“I am a Kindergarten teacher in Millville and we decided to take the whole grade level to the beach for a field trip. I reached out to the Churn House asking if they could accommodate our K students and they did not hesitate at all. They opened their ice cream shop early just for our school to enjoy. They made the students huge homemade ice cream sandwiches that were absolutely delicious! Communication was beyond superb and we will be using them again!! Thank you so much for making our kiddos beach day special!!“

“Hobby Horse Ice Cream Parlor & Cafe is a charming stop with a nostalgic atmosphere that fits Ocean City perfectly. The vintage interior gives it a classic ice cream parlor feel, making it a fun place to visit.

The ice cream was very good, with a nice selection of flavors to choose from. Prices were reasonable, the portions were satisfying, and the service was friendly and efficient.

Its location is another big plus, making it an easy stop while walking around town or after spending time at the beach.

“I wish you had more than 5 stars. We can’t say enough good things about our experience. I called ahead and got an emphatic “yes” when I asked if they could accommodate my 6 year old granddaughter who has celiac disease. When we got there and to the counter the owners and counter help could not have been nicer, or more knowledgeable. They gave us our options, of which there were plenty. Showed us the ingredient label. Went in the back for a fresh tub and a clean scoop. We were a party of 8 , and besides celiacs we had one diabetic and one who gets anxiety when having to make a choice between so many flavors. They handled it all. And the ice cream was delicious.“

This was someplace special. Why? Flavors like eggnog, rum raisin (ok not the most unique but definitely delicious) and bourbon (in ice cream form? whoa!). After not being able to decide, I just had a small swirl cone there and took home a quart with the 3 flavors above. I scooped some tonight, was happy I found the place and got some total high quality product. Hey! Go! Now, if not sooner! The hours are not year-round so go! “We love this place. There are so many ice cream shops around Ocean City, but we always seem to come back here. The ice cream and ices are really good, they have a ton of choices, and it’s a cute little spot close to the boardwalk.

The best part is the people. They’re just genuinely nice and always make us and our kids feel welcome. Our kids get excited to go and they’re always happy to see them too. We’re nearby at The Linda Grande Hotel, so this has definitely become our regular ice cream stop. Great little family friendly place with really good people.“

“I went here for breakfast the morning we left Atlantic City. It was crowded. There are not nearly enough seats in there compared to the amount of traffic they push through. They do serve breakfast items. I had the blueberry crepes and my daughter had a big waffle with strawberries on top. The food was pretty good for a off-the-wall spot. Didn't get to try their ice cream, sadly. It was a bit of a wait to order and then wait for a table to become available.“
