the edge (the Norma was slightly bland / under seasoned).

“So my Lenten sacrifice included all things that look good, taste good & make me feel good. So last night after an intense interpersonal interaction earlier in the day I headed to Yatenga. I was greeted by the lovely Todd the bar man (one of the things that look good)who greeted warmly and took my order. He returned with my preferred cocktail-The Lou Lou! The fact that he remembered made me feel like a Prince (only a Prince as he’s a King). I started my meal with the Cauliflower soup which was well flavored and simply delicious. It was so good it was enough to turn a carnivore into a vegetarian! Then I had the Chicken Francaise which was prepared to perfection. The accompanying sauce was smooth and also highly flavored. The chicken breast’s were tender & the texture was as if the chicken had just been sacrificed moments before. The vegetables of haricot verts and carrots were perfectly al dente. And my dessert of Tart Tartin could not have been better; nice flaky crust and perfectly sweetened! In the past 13 years I have not patronized another restaurant in Harlem in particular and NYC in general. Why? Because I don’t have the confidence that I will be as well treated and cared for and well-fed as I am at Yatenga. The fact that Todd the barman does double duty as a server and does it affably is one major reason I keep going back. The management must be superior-why else would the staff be so equally superior. I travel a lot for work & thusly try to avoid restaurants in other towns and villages because I know they’re not Yatenga.“

“My wife and I were there for a political function combo meeting and Christmas luncheon. This establishment is super clean, bright, and cozy. The food and wine were delicious. I had chicken parm. Was fantastic. Was batted down thin and breaded and seasoned to perfection. VERY tender, I only had to use my folk to cut. The marinara was fresh semi chunky lite delicious and perfect. The fresh bread came in handy to clean up my plate. My wife has a fresh pasta marinara dish and NO complaints there. “This is for the bar, came on a mid-day on a holiday and the bar/restaurant had visible traffic but was comfortable enough to have a conversation with snacks and a drink. The prices are a bit higher for what it is (happy hour prices makes it manageable), the sausage plate isn’t that great (chorizo better than the bratwurst which felt flat and lacked flavor), but there is a variety of beers on tap.“

She was absolutely a joy, smiling and chatting while she served us up our drinks, then meticulously prepared the dipping oil for our warm bread. After taking our order, Linda served us two very large portions. I had a pasta dish with rigatoni that was made fresh that day. (The bar is connected to an Italian restaurant, which is a separate business, but they work seamlessly to provide customers in both establishments a terrific dining experience. The live music was fabulous, with a great mix of classic hits performed by very talented musicians. We opted not to get dessert and left with our bellies full and our hearts content. Parking was a little bit of a challenge with it being a Saturday night, but Linda informed us to use the VFW parking lot the next time around. Can't wait to check out Karaoke night on Wednesdays. “By far my fave kbbq spot. The meats are high quality and the servers are always very friendly. Their marinated short ribs and house special spicy pork are my absolute faves. Love how the charcoal flavor gets into the meat. Their mool nengmyun (buckwheat noodles in a cold broth) compliments their bbq meats really well, and their broth is the real deal. The Korean-style beef tartare (over seasoned sushi rice) is phenomenal and my must-eat every time I go.“

“Loved the super friendly staff, including the owner who stopped by to ask how everything was going; the menu was quite varied and healthy, & lattes great, especially the 2 seasonal ones we tried; ambiance delightful — lots of sunlight, good mix of seating, cheerful decor w. lots of goods from local farmers & vendors in market section, free WiFi, & location central to subway & bus stops, though on edge of busy and bit chaotic traffic circle, making cafe signage not as prominently ideal. Outdoor seating a big plus during warmer months which this clearly wasn’t, but chairs still optimistically there :D

Cafe works hard to operate sustainably and therefore participates in an innovative local program that offers recycling of fresh flower arrangements post their short life at a special event, so not wasted. Very creative!

“NYC steakhouse experience without the drive. Ambiance is top notch. High end decor but my kids felt very comfortable here. Food was very good. Steaks cooked and seasoned perfectly. French onion soup was full bodied. Mashed was smooth. Corn was different in a good way, have to try to understand. Only criticism i can make is the rest of the meal was so good that the dessert wasn't on the same level. It was still fine. Overall excellent experience, will definitely go back.“
