“We had my parents 50th wedding anniversary party on Saturday in their party area at Manzano's. The two waitresses who worked the party were excellent. So sweet and on top of everything. The food was great. I had the NY Strip steak. I asked for it medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. My wife has the chicken and she loved it. My parents were so happy. They had pizza for the kids and that was great! Highly recommend them for dinner or for a private party. Big thank you to everyone who made the day special at Manzano's ❤️“

“Kept driving by this place and finally got to try it out last week. As a Chicago native, I can tell you this is what I've been looking for the past 3 years of living here. The crust does not explode in your mouth like a bunch of tiny little splinters, it's softer and doughy. The ingredients and cheese are not skimped out on either, they are fresh ingredients and plentiful at that. The only thing I would change is more sauce, but I can do that myself next order on my own. Leftovers microwaved is a no go but air fried it's just like it came out of the oven all over again. In a Jersey full of Luigi's, pick Marios, you won't be disappointed. I suggest adding the wings into your order as well, best take out wings I've had from a pizza shop, super crispy breading and juicy interior.“

“Pies Place is flat out awesome! Highly recommend for dinner and catering. All staff are super friendly and they always go the extra mile for kids. My son loves the events with Santa and the Easter Bunny. Eat local, eat at Pies Place!“

“My 3 year old is autistic and will only eat certain foods which are usually chicken fingers and fries, I recently ordered myself penne in vodka sauce with chicken and to my absolute surprise my son tried a piece of the pasta and ate a whole bowl!! The food is always so flavorful and delicious! Our favorite pizza so far is the Lucy Special! The bread is so light and soft and the meatballs are to die for!! I’ve lived in manahawkin for 3 years and you guys are always our first place to recommend and order from! Their desserts always taste so fresh and those cannolis and cheesecake are to die for!!!! “Was dying to try the Detroit pie after seeing the photos in the print ad/menu, and it was delicious! The guy who took my order was so sweet, too, offering great feedback and explanations of the items. Delivery was quick for a Friday night, too.
Now, onto the star of the review: the pizza! The Detroit was delicious - the sauce, cheese and dough were all really good. Price was a bit high but really good pizza and would definitely order again!“

“They were so nice and the food was perfect it was so nice in there, and there was very good service it was clean. I went in there and I was a couple dollars short and they helped me out. I needed a box or drinks and they did not have it so a very kind man let me pick each one out. So pleased and thankful that I have rays sun set pizza near me.“

“This place is second to none! Leah was our server and she was so helpful and had such a great attitude. The owner personally came out and spoke with us and had a few minute conversation, also watching him interact with the locals was amazing! My GF was stationed in Italy for 3 years and this is the closest she has had to authentic Italian food. “I ordered for the first time from this place and it was excellent!!! I ordered the Chicken Cream of Broccoli Soup which was absolutely delicious!!!! The burger was perfectly cooked and fries were very crispy and seasoned perfectly as well.When my kids came down to visit we ordered the chicken cream of broccoli and quesadillas which were excellent!!! The eggplant parmigiana was exceptional!!Linda and her family are so very sweet, friendly and go out of their way to please their customers!!! We will definitely be ordering from them again!! “We went here on Thanksgiving. They had their open menu as well as a Thanksgiving dinner, which was delicious. The servers worked as hard as they could. To make sure everybody got their food on time. Click on the refills of your drinks.And you were able to sit out side by the water. If you go, i'm sure you will enjoy it.“

“We have been going to Black Eyed Susan's since their prior location across the street when it was BYOB and I can't believe it's actually gotten better in terms of menu and the cocktail menu is amazing too. With the addition of Marigold this summer they've reached the next level. We hope to rent it out next year for a private event. Could not recommend it enough if you're on Long Beach Island (or even if you have to drive the bridge)“
