“I am currently sitting inside waiting on food 🥘 for my son and I 🤗! I ordered Chaufa Rice with meats! And ceviche Peruana 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰! The atmosphere is Dynamic! I had a double shot Hennessy no ice, a modelo and the food? Tasted it before exiting! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰I can’t wait until my son tastes his cultural food!🥘

“Yesterday I went to eat with my sister and some cousins ​​and the ceviche was delicious... I didn't have much faith in it, because years ago I went to eat the food was horrible. But now it has become one of my favorite restaurants.. super recommended“

“This is my fourth time here I always stop by for lunch special ($12.00) today they got Chicken Soup to start with delicious. As a main course I chose the lo Lomo saltado which in my opinion was a let down because Lomo Saltado main ingredients is tomato + onion as a baseline however, in my plate I got one small piece of tomato which made the flavor difference than what it supposed to be.
Also it was loaded with potatoes which in turn made it dry. In my opinion it should come with a bit more juice because of the potatoes plus rice.
It was a let down because so far I like the food here always fresh and like mom daily cooking.
Don’t let the quality suffer because this hole in the wall so far its been good.
The place looks clean and the bathroom was ok.
Also I will appreciate and I guess all Peruvians eating at this restaurant to serve Ají Huacatay with lunch.“

“My neighbor came by a few days ago and let me try the rotisserie chicken and French fries, it was really good. This convinced me to go in and check out the lomo saltado and I am very happy with my order. Lomo was something I ate a lot of in my younger days… It’s great to know I can place an order and walk right back to my house and enjoy it. The atmosphere in the restaurant is great, the service was amazing, and I felt pretty relaxed in there while I waited for my to go order. I’ll definitely be back for more food!“

“This place has hands down some of the best Peruvian food in NJ. So far everything I’ve tried has been carefully crafted and tastes absolutely amazing. They’ve recently rolled out a new lucuma dessert with marshmallow and chocolate flakes, and much like the rest of the menu, it does not disappoint. Huge shout out to Juana and Justin, even though the place absolutely packed, they were always checking in on us making sure we felt at home and had everything we needed. Can’t recommend this spot enough.“

“Food here is truly exceptional. I’ve visited countless times, both on my own and with family and it remains one of my absolute favorite restaurants. Every dish I’ve ordered has been consistently outstanding. I can honestly say I’ve never left disappointed.

The atmosphere, however, can be hit or miss for me. It tends to get a bit loud at times. While some guests may enjoy the live music or small performances, I personally find that it detracts slightly from the overall dining experience. Still, the quality and consistency of the food easily keep me coming back.“

“Went to Pisco de Mar for an early birthday celebration with friends and had a great time! Started with the croquetas de aji de gallina which were DELICIOUS!

I had the entraña a lo pobre, my fiancé had the jalea, and my friends had the Camarones Inka and the Arroz Chaufa con Pollo. Everything was really good, fresh, and dint take long to come out.

Had their chicha and it was nice too, very cinnamon forward. Finished the nice with a few different desserts including the tres leches and the flan!

Overall, the vibes were great, the staff was really friendly and attentive, and the food was a 10/10!“

“I love this place. I stopped here because it piqued my interest. I got the vegetable chaufa with added chicken and a choco bread pudding to go.

Absolutely fresh and delicious. I loved the pink sauce added into the chaufa, it was so sweet and added a nice touch of a different flavor. One employee and asked me how it was and explained how the pink sauce was made.

The place is so warm and cozy and the people that work there are so friendly. One of the workers had given a postal worker a drink for free while they were dropping off the mail. It was such a nice act of kindness that warmed my heart.

I’ve only ever tried their chaufa and chicken and it’s absolutely amazing. Their hot green sauce is hot so beware! The place is always packed, there was a time I went and the line was out till the door so definitely a popular spot amongst the people in the area. You will not be disappointed!“

“Absolutely incredible experience! The food was fresh, authentic, and bursting with flavor. Every dish had that perfect balance of seasoning that Peruvian cuisine is known for. The ceviche was bright and delicious, the lomo saltado was cooked perfectly, and the sauces were out of this world.

The service was fast, warm, and genuinely welcoming — you can tell the staff takes pride in what they do. The restaurant itself was clean, stylish, and had a great atmosphere.

“Omg! We used to come here when it was Imocha... so when they changed, we thought we'd try Peruvian food. So glad we did! Had the Leche de Tigre ( ceviche in a cup)... absolutely delicious!! Then ordered Chaufa Especial ( rice with steak, chicken and shrimp) .... very very good especially with the spicy green sauce they supply.... definitely will be back!!“
