“We are on a quest for the world’s finest egg roll. Both the roast pork egg roll and the shrimp egg roll are definitely finalists despite relatively little of the titular ingredient in either. They were both hot and crisp on the outside while the vegetables in the filling still had a little crunch to them. Beef chow fun was good. The house special lo mein, fried rice and wonton soup were filling but very bland.“

“I recently discovered a hidden gem in West Orange, NJ – Folklore Artisanal Taco – and it instantly became my go-to spot for authentic and delicious tacos. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by Sonya, who was taking orders with a warm smile and exceptional kindness. Her attentiveness and great recommendations added to the delightful experience.

I decided to try the shrimp tacos based on Sonya's suggestion, and they did not disappoint. Each taco was generously loaded with perfectly cooked shrimp, nestled in a soft corn tortilla and topped with fresh onions and cilantro or mixed cabbage. The side of salsa verde and aioli was the perfect complement, adding a burst of flavor to every bite. With four tacos per order, it was a satisfying and hearty meal.

The guacamole and chips were another highlight of my visit. The guacamole was fresh and flavorful, perfectly paired with the crispy chips. To top off the meal, I enjoyed a refreshing hibiscus water, which was a wonderful complement to the savory tacos and guacamole.

“I been there twice and I had an amazing experience. Our server Anijaah gave us a complete and good service, she was very kind and kept checking on us to see if we needed anything or if there was anything she can do to make sure we had a good experience. The first time I went she was my server so when I came back I made sure I requested to be seated in the area that she waited and when I come back I would like her service again. The food was amazing and everything was nice and fresh. She even topped off our deserts for us as well! 10/10 service and 10/10 on the food and drinks.“

I got an everything bagel w veggie cream cheese which was generous both on the cream cheese and the veggies in the cc. They had plenty of bagels to choose from and had breakfast sandwiches with that classic NJ yellow cheese.“

“I'm from Harlem NYC so one thing we know, is good chinese food. However, I don’t understand why this place has low ratings. I called yesterday to order a chicken and broccoli party platter, and it was ready in just 15 minutes. When I arrived, I noticed how clean and organized the restaurant was. The platter came in a large 8x11 pan, sealed with foil and piping hot, along with two big containers of white rice. It easily fed six hungry people, with food left over and the chicken and broccoli was absolutely delicious! It's a must try!“
