Broad menu , delicious cocktails ( drinks were amazing - we were competing / challenging bar- and were so excited to receive beautiful composition of flavors). Big servings - enough to feed 2 people! They were very accommodating- they offered to open for our party an hour earlier - just for us to have some personal family time - WHO WOULD DO THAT!?! “My wife and I enjoy coming to this restaurant. The food is good well plated and the owner, waiters and busboys are very attentive. Their pizza's are delicious the appetizers are very good and the meatballs in sauce are great, many Italian restaurants fall short on their meatballs not at Ortomare. We have brought our adult son's and their wife's and they like Ortomare Restaurant very much. The pizza is fantastic and we also enjoyed a shrimp app with this incredible tomato sauce and got cheese served with some crust to soak up that yummy sauce. “This is our neighborhood restaurant. We usually come here on Fridays to celebrate the end of the work week. Their handmade pastas are ALL excellent (my fav is the bucatini) and their pizzas are soft and chewy and pillowy. The staff are all warm and friendly and the vibe is just relaxed and chill. Whether it’s a cold winter night sipping an old fashioned or a warm summer afternoon sipping a Negroni, there’s no other place I’d rather be at than Bar 314. This is a destination restaurant. Even if it was all the way down in the Financial District I’d travel to it.“
“Due to circumstances, I can't go and eat there, so I've had Uber delivery for 3 days in a row now (trying various things). The quality of the food is incomparable to other restaurants. It's on a different level. Each and every sauce is made with care. They package it well. I had a question about the menu, so I called. When I did that, the female waiter (not Korean) was really kind! She explained it to me while shouting a little and said that she was sorry for yelling at the end because the store was too noisy. Even though she was busy, the waiter explained things so well! “From the outside, you wouldn't think much about this spot. But once you enter and try their food, it's actually really good. This little gem is situated in Harlem, an easy drive from the Bronx. We walked in and got seated at our table. Our waitress and bartender were very friendly. The vibe was very romantic and cozy, perfect for date night or just grabbing dinner with your girls. They do play throwbacks and R&B so it's definitely a New York spot. Now on the food. The bruschetta was okay. My friend is not a fan of tomatoes, and I'm not a fan of unseasoned tomatoes, so it wasn't a win-win for us. However, the entrées were great. My friend got the skirt steak with fries and I got the linguine bolognese. My pasta was absolutely delectable, and I don't know how I finished the entire entire plate in one sitting. My friend liked her steak, but the fries still the show. They were perfectly fried, and crispy. We also got the berry red sangria. It tasted like a regular Pinot Grigio with a cherry added to it so it wasn't really that special but nonetheless, for $13, you get a full glass so you really can't complain. All in all, definitely check out the spot. It's low-key, but worth a try. I would definitely come back if I'm in the neighborhood. Thanks guys for a great dinner.“
“We went on a Friday around 6, only a few customers in the place. Greeted by a friendly waiter who asked us to sit where we chose. Had the Yatenga salad for starters which the dressing was a bit bitter but the otherwise the salad was very fresh. Entrees were the chef special gambas and the mussels. Both plates were well presented, good portions, and very delicious. We ordered the apple tart for dessert which was ok.We will definitely be returning to try some of the other entrees.“

“We had a wonderful first visit at Spuntino's. The food was delicious - highly recommend the fresh made table side mozzarella! Thete is a wide variety to choose from and something for everyone. We were a bit disappointed with the chocolate chip zeppole because they were raw inside and had to be returned; however, the manager was wonderful and did not charge us for the order. There is an extensive wine list but also cocktails and beers. There were 6 of us and we felt the table was a bit small for tapas, wine flights etc. Overall the experience was a lot of fun and a great place to go with a group!“

It is not loud and the restaurant is large enough that in off peak hours you are not seated too close to anyone. The wait staff is nice and attentive and doesn't rush you.“

“It was a nice place to have a meal. Kind of mid-lit trendy place. It was comfortable and our waitress was really friendly. Come to think of it, the hostess was really nice too. That set a good tone for the evening and we all loved our food. The Waygu burger in particular was amazing and cooked to perfection. The prices are a little high in general, but I would say they are about normal for Ridgewood. They have good cocktails for $18 each and they also have some nice local beers. There is a small side room that it looks like you could rent out, and it looks like it holds like 15 people or so.“

“There are two sides to this place separated by a brick wall: bar and high tops on the left, seated dining on the right. The decor isn't anything special, but it's spacious, and you won't be eating on top of each other. They typically decorate for some holidays, so that's a cute touch as well. I've only ever had the chicken club and the lox spread, but both were decent and well-priced. I usually come here for after-work drinks. The head bartender, Jorge, and Mariana really know what they're doing. My personal favorites are the Berries In the Cloud (sweet and fruity with a cider foam - for those who don't want to taste the alcohol), the Smokey Pineapple (sweet with the kick of mezcal that is presented with a cool burnt cherry wood smoke), and Jorge's Negroni (a nice twist on a classic that is, of course, very liquor forward, but is nicely disguised with the grapefruit). My partner likes to get a mezcal Manhattan here, which he claims is better than the classic. Edit: changing to 5 stars now that I've come back a few times and eaten more of the food. The salmon, and the fries, are really good!“

“The service was amazing! Our server Jay went above and beyond what was expected. The onion soup was delicious. The perfect amount of cheese and the perfect saltiness. I ordered the 2 course plat. I had the soup and the beef tenderloin and fries. Delicious. The special dessert of the day was their bourbon bread pudding with butter pecan ice cream. All I can say is Yum!!“
