“I went two days ago to this Chipotle at night and the food was really very good, I asked the grill man if he could give me some of the fresh chicken that he was cutting and he gave it to the line and it was very good. The food is excellent, the only complaint is that the workers are a bit noisy but after that everything was excellent.“

“This is a small business that makes you feel at home even from different ethnicity. We are a fmaily of 7 and accomodated us very well. My kids are extremely picky and 3 of them chose the chicken tacos and loved them! One had the quesadilla and he is the most picky he ate some and took the rest for the next day. I am very picky with Mexican authentic food but this surpass all the restaurants I have been to in PA (I live in PA)! Al Azar plate was awesome and my baby is not one to eat much and she was eating the rice. My husband had the Caldo beef. To my surprise that was the most tasty soup I have tasted and the 1st Mexican soup I have tasted! The horchata was out of this world good! Will definitely go back again! I told the server that my son had a shellfish allergy and respected that! I bet the rest of the dishes are just as good!Parking: It’s a small location with parking. “Wow!! So we had a group of 8 and was pouring rain so looking for a takeout place. Found Tacos Polos because it was only 5 minutes away. We ordered tons of food for pickup. The price was great and the quality and amount for the price was unbelievable. We ordered a 30 tacos combo ?they were amazing. Everything was so good. “I’m addicted! The menu is simple, the food is flavorful and well presented. Service is wonderful and great value. Casual setting with beach-y/food truck vibes vs a restaurant-proper. I suspect that this place would have a lot more foot traffic if it were in town near Bloomfield Ave or Watchung, but I’m happy to have it so nearby in Upper Montclair, and I hope they are a long-standing fixture here (have seen a few places coke and go in this spot). The food here stands out miles ahead of a couple of nearby Mexican options, albeit smaller menu.“

“We recently had the pleasure of dining here today. This restaurant brings out the food of its people with great prices. The tacos are made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the flavors are truly authentic. We tried the fried pork, beef birria and chicken birria tacos and churros they were excellent. The tortillas are made fresh daily. The staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, we had a wonderful meal. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves authentic Mexican food.“

“This is the best Mexican food I've had in Jersey!! It's family owned and the family is incredibly friendly. The food is authentic, it tastes like it was served straight out of abuela's kitchen. “I always order burritos from here, also love their chips and guac (just wish there was a smaller size for chips cause I never finish them). They always do a great job preparing the food. “A fun place to visit with friends or a date night. They decorated the place for Valentine's Day and even folded the napkins into hearts. The first time I came was for the drinks so we just sat at the bar and ordered chips and guac. It was really good so we came back months later to try their actual food. The steak on the stone was cool because you got to cook it exactly to your liking. The plantains were good. I wasn't a huge fan of the green salsa, as it was bland. I would have just stuck to the original. For the dessert we tried the churros, dulce de leches and the brownie and ice cream. The brownie is a very very small portion but it is also rich and decadant. I would probably recommend putting it on a smaller plate presentation wise. I think I liked the churros the best which had two dipping sauces. Drinks were fun and delicious too.“

“The family at Los Hermanos is a quality group. The meet you with a smile and their space is delightful. Nice for a quick bite whether that’s for a breakfast quesadilla or a lunch entree. A great addition to the 4th ward of Montclair. Also, side note - they wear gloves while preparing your food and it’s a very clean establishment.“

“Stopped by this local dot because I was HUNGRY! Lol. Also needed to get something before heading to my next appointment. I walked in and although the place was empty, the employee at the front was patient, helpful and friendly. I liked the decor and cleanliness of the establishment. You could tell they worked hard to keep this casual spot warm and inviting. Down to the flower vases on each table. I ordered the pupusa and chicken tacos. The food was flavorful and ingredients fresh. Even the radishes and cucumbers as garnish was fresh. I'll be back again. I love finding local spots with great food! “The food here was excellent. Freshness and effort came through in all the dishes clearly. Everyone at the table loved their food - we ordered fish tacos, chicken fajitas nachos to share with everyone and our friends ordered the veg quesadillas and grilled veg Mexican bowl(it comes in a plate?). The restaurant also offers sauces with 3 different levels of spice which that added an additional element of flavour. The best thing is that they offer great service too ! Very warm and involved. “Really delicious. I ordered the Chamango, which had a blended mango smoothie with generous cubes of mango and chamoy (a spicy sweet sauce) throughout. It was decorated with a tamarind candy straw and a cute umbrella. It was a perfect balance of sweet and a little salty with a bit of a spicy kick. It was absolutely delicious and I will be back. The owner is also very kind and welcoming.“

“My friend and I got together for some good Mexican food. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and was greeted by the host/server and sat. It was a dimly lit restaurant. I started with the red sangria, and that was tasty. I was a little disappointed because they had no red wine for my next drink, so stuck with the sangria. For my appetizer, I got the camarones scampi, but it was a garlic shrimp, and it was tasty. My friend had the fiesta platter and I tried it and it was good. We then had the shrimp tacos, which were delicious! For my meal, I got the red snapper, and my friend had the garlic shrimp dish. I really enjoyed the red snapper, and my friend enjoyed the shrimp. We then had the dulce de leche cheesecake, which was good. We really had a good experience!“

And everyone agreed that all the ladies there were super attentive. The music was so good and the food was even better. Jamelle was our waiter and her patients divine. I was promptly greeted by a very friendly welcoming waitress. Everything on the menu looked great and I had a hard time selecting something, so I asked my waitress to recommend something. She recommended the Carne Asada Burrito. I ordered that and was not disappointed. The burrito was enormous, full of well seasoned steak, cheese and rice. It was so good. “My whole family really loves Los Carnales. I'm surprised I haven't written about them yet. It's our 3 year old son's first choice when we were deciding where to go. He loves the chips with the green salsa, and he has good taste - it's very flavorful. The inside is just super cute and festive. It is small and cozy, but one of our favorite spots. We also love the waitresses. We do get take out often as well, but despite our introvert personalities we prefer to go there. We try different things on the menu, but we always start with the Choriqueso. It's so hard to find a good chorizo queso that isn't all grease with cheap cheese. This ends up being the little guy's meal. I also love the Ensalada de la Casa with shrimp. Lately we've been loving the Quesadilla Mexicanas with steak or shrimp. They are really generous portions as well. The menu has both Mexican and American style on the favorites, which I really appreciate. Not only is it good for those used to one style, but it also offers great variety if you just want something different. I'm sorry it took almost a year for me to applaud this place. Mexican is our favorite but I have struggled to find a good place, despite glowing reviews. The food looks fantastic but then the protein is completely bland. Not Los Carnales!! They know what they're doing.“

“Wifey and I have been talking about going to Fat Fish Taco for eight years - since they opened - but we FINALLY made it last night. And we. Both agreed we were idiots for waiting so long. This place reminded both of us of being in a Jersey shore restaurant - pleasing and simple decor, friendly people, and good food. They were mostly filled when we got there, but we were seated immediately and started looking over the menu. We opened our wine (yep, it's BYOB) and they brought us some glasses. It was pretty tough deciding what to have. First we considered an appetizer and a couple tacos each, but then the table next to us got their nachos and we decided on those and one taco each. We ordered the nachos with chicken, Wifey got the Baja taco and I had the Blackened Sole taco. Man...it was all good. Kudos to the owner, Steve, and the wait staff. The tacos were delicious and everything tasted so fresh. The nachos were great too, though I would have liked more chicken on them. The chips tasted fresh and everything on top was just amazing. We finished off the evening with a slice of Key Lime pie with two spoons. It's not a stretch to say this is the best Key Lime pie I've ever eaten...anywhere. Could not have asked for a better meal...as Wifey said, it was an "Unexpected Delight. Took us 8 years to finally come here...won't be 8 years til our next visit, that's for sure. Worth every penny.“

“I wish I went here sooner. I love everything about this place. There’s plenty of food options. They have a sandwich and wrap station , taco station , pizza station , a fresh salad and bowl station and fruits and desserts. There’s plenty of chips and drinks to choose from. This is a great lunch spot. I had a “Livingston” pizza which had bacon, pineapple , and Gorgonzola cheese and it was real delicious. I also tried an “Essex” sandwich which was chicken cutlet , spicy ranch and tomato on Focaccia bread toasted nicely in the oven. Relaxed atmosphere with plenty of seating. Very friendlyHelpful people working. I will be back for sure to try many more items.“

After checking out the menu, I asked him what his favorites were and he made all the tacos sound so delicious. I was kinda of leaning towards a bowl, but after hearing all the taco goodness I grabbed a Cajun shrimp taco to hold me over till later.Turns out the guy I was chatting with was the owner, Todd. Really great to interact with him, super passionate about this place.Service was fast, taco was $6ish, and it was really tasty. “Came here for a late lunch on a Sunday. The experience was so much better than I had expected. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. First, the drinks. I had two rocks margaritas. They were very, very good. And a good size too. Very tasty. I've had some great margaritas, and some terrible ones. These were very much on the good/great side. So that was refreshing. We ordered the shrimp and scampi/garlic appetizer. OMG, we wanted to drink that sauce it was so good. Fresh cut garlic, just so good. Wife ordered the steak fajitas and I ordered the combo (chicken/steak/shrimp) fajitas. I think fajitas are a great choice to order here. They are presented very nicely, you get a lot, and they were absolutely delicious. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, just wonderful. The rice and beans were also service in a little tortilla bowl, which I proceeded to eat also. Overall it was just awesome. I can't wait to come back!“

“i don't know if you've ever had Yamaradas before it went out of business and became "El Arco" but i remember eating chorizo con huevo from yamaradas as a kid and being disappointed when i found out it closed because i don't like that plate from many other restaurants but im happy to say that La Morenita had nastalgia with every scoop with the tortilla, lone behold one of the owners (and or) cooks from yamaradas works at la morenita, if you haven't tried this spot i highly recommend“

“We are from out of town and we were looking for a family oriented restaurant that had good home cooking. The food was delicious, I had a whole snapper with white rice and tostones (green fried plantains) and my husband had white rice, black beans, salad and steak smothered in onions. Everything was Delicious and I even took my leftovers to the hotel for later. I can't say enough about the treatment we got from Denis the owner and his wife. We got a flight of jams, it was served with mini croissants, corn muffins and biscuits, but it wasn’t fresh at all. It was warmed up, but tasted like it’s been standing for few days already. I’ve had the smoked salmon omelette that was served with home fries and a toast-it was great. Overall, a nice place but wouldn’t say that I loved it.“

“Tacos are absolutely delicious, best tacos I’ve ever had. I recommend the carnitas but if you’re not into the fat then the steak(bisteck) ones are the next best. Their tacos also come with pickled vegetables on the side which make it even more delightful. I devour the whole container in less than five minutes haha. They are very kind and respectful and offer amazing costumer service. I don’t know why anyone would rate it lower than a four but maybe they were just having a bad day because I’ve known this taquerias for years now. Ever since they were located by Montclair Ave and I have never had a bad experience. I’ve recommended it to many people and they have all loved it.
