“This place is everything you hope for in a hometown bagel shop: great food and genuinely warm service. Joe, the owner, is there every day and somehow knows everyone by name—it really feels like a community staple. When we first moved to the area, I made it a point to try every bagel shop nearby, and these are hands down the best. The bagels are consistently excellent, the breakfast sandwiches are fantastic, and there are plenty of solid lunch options too. My personal favorite is the Nova cream cheese sandwich. It’s become a family tradition for us to come every Saturday morning for fresh bagels, and they even freeze well for weekday breakfasts (which is surprisingly hard to find). “I stopped in on a whim because I was in the neighborhood. I got 4 bagels for the family and the veggie cream cheese. Fresh, excellent top-tier bagels! Black Russian and Egg! Plain! All delicious. We're all lucky in NJ that most bagels we can get are at least okay, but these were a cut above! And the cream cheese was delicious and fresh - vegetables still had a little crunch!

Also, I appreciate that they discourage people coming in and just buying up all the bagels. In the 5 minutes I was in there, lots of people popped in, clearly regulars, for their breakfast. It definitely felt like a go-to place in the community and they make sure they can be open to serve as many as possible. That's cool. I look forward to returning!“

I called 5 Brothers from Wisconsin (not knowing anything about delis or restaurants in Lincoln Park, New Jersey—just going by google search) to order a couple trays of food for a memorial service in Lincoln Park which I could not attend. The two brothers I worked with listened to my situation and understood what I was hoping to provide food-wise, and then they suggested a mixed tray of baked goods and desserts that were perfect. “Listen they got the food down packed! But the service needs improvements and the quality of requests needs to be honored more efficiently! The truth is a hard working man doesn't want to come in more then once and have issues with their sandwich and have to wait much longer too get a new one. Nobody likes that in 2025. But overall the cooks are hard working people and make sure the food is great! They deserve 5 stars or more and more too come. I believe this place has potential too improve so there isn't enough stars here to show what's really going on in this place. Atmosphere they dont have inside seats its kind of grab and go. “We love Kettlemans and eat here a few times a week most weeks. There does seem to be a consistent issue with not getting online orders fully correct. More times than not, we are missing the cheese on our egg and cheese sandwiches or get an everything bagel when we order plain. I've ordered online here a number of times--usually during Mother's Day, birthday, and New Years day. The bagels were good especially the asiago flavor. The smoothie chillers are top notch. Same goes with the fruit platter, presented in a color block that screams detail. Unlike some grocery grade platters, the fruit seems ripe and sweet. Their specialty cream cheeses are good just a notch below Philadelphia's lmaooo. The manager and staff were very pleasant and Im glad I braved the snow to visit the shop New Years day.“

“This is one of my favorite food places. The bakery goods are fantastic. Bagels are made on premises and if you get lucky, you can get them fresh out of the oven.

Though not high end dining, this restaurant checks the boxes. Food is excellent. Staff is friendly and helpful. It is not fair to rate the atmosphere on the same plane as the other two. It’s not fancy but quite functional. Especially since it’s usually utilized as a take out place. Most of the time, I’m passing through. I phone in my order and pick it up shortly after. BTW, the tuna and chicken salads are to die for. Maybe the best I’ve ever had. The egg salad is no slouch either.“

The girls in the kitchen are always very friendly, but the older woman at the cash register always seems to be in a bad mood and has a terrible attitude.
