“Ladies and gentlemen this is one of the best cafes in and around clifton-paterson- garfield area where you can grab a very flavorful coffee and enjoy a little studying time. The cafe has plenty of seats for everyone and plenty of outlets. Mario and jason are both great baristas and are phenomenal with the customers. I definitely come here often and study and enjoy the environment and vibes of cafe. It can get a little hectic and loud when there are inconsiderate people around but all in all one of my fav cafes. They always have new drinks and the baristas are very creative. Well done!“

Parking: We were lucky enough to get a spot in front of the restaurant as someone was pulling out. There are parking spots throughout that section.“

“I would go back for the chocolate blackout donut alone, but the dirty chai latte and chocolate loaf are also worth a second visit. Perfect spot for a rainy Saturday morning to warm up from the inside out before venturing back out to take on the rest of your weekend. “I stopped by for an iced oat milk latte while waiting for a nearby appointment and enjoyed the drink and the relaxed vibe. This is the second Java Love I've visited and I plan to return to hang out and do some reading. The staff was kind and welcoming.“

“I love coming to Java Love. The staff are always so friendly. The food and drinks are delicious. And they’re so creative with their seasonal drinks. The atmosphere is also so inviting.

Parking: There is no dedicated parking for Java Love - either pay to park on the street (if you can find a free spot), park in one or Montclair’s many parking garages, or park a couple blocks away in the residential area where street parking is free and has no time restrictions.“

“I have been coming here for delicious authentic Italian pastries since it opened. Its always been excellent. Now, they off delicious brunch. We had the French toast and the Belgian waffles and both were excellent. They offer cute outdoor seating under the awning which is great for people watching.“

“gelato: the flavors were amazing. it tasted pretty dang good. but it felt more like soft serve so i was kind of confused with the texture. but flavor is nice nonetheless. the gelatos are made fresh there right in front of you. i got the espresso flavor but i tried mango and pistachio as well.

value: its pricey for sure for the portion size. but it is also being made fresh there so it is understandable. i think flavor also justifies the price but i think i was just thrown off a bit by the texture. there was also a discrepancy between how much each of us got even though we all got the same size which was kind of odd (one of us got a huge mountain while one barely got a hill)

service: it was a very in and out type of feeling. didn’t feel very warm and welcoming. kind of just what do you want? okay here. pay. bye.

vibe: seating both inside and outside. it’s a cute spot for sure.

overall i liked the taste but not the biggest fan of the soft serve texture. i was expecting a more silky feeling but maybe it just wasn’t ready at that moment. i would recommend bc i would return to try the other flavors but not frequently bc it is expensive.“

“In my tea era for good and I have the most perfect tea spot!! The interiors are beautiful like a lil tea party, miniature tea cups (almost feels tea shop in Alice’s wonderland)

“This place is on point, greeted when we first entered and thanked before we left. The service was great, cashier was pleasant and efficient while taking our order. The food was amazing!! Collared greens, mac &cheese, yams, yellow rice, chicken and cat fish. The cornbread hits the mark. Soul food that speaks to the soul. Finally soul food done right. If you didnt know now you know, cornbread is where to go.“

“this is my fav study spot! the staff are super friendly and i always have a great experience. i feel welcomed and the drinks are great. i’ll miss going basically every day when i’m away at college this location is a gem and no other starbucks ive been to offers this level of customer service. 10/10 experience“

“This is my FAVORITE place to go and kill my cravings. I’m a gym rat and I always need to keep up with my protein daily goal but I also have a sweet tooth. So this is the best spot for a person like me. They have protein waffles, donuts and yummy shakes.“

We’ve found the food fresh and enjoyed the slightly south Asian spices in some of their soups. Prices are among the most reasonable in Montclair. Strange combination of mostly 4/5* reviews punctuated by a smattering of 1* mostly related to perceived rudeness. I wonder if this is a cultural expectation thing as the owners are from Bangladesh. They have been nothing but friendly to us and others we know who have visited. Worth checking out for yourself.“

“My favorite place! I have the Kungfu Tea app so I can adjust the level of sugar, ice, bobba pearls, and etc. It's easier that way and let me tell you this..they make the best boba in NJ! This is the only place I come to with my kids because that's how much we love the drinks and I’ve been coming here for estimation of maybe 25th times.

Parking: You can pay cash from down the street or get a parking garage but don't let that stop you from missing out on their delicious drinks!“
