Seafood boil in this day and age is so expensive and here I can get 1/b crab legs, a potato, an egg, and cajun fries for close to $25. The hibachi menu is also DELICIOUS. “Lunch service was nice. However my brother ordered a Paella and there was hardly any rice in it. Given the fact the waiter insisted it would feed 3 I'm glad he ordered his solo cause it was barely enough for him. I ordered a chicken breast and chorizo lunch special. It was good. Aside from the spicy flavors it was great. The service was fantastic. It's no wonder they've been around for a long time. My brother recommended this place since he's been coming here a long time. “Seafood Birthday Bash!

Went to this restaurant for my uncles birthday. He doesn’t eat chicken or steak so seafood is his favorite. Caldwell Seafood Market & Cafe was an obvious choice because of the pictures and the fact it was a fresh seafood market just stood out to me. It did not disappoint either! We were a group of 10 people and ordered everything our heart desired and spent $579. We ordered 3 orders of fried calamari which was nice and crispy and they even had a ginger sauce which is different. We tried the hot and spicy shrimp which had a great sauce to dip the complementary bread in. We ordered 5 bowls of New England clam chowder. I felt it was watery and not as seasoned as I am used to but we enjoyed it anyway. They forgot a bowl of soup but we won’t hold it against them. We all ordered entrees and most of us got a dessert! We left full and satisfied!

Knowing my family we love to eat and we are all reviewers at heart and are not afraid to say what we do not like. Everyone loved their food from the appetizers to the dessert and we were surprised at how fast the food came and how fresh it was. The waiter was very attentive as well. We didn’t need a reservation when we came in at 3pm and were the only ones there. Surprising it was not packed for a Saturday afternoon but started to fill up as we left.

Overall this restaurant gets a 5/5 because the experience was great, the waiter was very nice and accommodating, the food was piping hot and everyone was pleased even the kids who aren’t really seafood fans.

“On Saturday May 28th I had a reservation for 15 people because it was my daughter sweet sixteenth birthday dinner. The atmosphere was great, the music was a little too LOUD especially for some young children in my party and we the adults and young people we couldn’t hear each other speaking and my suggestion is to have the music at a moderate tone so we can hear each other at the table and also to make sure the waitress/waiter get the food order correct . The food was a little too salty but everything was ok“

“I've passed by this place on multiple occasions and finally decided to try it and it was great. I bought the hot buffalo and teriyaki flavored wings and they were great. The teriyaki was not salty but had that great flavor. The hot wings though could use more heat but have good flavor overall. I'm a heat seeker so I like big hits of spice so try at your own discretion. Overall great local wing spot, which Newark needed. If your too far from buffalo wild wings or wing stop, give panzz a try.“
