We have followed this family-owned and operated establishment since the days when they were a food truck, then they moved to a small place on a side street in Verona and now at the current bigger location. This is authentic Thai food of the highest quality, and it has never declined over all these years.

The pad thai has true flavor, not excessively sweet. If you want something sweet, the sticky rice is perfect. Pad see ew noodles are fantastic, as are the curries. Amazing veggie dumplings and spring rolls, and saving the best for last…the shrimp buns- lightly breaded and fried whole shrimp on a fluffy open bun with a lightly spicy mayo based sauce…you have to go just for these alone!

Also the ambience is great - big rounded windows let in plenty of light to contrast with the exposed brick. Plus the service is friendly. We really love this place.“

After eating at another establishment not far from here, the name caught our eye. As we walked we noticed a market attached. We proceeded in and bought several things that sparked our interest. As we left we said,
“ let’s come back and eat here one day!”
Yesterday was the day, we stumbled in early and were lucky enough to snag a tiny booth as we had no reservations ( hint ).
We found out after thoroughly enjoying this meal that they have been there over 40 years.

For dinner, we ordered the special mango tuna roll, volcano roll, dynamite roll, and the sweet heart roll. All rolls were delicious, good proportions, and fresh. For dessert we enjoyed the chocolate moose pyramid and the 3 year old enjoyed the chocolate gelatto with a teddy bear made of white chocolate that was the highlight. She trully loved it jajaja! They have a pretty decent menu selection or hot and cold items of different rolls, sashimi, nigeri, etc. I thought the sushi rolls were ok but the rice should be a bit chewier. It was a bit too watery and soft for me. Really liked their fried items and the teriyaki fish they have.

Service was decent. The atmosphere was a bit too dark and stuffy for me. Would be nice to have some windows.

Place was empty but we got to check out all the nice decor. I’m not sure who tended to us but he was sooo nice, answered my questions about the menu, constantly refilled our water, and shared lots of info about Thailand, even showed us videos. And food came fast and the duck I had tasted fresh.“

1. No payment available as credit card in their website (so either you accept the uber fees, you need to pickup or pay in cash)

2. For some reason, they have more than one websites. In one of them, they have a quantity offer of a free item. In others not. So if you are lucky, you get it. If not, you don’t.
