“So I took an extra trip from NYC to try the this Ice Cream, trust me it was worth it. My suggestion is that if you do come this way plan to stay in the area at least one day to see the Butterfly Falls and stop here to enjoy the best ice cream that you will ever try. They have many different flavors available. Next to the Ice Cream shop, there is also Pizzeria, and a great store located on the same yard. Pizza I did not try, it was closed when I arrived. But I did mange to get few things from their store. Large selection of products, from Bread, different spices, sauces, fruits, vegetables. The best time to come here is when the Apple picking season starts. Keep up the good work!”

“I was hiking a section of the Appalachian Trail, and some other hikers told me of this place. I was so hungry and when I got there the food smells were so good, I had to stop. I had my dog with me but the owner had no problems with me tying the dog out back where there are picnic tables while I ordered. The owner loves dogs and is very friendly to both the dog and I. The food was delicious and the portions so large that I was full before I even finished my lunch. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants good service, good food and a caring restaurant owner. Thanks Mo and crew!”

“My wife and I went out and had dinner there with our Daughter and her boyfriend. Two of the four orders were completely wrong. They said it would be a long wait to bring out the correct orders so we kept the two wrong orders. My wife and our Daughters boyfriend were not crazy over the burgers they ate due to being not what was ordered and did not like the sauce on the burgers they were given. They ate about half. They took one of the bill. The place is nice, the food I thought was good. Would go back again and hope to get a the correct food order this time. There is a wait to get your food but that means they are making it fresh. Nice addition to the town.”

“Very comfortable local watering hole bar. Came here to see Edgeways and Larks Tongue for Prog Night and this is a great place for local live music, as they have a nice outdoor stage as well as a comfortable but narrow indoor area for bands. Drinks were fairly priced and the waitress running the bar was very nice and friendly even with loud music going on. Really easy to step out and come back in to smoke if desired. Would happily come here again.

Just to note if this is your first time here - they don’t have food ! You have to go get food and bring it back or have it delivered but I had no issue bringing in Chinese Food from nearby.

“Boomers is a very small, intimate bar where everyone knows everyone. Mostly Blue collar crowd throwing back after a hard day. Surprisingly level and well kept 6' pool table, although there is a short 3' stick required for some close walls and people) and competitive players.

Reasonably priced beer and shot joint, they have bar food also. I'd give it 5 stars for a dirty old biker like me, but it's usually a crowd of older guys during the day getting buzzed and shooting the breeze. Very nice lady behind the bar. Occasionally packed with a broad variety of ages and gender.

They even have a good sized smokers deck on the back, and ample parking. Good stop for bikers swinging through (but it's Stillwater and the local police are vigilant ball busters about the 25mph speed limit through town especially if you have loud pipes)

PS:. They have take out package goods as well (beer anyway, maybe more)

All in all..a great old dive ?”

“Come back to stillwater area every December to visit family. Since taylor ham egg and cheese is not available in montana and they've never heard of a hard roll i tend to eat one 3 times a week while I'm here and fredon deli has the best in the county. The rest of the food is pretty darn good also.”

“Many great people of all ages regularly attend. The staff is helpful & courteous. Owners put incredible effort into making it a fun place without exorbitant prices. Musical events are wonderful. Lots of good pool players too !”

“Prices are high. I ordered a buttered roll. There was very little butter on it, and none at all around the edges. If this was a slice of bread, that butter may have been sufficient, but a big thick kaiser needs a bit more to not choke to death on a wad of dry bread.
The atmosphere is really nice and cozy. Almost a tavern feel. Nice music, lots of space. I liked it a lot! However, at the end of the day... It's still a deli, and the food should be the main focus. Maybe next time I come by I'll stop again to reassess.”

“Visited on 4/16/2023 around noon. I was a little surprised they didn’t have windows open, probably short staffed, also it’s early in the season so I understand. A girl walked over to us promptly to take our order. She was super friendly. The ice cream was good.”
