i’m a regular here. every week, i always get a sec (sausage, egg, and cheese), and a medium iced matcha latte with which to pair, before flipping my laptop open to do some work. perfect combo, might i add. and, the environment is great for working: not too noisy, and lots of tables and OUTLETS, most importantly. can’t forget the outlets.

“I live in the area and attend college out of town so getting to the library on my off days is tough. I've been looking for a place with a chill ambiance, wifi, good tea, and coffee. Well, look no more for me. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Great rustic look, comfy seating with back support, loads of outlets for laptops, and the second-floor space are super cute and cozy too. Oh and there's a small little outside area that's pretty cool as well. Shaquille (hope I spelled it right) was AMAZING! So down-to-earth, friendly, polite, and easy to talk to. She made me the Tumeric latte for me and I all but licked the cup clean. I had the hummus & cucumber on sourdough toast and it was divine. Also, a great option for vegans. I totally recommend this place if you have similar needs or just want to hang out with some friends. I will surely be going back.“

“Cozy cool spot to hang out and really dig in to experimental coffee culture. You might expect this spot to be pretentious but, not at all. Warm, friendly, and seriously coffee focused with just enough munchies to justify more than one cup. A great find for coffee fiends and foodies alike.

The barister (coffee bar tender) took me on a beautiful adventure in a flight sampling of their cold brews. I've tasted coffee all over the US and a bit internationally and I've never tasted anything like this! (Apparently because I've never been to Japan) The Kyoto Japanese cold brew is a trip for your tastebuds. First a punch in the face then softly floral, herby, and a little funky with a sweet finish.

I had come for the masala chai which had been highly recommended and, let me tell you, I was not disappointed! DELICIOUS!

I was searching for breakfast when I walked in... and they do have muffins and pastries, but I opted for the City Hall roastbeef sandwich. Oh my was she a beauty! And yummy!

“Came here to get some work done and wasn’t disappointed. The service is really nice and accommodating. There’s limited seating but there was room on a late Friday morning and the seating was comfortable to sit for a few hours. I got the biscoff latte with oat milk since it was so recommended and it was pretty good. The espresso was good. The atmosphere was really cute and decorated in a comfy way (even the bathroom). It was pretty warm but they turned on the AC once they noticed.“

“We pulled off the highway for a coffee and stumbled upon this gem. The pastry menu is filled with unique items and great flavor combinations. I had the ube pan de sal and the Kashmir cardamom latte with oat milk. I absolutely love both! The location seemed surprising at first, it’s located in a larger office complex, but inside it feels comfortable with warm lighting and plenty of seating. They also sell records and prepared wraps and desserts. Check it out if you’re in the area! I will be sure to stop by next time I’m passing through.“

The eclectic yet calming ambiance of Cafe By Us, along with the amazing outside artwork and craftsmanship of the building alone will make me a frequent visitor. A peaceful setting that seems fitting for folk of all ages, styles and backgrounds. Much of the decor has great meaning, so if possible and interested, I recommend asking the owner Sam (a very personable individual) all about it. My mom and I ordered a lemon ginger tea, a caramel machiatto and a chicken sandwich and were extremely satisfied! The prices are very fair (especially in this economy), and the orders were delivered to us pleasantly by staff and within a reason timeframe. My only regret was that I didn’t try more of the options. However, i will certainly be back and will be sure to eventually try each item outlined on the menu, more than once!
