“Food was excellent. Had the tuna and it was cooked perfectly. The wasabi flavor on the mashed potatoes was perfect as well. Strong, but not over-powering.

Servers were kind and friendly, but our party was ignored for moderate durations of time. No one came throughout the entire meal to check on how the food was or see if people wanted more to drink. At the end, after waiting almost 30 minutes for someone to come with the check, I waited another 15 minutes to have someone come and pick it up after which I ended up going out and searching how to pay.“

“We have shared a couple of meals at the Pluckemin Inn after funerals for family members. Today we ate there and when asked about allergies I listed my many allergies. The server listened, wrote it all down and served me my own meal of an allergen free meal. I am so thankful that they were willing to take the time to make me my own dish today. “Most people see diners and get melancholy for the same bland and boring food, but that is where I will challenge you. Today, I was served the most flavorful dishes from any diner I have been to in my life. I will admit it was a very pleasant surprise and a very wholesome experience. The portion sizes were nice, they didnt overload the plates to make up for poor flavor, nor was it so exquisite that you had a simple morsel. All in all, the food was very well done showing both love of the food and the love of serving. As for the atmosphere, nothing too complex but nothing too simple, it showed a small piece of history from Clinton allowing for immersion and a peaceful environment. The waitress we had was very kind and knowledgeable about the menu as well as quick and precise with our requests!
All in all this restaurant has been put on my "visit again very soon" list. Such a pleasant experience and I'm excited for my next meal here.“

“I attended a wedding here last weekend and it was by far the fanciest and one of the nicest weddings I've ever attended. This particular wedding had a huge spread of appetizers for the happy hour time followed by a full course dinner, so we tried a wide range of food served here. Everything served was off the charts good. The service was first class and the atmosphere was very beautiful and high end. The scenic view of the valley during fall out back was lovely as well! I'd recommend this location to anyone based on the excellent service, great food, and lovely atmosphere.“

“Excellent seasoning options! The vendor booth at Bellevue Rocks had a great sale and free samples so you could make sure you really liked each flavor before buying. Loved that the ingredients are clearly listed on each packet (real crab in the crab dip for those of us with shellfish allergies). Versatile flavors and makes great dips! Little pricey $30 for 7 packets but I felt it was worth it!“

“Went tonight for my wife’s 30th birthday. Took 30 minutes to order appetizers and main course. Also then waited another 30 minute for appetizer and main courses to come out. Service was super slow between waiter and kitchen. Food was good in taste. Appetizer smaller in portion but flavorful. Most people in our party of 6 got the scallops. Two got the lobster dish with squid ink pasta and stated it was okay and not the best pairing. Salmon was paired with a white bean?
We brought in a cake, they charge 5$ for a cake cutting slice, that’s fine but we were never asked for coffees or teas until we asked. When we tried to order the espresso waiter said they were not making them anymore. All in all 4 stars if I were to rate my experience. French fries were Cold.. also. Saddle river inn beats these guys by a long stretch.

“The food is traditional Longhorn fare, though I will say there has been some improvement in recent years and prior cooking staff seemed to be rather heavy handed on the salt and they’ve corrected. Rustic cozy western vibe and traditional fare is accompanied by a solid assortment of appetizers to choose from. The steaks are reliable if not a bit plain, but consistency is key here. The staff service can be hit or miss depending on the training of those on hand on the given day, but they are generally attentive and do a good job.“

“We were there for breakfast today, January 14, 2024 and the service and the breakfast the weight staff everyone went out of their way as they always do for their customers. Unfortunately, there was youth groups that showed up and left the door open which was making customers freeze they clogged up the entryway, you would’ve thought that they would’ve called ahead for such large people to show up at a diner on a Sunday morning. But the staff there did the best they could with seating to regular customers and accommodating the large groups that came in kudos to Hillsborough star diner, and their staff.“

“Delicious! I was new to the place so we got a variety of items to try, on the recommendation of my brother.
I had the mama's favorite chicken sandwich and the chicken was juicy, tender and flavorful. Everything was fresh from the mozz to the spinach.
We also had the herb parm potato slices which were flavorful.
My partner had the mango chicken salad, the home made salsa was so good he wanted to take some to go (unfortunately they only do small batches at a time!)
We took two orders to go- smothered chicken and the 5 way chili. Even reheated, the smothered chicken was phenomenal! My brothers favorite is always the 5 way chili!“
