“Excellent food, drinks, and service! We had an exceptional birthday dinner. Family from NYC joined us and loved the food and drinks. We also loved the server we had. Rachel was an excellent server who was very attentive to all of our needs.“

“We go to The Rail every so often, usually on Tuesdays for T-Bone Tuesday. The steak itself is good, but lately they’ve had a hard time getting the temperature right. We ordered it rare on our last visit and it came out closer to medium.

The mashed potatoes are delicious, and the salads are always fresh. The drinks are good as well. We prefer sitting at the bar, but it’s small, so sometimes we end up at a high-top instead.

Overall, it’s a solid spot with good food, and we just hope the steak temperatures become more consistent.“

“Popped in here for lunch when I was visiting Clinton. Started off with their Fried Cheese Curds. These honestly were some of the best I’ve ever had. They were like snacks that you could just keep popping into your mouth, just would melt in your mouth. As for my main entree, I order the Baja Smash Burger. Which the combination of avocados, peppers, onions, chipotle mayo, tomatoes, etc… worked very well. It was delicious, I got a side of sweet potato fries with it, these were decent. I will say the coleslaw was not that great. But this is a good breakfast/lunch spot if you are on the main strip of Clinton.“

“Excellent seasoning options! The vendor booth at Bellevue Rocks had a great sale and free samples so you could make sure you really liked each flavor before buying. Loved that the ingredients are clearly listed on each packet (real crab in the crab dip for those of us with shellfish allergies). Versatile flavors and makes great dips! Little pricey $30 for 7 packets but I felt it was worth it!“

I had issues with a third party booking site and Nick did everything needed to ensure I was happy and got the room I was expecting. “We found this neighborhood eatery while searching for something different. The food was amazing in quality and taste. I like the shrimp bucket the most! I will probably ask to get this as a shrimp poboy on my next visit. “We were there for breakfast today, January 14, 2024 and the service and the breakfast the weight staff everyone went out of their way as they always do for their customers. Unfortunately, there was youth groups that showed up and left the door open which was making customers freeze they clogged up the entryway, you would’ve thought that they would’ve called ahead for such large people to show up at a diner on a Sunday morning. But the staff there did the best they could with seating to regular customers and accommodating the large groups that came in kudos to Hillsborough star diner, and their staff.“

As far as food goes, all was good. A bunch of apps for the table and everyone selected stuff from all over the menu and the reports were all positive. I had bangers and mash and it was superb.
