“We always have a good time here so we decided to have my daughter’s intimate wedding ceremony and celebration at 1958. What a success! Everyone left happy and full. “Enjoyed a great plantain jibaro steak sandwich with a spicy aioli that hits all the tastebuds. Shakes and coffee are all top quality. The empanada assortment that he is always adding to gives all palettes a choice of something good. A must try!!“

“My first time coming here and I must say, the food and service I was given was impeccable. Dining outside was rather comfortable despite the cold weather and the waiters I had were amazing. Being outside the atmosphere was rather simple so I'm unsure about indoor but it seemed cozy when I went to the restroom. I highly recommend people to check it out for dinner the most!

“The food was extremely flavorful and delicious. If I am back in NJ I will come back for sure.
As a vegetarian I got served a meal that had meat in it. It was a large order so I don't fully fault them. I'm sure if I had ordered on my own they would have said something.

“We were in NY for a couple of days, because our baby broke down, while they were doing the repairs the mechanics recommended this gem, excellent food, good atmosphere, friendly, helpful and cordial employees, we asked for a typical dish, they promised to make it up to date Next, we returned 2 days later and if they complied, they had the "Locrio de cerdo" dish. What a delight.The coffee has a strange taste, but it's not bad. The breads and croissants are delicious.The bathroom is small, but it allows you to freshen up ?The man in the kitchen is quite nice, and the lady at the front desk speaks very well, the site makes you feel comfortable. They let me stay for a while and it was great, because looking at a broken down truck is no fun.“

“My wife and I went Friday at 7:30 and the room we ate in was practically empty, which made me wonder why we didn’t get quicker service. The server was nice, but slow. The food was amazing!! I had Paella and the portion was huge! Easily enough for two and then some!! Wife had shrimp in garlic sauce and that was also delicious and a good amount of shrimp. I wanted to give my compliments to the chef, but when they took the check (paid in cash) no one ever came back! I will definitely visit again, but probably won’t be as generous with a tip.
Parking: You might get lucky and find street parking, but there is a parking lot across the street.“

“We went to Omar’s this morning for a bite, upon entry we were warmly greeted and customers looked to be regulars. All of this was a good sign. We ordered two Taylor ham, egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches and coffee. This sandwich was no joke it was much larger than expected, the bread was fantastic, eggs cooked just right and the Taylor Ham, well it’s Taylor Ham it’s always perfect. The Cuban coffee was amazing. Highly recommend.“

The manager Camillo saw we were waiting and was more than helpful and took our whole order without writing it down appetizer and entree and everything came out perfectly... Food was amazing!!...
