“Really nice staff. I came in last night like 15mins till closing, which I didn't realize because Google has the time wrong. Anyway I came in craving ice cream and could see they were getting ready to close up I could tell because the ice cream vaults were closed, so not wanting to making them open their ice cream vaults I said ok I'll just get a doughnut. I'm not sure of the guys name but he offered to open the ice cream and take my order. The sweet cashier Samira even gave me 2 free doughnuts since they were throwing them out anyway. I will be visiting this place again! great customer service goes a long way! Plus the ice cream and doughnuts were good!!!“

“Yummy! My favorite guilty pleasure! The ice cream is a such a treat on a hot day, or any day for that matter. The cones can be a bit burnt and stale which is my only complaint about that location. Otherwise, the ice cream itself tastes great!“

“Have been wanting to stop for the longest time. Finally did tonight. The food was fantastic! We were lucky enough to sit in the booth reserved for The Soprano Family!! Made the experience that much better. Nice to see the spot were the final episode was filmed but if we lived closer we would come back for the food!! So glad David Chase picked Holsten’s!!“

“Best ice cream shop in Essex County if not the entire state of NJ. You can taste the difference in quality, creaminess, ingredients, no artificial flavors. Small micro batches made with natural ingredients and real flavors. Great owner and staff. Very nice people who go above and beyond to help create a wonderful experience. Small space but the flavor is large. They are getting ready to launch their second storefront in Lyndhurst. Go check them out. You won’t be disappointed. Favorite flavors include: Strawberry Baklava Chocolate But all are incredibly good!“
