“It was like dining in a 5 star establishment. I had the surf & turf. The jumbo shrimp.was perfectly cooked and the steak tips unbelievably great. I never had their specialty desert cake. “We had a wonderful first visit at Spuntino's. The food was delicious - highly recommend the fresh made table side mozzarella! Thete is a wide variety to choose from and something for everyone. We were a bit disappointed with the chocolate chip zeppole because they were raw inside and had to be returned; however, the manager was wonderful and did not charge us for the order. There is an extensive wine list but also cocktails and beers. There were 6 of us and we felt the table was a bit small for tapas, wine flights etc. Overall the experience was a lot of fun and a great place to go with a group!“
“As a patron of the Tenafly location, I wanted to try the Montclair locale. Parking isn't great around there but we managed. The cocktails were good. There was a grilled octopus plate served with a salad as an appetizer and it was delicious! Most of the entrees were seasoned okay but nothing stood out. One of our 5 dishes came out wrong but corrected within 5 minutes. The original dish was meant for another table and we got the correct plate quickly. Noise level was normal for a Friday night. Very nice ambiance - decor wise. Would return.“
“We were at Cravings Tapas for a live music performance by Gizem in early March when te restaurant was reserved for I’m guessing 80-100 diners. This bistro is full of warmth and hospitality was top level, starting with its owner Ms. Stani and her dedicated wait staff. The portions are as generous as the variety offered on the menu, ensuring that every diner leaves satisfied. But it wasn’t just about the food for us; we enjoyed Gizem’s live music which added another layer of charm to our experience. With performances ranging from French and Turkish melodies to English classics and even Persian and Indian songs, it was so much fun. Back to Craving Tapas: everything was delicious! And we tried over 15 different items from the menu at our table of four. Last but not the least is about the kitchen staff: kudos to its hard working crew and the chef for pushing out hundreds of tapas to dining room full to the brim without any delays. Not an easy feat. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and seated promptly.All of the Dishes are tasty, I've had the beef which was tasty, the chicken and pasta was delicious, it felt as if I were in a NY steakhouse.Their event space is super Instagramable, bottle prices are reasonable, all and all in my opinion it's one of the top places in Paterson. “I've heard a lot about Cuban Pete's in Montclair but not a fan of waiting in line and the parking situation in Montclair. Saw this place opened a few months ago but was skeptical but decided to try it. We got the roast pork bowl and the way they set things up remind me of chipotle which makes me even more skeptical. I am pleasantly surprised how good it was. The pork was so amazing. Everything just goes so well together and tasted so fresh and good. If you are in Willowbrook mall and do not want to dine at a restaurant or get fast food, this is your place. Restaurant food at a food court. The portion is pretty decent as well and the price is reasonable. We paid $12 dollars for the bowl.“
