“We had a great experience for our first time here. Love that they use local beef, it truly makes all of the difference in freshness and taste. Fantastic burgers, really good fries, great service! The waitress brought my two little kids a couple of cups of ice cream (no charge) which was really nice and much appreciated. Can’t wait to go back and explore more of the menu!“

“Been to El Patron many times over the last 4 years and it's always very good! The food is great and full of flavor and the drinks are always good! I ordered the El Patron burger and it was delicious we also ordered the mole enchiladas and they were really good also! I highly recommend trying the queso fundido, I promise you it will not disappoint! The prices are reasonable and food portions are big! The restaurant is nicely decorated and there is always really good Mexican music playing! Also the waiters are very attentive and really nice guys. If you're in the mood for a delicious Mexican meal at a fair price this is the place!! ***my table was not wobbly lol“

“I have lived here for about 8 years now. This is by far the best place for deserts and ice cream, locally, better than all ice cream places around. If you want to eat food, bugers , etc, this place is great, too. This is great treat. All the ice creams are fresh, homemade, good stuff for ice cream. Clean and cute place to sit and eat or to hang outside in beautiful weather. The is young, but respectful and do thier best, even when it gets crowded and sometimes they run out of items, but there is alwys other options to chose from. My favorites are too many to mention, but my go to is peanut butter sundae. I coud go on and on. Check it out , just know , there will be lines most weekends, especially in summer. 5 stars!Wheelchair accessibility: They should work on this , but when I can't walk it is always nice to spend time in the car having ice cream with husband , and enjoying the view. I know this is a tough one to tackle, I understand, it's an old house.“

First of all, what makes me crazy is that their Chicken Tender is so delicious, the texture and taste (although it looks ordinary on the outside, I can tell you 100% honest that it looks ordinary), but it can beat Popeyes by several strips. street. Then there are French fries and onion rings, which are better in quality than McDonald's. Parking is convenient and the service is attentive. The only two negative points are that their range hood may not have good exhaust, and guests will smell a strong smell of cooking fumes while dining. The environment is a bit old and dirty. So overall I am satisfied with the experience and I would give it a 4?. Because they still have room for improvement.“

“FRESH!! That's our takeaway!! The menu is extensive and tastefully imaginative. The service and staff were polite, professional, and efficient. The customer flow never stopped, and at times, the line went to the doors, whether to go or dine in. And despite this steady flow, the staff never missed a beat. They were clearly accustomed to this and worked well together. From the front end to the kitchen. They have it together. We sat and noticed how clean everything was. The floor, restrooms, counter, and what I could see behind it. Most tables were full, but empty were all clean. In less than 10 minutes, we had our shakes and burgers. They look wonderful. Just looking at it was a good thing. Nice presentation. But that first bite said it all! FRESH! And it clearly shows and tastes. What a great burger! Fresh vegetables, fresh bun, and fresh meat. What a great burger! Did I say that again? Well....Because it was! The fries were equally fresh and enjoyable. The shakes are nice and creamy as well. I'm 64 and retired with my background in fast food and restaurant management. It is apparent to me both from a customers point of view and understanding the other side of the counter and all it entails to run a successful food establishment that much time, though, and effort has gone into providing an above average, enjoyable meal, at a reasonable and affordable price that doesn't break the customer or the owners wallet. “The Barnyard is easily the pride of Branchville. I stopped in there last night and not only got great food but had amazing conversation with the staff. The place looks like it would have good food, and didn't disappoint.I will definitely make it my go to place whenever I am back there!“

“It's a Dairy Queen so you know what you are getting. Felt that the service was good for the three visits I have made there in the last two months. Hot food was consistent and fresh. Milk shakes were what you would expect from them. I was able to play an arcade game while I waited for my food so that was cool. Place looked like it was clean. Freezer seemed stocked with an ample supply of DQ items.. I have nothing to complain about so a 5 star it is. If you like DQ this once is worth stopping at.“

“Bartender who works Tuesdays Wednesday Saturday and Sundays is such a sweet honey doll. The other night he threw some trash bag out the bar(obnoxious women, wasn’t even hot?) and he handled it in the most professional way! Cleanest bar in port by far! Love the atmosphere and people“

“The burgers were all great and the fries were especially good. My milkshake was thin and not very flavorful, but my mom loved her milkshake. It was definitely a good quick stop on a long road trip. The staff wasn't rude but wasn't especially friendly either.“

“After a long day of fun at the water park coming here after was the highlight of the trip. Sitting outside watching other families you saw around the water park drive in to get some ice cream to end their day. Just had such a nice nostalgic feel to it I can't properly explain. Anyway, great ice cream.“
