“I’ve been ordering Chinese food here over the last year+ with no complaints! Everything has been delicious, fresh and staff is always kind. One time, my order was mixed up and I didn’t realize until I got home, they went above and beyond to make it right which was very much appreciated.

Tonight, I decided I’d give their sushi a try.. well, it’s all gone now but it was delicious !“

My toddler was thrilled to use chopsticks to eat just like her mama 😂 We had the pork ramen with white broth, which they stew for hours for maximum flavor, and the spicy salmon sushi which was made fresh and was humongous! “We were in town from Wisconsin to see Metallica. The day after the concert , we were looking for something good to eat and found Dumpling Dojo. Looking thru the menu , we knew we had to try. AMAZING!! We had one of the best meals we have had in a long time and my husband and I like to eat. We go to a lot of high ends places, but as I said , this place was extraordinary. The staff very friendly and helpful. We had the fried pork belly , tangerine beef , shrimp dumplings, fried shrimp and ramen noodle. And for desert , out of the world raspberry cheese cake wontons with whipped cream and fruit garnish. Nothing was too spicy but so flavorful. Again , you really need to try this place. Thank You !!“

The green salad with ginger dressing is delicious, as is the hibachi steak entree. “I had an amazing experience at Masago Sushi in Ridgewood, NJ. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The prices are also such a big factor since its so low for such big portions. But what really stood out, was the service. The staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and quick without ever feeling rushed. They made us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in. I would like to acknowledge the service of Ashley. She was so nice and really made us know that we didn’t make a mistake going here.

The atmosphere is also a big plus! Warm, clean, and relaxing, with a modern touch that makes it perfect for a casual lunch or a nice dinner out. You can tell they put care into creating an inviting dining environment.

“Updating my review because I have since eaten at Masa several times for lunch and dinner, including the omakase course! My original review is included below. Masa is some of the best sushi you can get in the area, and at a reasonable price. The omakase course is sooo good, and at $90 it's much cheaper than other omakase options in the area and in NYC. It is definitely worth the price, and make sure you come hungry! The omakase course is perfect for a nice date night or to celebrate something, especially since you can bring your own champagne or other alcoholic beverages since the restaurant is BYOB. I can't recommend Masa enough if you're in the mood for sushi!

“Holy moly this was INCREDIBLE. Amazing food, the skewers are great but their appetizers are so good too. Too many things that we wanted to try so we have to come back again. It is pricier (we spent around $40 a person without ordering alcohol) but totally worth it. Recommend the fried shishito and fried baby crab for appetizers and chicken neck and chicken thigh/green onion although all the skewers we had were good. I don't drink but a lot of the menu I'm sure would be great with their beer. I also appreciate how the menu has very traditional Japanese izakaya items without worrying about what people unfamiliar with it would think (items like cartilage or liver that most westernized places would never put on the menu).
It's a small place that fills up fast so getting a reservation is recommended. And groups larger than 4 might be tough“

This place has been a staple in Palisades for apparently 31 years, I’ve been here many times for the last 10 years, finally al getting around to writing a review.

If you’re new to kbbq, simply get their bbq combo, and that’ll be a good intro to the experience. If you’re more experienced and know what meat you like and accompanying dishes then go à la carte. They cook the meat for you and it the meat cooks relatively fast so be prepared to eat so the meat is not overcooked sitting on the grill.

Service and experience is similar to what you would get if you visited Korea. All right good spot, balanced, no fuss, and good selection of dishes to make the bbq complete.“
