“An absolutely abundant amount of choices, that All sound so delicious. What an incredibly unique menu. We were definitely overwhelmed on what to have. We had the taco Birria pancakes and mozzarella stick hamburger with mozzarella cheese fries. Both were delicious. The service was great, even though we got there just before closing, they didn't rush us. The inside reminds me of a 50's style dinner, so cool. We can't wait to go back and try other things with friends. Highly recommend if you like unique and creative foods.“

“This place being the oldest diner in New Jersey (1925), walking in was like stepping back in time. The man running the place was very nice, it was fun and enjoyable having a conversation with him. It was great as my friend and I sat at the counter watching our food being cooked on the grill right in front of us. My friend ordered their stuffed pancakes, and they were as big as a flying saucer! I had the standard sunny side eggs, toast, bacon and sausage. Everything was delicious and had that classic old time diner taste we all remember. My friend and I are definitely going back there again very soon as it was that enjoyable.“

“really nice place , great service, nice atmosphere . Food we ordered was great except their version of Lasagna was a small bowl with meat, pieces of lasagna pasta with 3 slices of Mozzarella melted over it . I’d definitely recommend the place but that meal wasn’t a good choice.“

“Bendix diner is like stepping back into time. It's nice to see an old school diner like this. Don't let it's facade fool you into thinking that the food is greasy or average. Quite the contrary, the quality of food is very good, the portions are of good size and the prices are reasonable. There are artisan hot sauces on each table and counter, the syrup is maple syrup only but with cool flavors like Madagascar vanilla, cinnamon, habanero and others. Also the tea, they use premium tea leaves. All of that struck me as odd in a good way. The owner John and his son Michael are wonderful. They are attentive and provide good service. Their food is excellent. I had a turkey club there that rivaled 4 star hotel restaurants. It's truly a hidden gem“

“Went on a Saturday and it was pretty busy. Fortunately we didn't wait long for a table. We ordered a basic breakfast platter, eggs, bacon, potatoes, a pastrami sammy and french toast. All the food was delicious, well cooked with care. Service was very friendly but a bit slow but understandable seeing how busy it was inside. No complaints in that regard, tbh. Will be going more regularly!Parking: The restaurant has maybe 7/8 spots at most. There was street parking available close by.“

“One of my favorite places to go with my fiance! Breakfast is a go to of ours. Service is always amazing.I usually get two eggs sunnyside up or over easy with either bacon/pork sausage, cheese grits (American and ask them to stir the cheese in), and rye toast with coffee.The pancakes are 10/10. If I don't get eggs i usually get the pancakes. They are consistently great. If you don't want grits you can get fries or home fries. Both are great as well.Another solid choice for lunch/ brunch is the turkey club on white.Love going here and always have a great time with the love of my life. My favorite pancake partner in crime.“

“Ok, Grant Plater u fukn idiot it's obvious u don't get out to eat much... So d*** f*** any diner in the fun word u go to u get a waffle that can be cut into 4 sections. As far as chicken n Waffles d*** fuk unless u specify fried chicken and waffles, u will get tenders as for the gravy stupid for ur chicken, ur supposed to use syrup with this plate. If you did get fried chicken the cost would go up, duhh let me guess u would b**** about that to. Unless u no how a dish is served u should not complain because u sound like a fukn d*** a** who doesn't have a clue about dining out.. you wud be the type to go to a classy astablishment and say wats all the forks and spoons for by one plate.. ask before u comment and make a a** out of urself“

“Best breakfast value in the area. Serves real home fries, not the low budget frozen hashed browns like other local diners. They have tons of regulars, a testament to the quality and consistency. One negative - the server(woman) is always in a bad mood and it shows.“

“Went here after a show that ended at 10pm with family didn't know that they close at 11pm the staff were very receptive and accommadating no questions asked they served us and didn't rush us out. “Need a quick cup of coffee or their famous "Tower" breakfast sandwich then head to Abbie's. This small restaurant has 4 tables and about 6 bar stools. They have great pancakes and a good cup of coffee. Many locals go here for their morning caffeine hit and local news. People call in their orders and run in and pick up. It's a "guy" kind of place and many local landscapers, and tradesmen are getting a great breakfast sandwich and coffee on the run for a very reasonable price. I wouldn't recommend it if you're going with your girlfriends though.“

“The Philly Cheesesteak is the best! Good price for the amount of food you get!Breakfast is ok typical diner type food. I'm not a fan of eggs so the options are more limited for me to pancakes, waffles, etc. so we usually do lunch instead.They are open for dinner now during the week but post the specials on Instagram. They used to have a website and it no longer works, I really wish they would fix it because in this day and age usually if you don't have a website you don't last long as a business.“

“went here with reservations , for 9 people ,two toddlers and 6 year old included was told no wait ,ended up waiting over half an hour!the breakfast omelettes were just so so not salted enough , avocado Benedict needed salt . Having stated this , before we previously gone here for lunch and lunch , was great . They need to honor their reservations , especially when small children are included ,and salt their food“

“Located at an intersection between Goffle Road and Wagaraw Road, forming a triangle, my partner and I had lunch at the Hawthorne Diner as first-timers. Upon entering, the interior was small and simple, but it had plenty of booths as well as a bar and was clean. There were a few tables in the back where we sat promptly. Their menu had everything one wanted or needed at a typical Jersey diner. There were plenty of breakfast choices, as well as wraps, sandwiches, and dinner options. We decided on something light and went for the broccoli cheddar potato skins and 1/2 tuna fish sandwich combo with salad. Good food is served in a timely fashion and at a decent price. Our server was friendly and attentive. We can recommend this place.“

The food is on point all around my favorite is the cheeseburger and the breakfast with a Belgium waffle . The staff is attentive, and remembers our faces when we come. “Love this cute little diner! They have a lot of unique menu items and it's nice they have brunch drinks and milkshakes they decorate. I got the bacon, egg, and cheese sliders with fries. We also shared mozzarella sticks with the table. The coffee and chocolate milkshake was amazing. Perfect breakfast stop! They have plenty of seating and it's very clean inside.
