“First time visit and we will definitely be back.Unfortunately, we along with many others in the area have been missing this great dining spot probably because from the outside it looks like a bar —- not the cozy place it is. We loved the food —- generous portions and perfect menu choices not to mention the server,Hannah, she is delightful. She told us that there are changing specials every Thursday-Sunday !! All things considered we will do our best to tell everyone what they are missing.“

“Last night was my first time coming here and I’ll definitely be back. We were a party of 9 for girls night and ended up in a beautiful secluded room. “Our pizza adventures continue and we found ourselves at the Anchor Inn a few nights ago. The place was full of families and friends enjoying a varied menu. We came for pizza but ended up ordering an appetizer and salad. Everything was very good! Service was fast and attentive. There’s an accessible entrance. Street parking was easy, but there’s also a parking lot. The place is probably a madhouse in the summer, but we had no trouble getting a table.“

“Loved my experience at Red Fox. Nice to have this spot right off the beach at Island Beach State Park. Very popular so it does get crowded, but for good reason. Nice to have draft specials in the middle of the day. And a raw bar w great clams.“

Highly recommend you try Old Causeway for dinner and drinks if you're staying at LBI because it beats most restaurants on the island and is the only thing I'll come back over the bridge for while staying at LBI.“

“My husband and I had dinner here for the first time in the summer of 2023 on a weeknight inside. We decided to give it a try due to the recommendation of our neighbors. I had the Lobster Grilled Cheese sandwich and Lobster Bisque Soup in a bread bowl upon recommendation of our neighbors again. Both items did not disappoint. Both items were super filling and tasty! If you order the soup in a bread bowl, be prepared to share. It becomes like an appetizer with all the soft bread in the bowl. Absolutely delicious. As for the atmosphere, we chose to sit inside. Watching the ocean and the boats at sunset gave it a perfect summerlike feel. We will be back based on our last experience this past summer.“

“Came here back in 2018-2019 a few times for dine in and takee out, back then the food was a hit or miss but I went again in December 2023 and for St Patricks Day 3/17/24 and the food is on point! “Table 13 with JanineLadies and Gentlemen,This is still a service industry. We couldn't have been reminded of this more until we had dinner tonight. We love Shady Rest for the food(any chicken or fried scallops should always be considered) but for the most part, the dining experience has usually been random, at best. Tonight, we had the pleasure of being seated in Janine's section, and we've never had a finer experience at Shady Rest. Janine was The Best! Everything came out correctly and we never waited for a refill. We will be back soon on a Saturday night to sit in Janine's section.“

“This is an absolute wow restaurant. There is nothing on the menu that's generic and everything has a personal touch to it. I got to meet the owners and they were the most down to earth friendly people. The clams were an excellent appetizer, followed by one of the best medium-rare prime ribs I've ever had. They absolutely nailed it. The rest of my party enjoyed the seafood they ordered. The dry scallops had by others were raved about and the service was top notch. This is a high end seafood restaurant with all the charm of a seaside inn. I absolutely can't wait to go back.“

“Came in for an early dinner with my son. We arrived at 4pm. By the time we left there was a wait, and it's obvious why. The food was so good. The wings were delicious, and cooked perfectly. I had the scallops and my son had the cheese steak. Two very different meals and both absolutely incredible. Our waiter was so awesome and attentive as well. Would 100% come back.“

“Easy to book online. From walking in to walking out, everything was wonderful. Hostess greeted us and seated us quickly. Food was served in less than 10 minutes. The waitress did a great job checking back and taking care of us. My mom had the salmon and I had a chicken quesadilla as an appetizer, and a cheesesteak. Both were excellent. The cheesesteak roll was soft and delicious. The the sauce and the cheese steak was perfect, not spicy but just enough zing to let you know it was not an out of the bottle sauce. We will return! Great atmosphere too. Family friendly.“

“We cannot say enough amazing things about our wedding experience at the Daymark! From start to finish Paul & Brian were responsive and collaborative. The vibe and looks of the upstairs party room were beautiful and set the stage for our Mediterranean garden party by the beach disco vibes, not that it needed additional decor but they did allow us to add our own DIY elements that only enhanced the space. The service, food, and drinks were delicious and so good! Paul and the rest of the Daymark staff were attentive and helpful from the day we inquired to the end of our wedding night, to picking up our decor the next day. Everything was just so easy and so well put together. We would 100% recommend the Daymark to anyone who is looking for a unique and colorful wedding space, with an amazing team and food. 10/10 experience and SO glad we had our ceremony (rain plan which had to be used) and reception there. They were collaborative and so helpful with each of our vendors. We truly can't wait to just come and eat the food and reminisce about our amazing day.“

“We sat at the bar. Service was engaging, friendly and quick. Creative bartender, good food and reasonable prices. Lots of food items to choose from including pizza, seafood and salads. It was our second time dining here but first at the bar.“

“My husband, baby and I have been coming in every single month after drill since last October 2022. All of the servers are amazing but Siobhan is our favorite by far. There is always a little disappointment when we aren’t in her section. We came in last night and our 1.5 year old was being super fussy and I was clearly flustered. Right before we left I apologized for my crying baby and Siobhan made it a point to tell me the staff remember us coming in when my baby was teeny tiny (we started coming in when she was 3 months old) and that I should never be embarrassed or feel bad about her crying. We chatted a bit and it was such a sweet interaction it really reiterated why she is our favorite and why we will never stop coming here. They also have the best burgers and wings around!“
